Great service. Quick resolution of a missed order(complimentary beer never hurts). Fun atmosphere. Food was excellent.

Mike, one of the managers was super at customer service. Very attentive to what we wanted and made this a very pleasant experience. The food was pretty good and had a nice vibe. Definitely would recommend for a chill night out.

This is a cool venue. just not for brunch. Ultimately i came here for brunch and felt the menu was limited… it definitely looks like a cool place for drinks, later on in the evening. They have tables with couches and a bar and many high tops. The customer service was nice– one of them was training. My water glass did run empty so that was unfortunate. I got the regular breakfast $ 9 for 2 eggs, 2 sausages and home fries. It was very yummy but steep for that amount. Their lattes are very strong… if you prefer strong ones, this is the place to go! I also went one night for my friends goodbye– it’s a great place to gather and their apps were yummy; kinda pricey. but whatever.

Great place and excellent service! I More than anything, food was amazing — their small plate options are totally worth it.

Came here for a quick drink and bite as a guest of the hotel(Chandler Inn). Sat at the bar. Very attentive service. The Brussel sprouts appetizer was delicious with figs and bacon. I don’t know if the prices are high for the neighborhood. $ 20 for a drink and app.

So it goes like this, the restaurant that replaced the previous gay sports bar was very nice looking on the inside and out. I was impressed with the décor, lighting, etc. Was strikingly different is the clientele, I believe I heard that they wanted a more lucrative & diverse crowd so hence the upgrade, funny, more diversity in this case means less gays. The waiter was super friendly so we ordered drinks and appetizers. My friend got the clam chowder which we both liked and I got the Jalapeño Cheddar Pretzels, which I didn’t like. The pretzel didn’t look homemade but came out of a box and was reheated. The cheese on the top wasn’t fresh as it was a part of the pretzel. The taste was bland and not fresh. I really want to like this place because of the décor and the windows that open, it’s way more inviting than Club Café so I’m come here again.

Place is amazing. Went in mid may on a rainy breezy night… they kept a window open so it was really refreshing while eating there. the food was really good. Good vibe. Dim litted and low key. Im a Big steak guy and i ordered the special which was a steak strip with chimi sauce. It was cooked perfect(medium rare). Coming back and order the tres leches its literally half a pie. So good.

Descriptions like«gastropub» and«mixology» are so last year… and barely begin to describe the culinary delights, libations, or scene at Trophy Room. Since its dramatic design overhaul in 2014 from a dingy-yet-popular neighborhood gay sports bar, the current offering has garnered a massive, diverse following. The design aesthetic is both bold and understated, with walls lined in classic subway tile over hardwood and penny tile floors. Comfy craftsman bar stools at oak tables blend perfectly with tufted leather banquets in the dining area, anchored by a Carrera marble chefs table. In warm weather, large floor to ceiling windows allow revelers to spill out on to the sidewalk under burnished bronze lamps and a custom iron canopy. Opened to the adjoining small boutique Hotel Chandler, guests at casual weeknight dinners and Sunday’s Classic Brunch range from international travelers to neighborhood straights and gays of all ages. The current menu remains loyal to its opening offerings, artfully polished by the talented chef Jay Russ. Can’t-miss small plates include the Figgy Piggy Brussel Sprouts, Meatballs, and Empanadas; or go for the Veggie Spaghetti, perfectly cooked 8oz. Fillet, or Trophy Burger. Later in the evening the lighting and music transition so slowly and subtly that you’ll be tapping your toes to dance tunes before you are halfway through Trophy Room’s excellent craft cocktail list. Or before you’ve worked up the courage to chat to the cutie next to you at the packed bar.

It’s a blast in a glass, and class on a silver platter. The food has improved, the staff has both grown, and improved, and the establishment is always clean. Thank you Trophy Room :)

Wicked killer joint with a nice ambiance — try the nachos, they put corn on them. How cool is that?!

They did a great job remodeling a few years ago and the décor is awesome. I’ve been here for drinks and apps before, which were fine but not worth remembering. My friend has a peanut allergy and the chef did come over to speak with her after we placed our order which was very much appreciated and unexpected. My main issue is with the constant smoking outside. I realize they have no control over which patrons smoke, but they need to clean up the butts better. I walk by on a daily basis and it is so disgusting to see the beautiful brick littered with dozens of cigarette butts. People were also apparently using the dirt by the tree outside as an ashtray and it didn’t get cleaned up for almost a week! Maybe if Trophy Room wasn’t on my walk to work I wouldn’t notice or care but since I have to look at it every day, I’d rather support other local businesses that care about the appearance of the neighborhood.

This review is for the restaurant, which is unfortunately below average, especially for the prices they charge. I would put the food on the level of your average sports bar. The highlights of our meal were the Meatballs as well as the Caprese Salad but that’s not to say that they were something to come here for. They were mostly just edible. The absolute worst were the Cauliwings and the House Salad. The lettuce seemed unwashed and the croutons were stale. No idea where to even start with the Cauliwings(three cauliflower pieces). The only reason this place gets a second star is because the service was overall positive and the staff were very friendly. I wonder if perhaps it is a much better bar than it is a restaurant because the ambience was nice inside. Another annoyance, it was way too cold inside — maybe if we had a few drinks it would have warmed up but as a group of non-drinkers we were shivering. If you’re considering it for dinner don’t be fooled by the 4 star average review here as we were. Move on. If you’re going for drinks/happy hour then go right ahead but just don’t expect much from the snacks.

We had a really disappointing dinner here tonight. We had tried the burgers at Trophy Room back in December and liked them, so a group of us went back tonight. When we sat down our server(who I believe was the manager) told us they’d just redone the menu and were really excited about it. We all asked if they still had the same burger and he said yes. Three people at our party ended up ordering the burger(who had all had it back in December) and it was totally different than before and very disappointing. When we mentioned to the server we thought the burgers were no longer good he became really defensive. I understand it’s not his fault they weren’t that good but as the manager the appropriate response is to offer apologies and a complimentary dessert or coffee to make up for the poor experience. I also tried the veggie spaghetti and thought it had no flavor. I literally could have whipped up something better in my kitchen in 10 minutes and I’m not even a good cook! We won’t be back. We don’t like the new menu and thought managements response was really unprofessional.

Called ahead and they were able to accommodate us even though they had a large private function going on in the main bar area. Service was great! Met at the door with a smile and taken to our table right away. Our waiter was excellent. He was very attentive and courteous. Food was awesome, we have some vegetarians and vegans in our party and they didn’t have to hunt to find something suitable. They have great options for them. Drinks were great! I had the Trophy Wife and just like my own beautiful wife, I couldn’t get enough of it. We would definitely highly recommend the Trophy Room. They now have music on Mondays and Wednesdays as well.

Awesome place. Love it primarily for the fantastic stylish atmosphere and superb food(plus the super hot chef), but also great service, drinks and live music. You MUST order the Buffalo Cauliflower — unique and delicious.

The service is not attentive or friendly, except if you are a friend of(a) server. It’s unlike Boston, and disheartened to have witnessed this type of preferential treatment: In a neighborhood bistro /bar. The steak frites & The Classic Burger are both 8 ozs of Boston strip steak and cooked, are plated very small — the accompaniment of hand-cut fries over-powered the plates. The hand-cut fries are good, as a stand-out alone($ 6). The pear spinach salad($ 13) was ordered with added chicken — it was not atop or accompanied to Bosch pear, marinated artichokes, charred fennel, pomegranate seeds, & blue cheese crumbles. It may have appealed more, to the palate with added poultry, due a tangy maple vinaigrette. We should have selected a Fall Cobb? The beef quality is just okay — the service not. That’s my beef with The Trophy Room.

Arrived at Trophy Room after leaving the long long long wait jn a short line at Club Café up the street. Wow what a huge difference. Walked in, NO cover and, no wait. We grabbed our drinks very quickly and the clientele here was great on the eyes too. A must to check out their dinner menu looks great as well.

Nom! Your comfort food just got refreshed. Went classic and ordered the burger and fries. Too. Freaking. Good. The meat was perfectly cooked, the bread perfectly toasted, and those fries. Those fries! Also ordered the asparagus appetizer and was so happy to have tried it! The sauce that was glazed over it was just right — not too salty, has a hint of peanut flavors. The ambiance is comforting, good place for anyone(family, friends, couples, whatever). Gotta love it when you get to enjoy your favorite comfort food, and it comes out better than what you’d expect.

This place was great. Getting here driving was rough(definitely try to take some other means of transportation here), but this was probably the best place I’ve eaten/drank at in the Boston area so far. But let’s step into specifics, shall we? AMBIANCE: Warm décor, great wooden bar atmosphere – seating is well spaced out, something which a lot of Boston-area restaurants need to learn to do better. SERVICE: Waiter and bartender were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu… and they even made small talk!(again. something that a lot of Boston-area places don’t seem to get). TIP: This was probably the best burger I’ve had in Boston, so if you’re hankering for a meat-injection, definitely go for this: I’ve been missing midwestern BEEF and this place delivered. Also, definitely try their mezcal/jalape~no drink(Something-«Death»). It was great-tasting and really just a well-done cocktail. Would definitely recommend this spot to others.

Usually I would give this place a 3 as an A-ok spot but they get an extra star for their menu. I am overjoyed when I see a dining establishment but in some creative twists in flavor and ingredient to create unique vegetarian and vegan friendly dishes without gloatingly promoting themselves for doing so. Respect! Came here with my classmates and alumni for a mini get-together right down the way from my work. We squished into a booth [because we choose to like each other] and stumbled through the menus. Their beer selection is small but solid, I’m sure there’s more at the bar naturally, and the waiter made modest amounts of appearances which was the reason I did not order larger dishes. I had a really tough time deciding what I wanted, there were too many good looking options. I finally settled on the blood orange risotto and the grilled asparagus. The asparagus was delightfully charred yet it didn’t impact the flavor, especially in combo with the soy aioli [which for a second I forgot what it was as I was very green]. The blood-orange risotto was interesting. I loved the small size which is great for a heavy risotto, however it was VERY heavy on the blood orange. Unfortunately the additional infusion of the balsamic drizzle left the dish too sweet for my taste. But +1 for originality. I really want to come back and try some of the more ingenious creative ideas: the spicy cauliflower wings, the carrot bisque, the angel hair zoodles [zucchini noodles!!! and tricolored carrots goo Italy!] or the vegan spaghetti [that was my runner up if I had more time] All together, should be back, cheers!

I really liked it here. Great vibe, clean, not too crowded. We showed up at 8 pm on a Saturday afternoon 8 people deep and stayed until about 10:00 pm. We got really lucky because they were holding a large booth for a while for a big party that was late. We grabbed beers from the bar and were standing around when we got hungry. I asked the hostess how long it would be take to seat is and she said that if the party did not arrive in 10 minutes the table was ours. After 9 mins she gave us the table. Our server(Sadly I forget her name but she had red hair) was awesome. She had a great personality, gave food and drink recommendations, and was just really good at her job. I got the truffle popcorn(good, but smallish so you won’t want to share with anyone) for an appetizer and had the cauliflower wings and carrot soup as an entrée. They were both appetizers but I wanted it. the cauliflower wings is grilled cauliflower with buffalo sauce. It was really good, but a little spicy. Pairing it with the carrot soup have my mouth little reprieve from the spice because the soup had curry. It’s ok I ate some of my boyfriend’s fries to help with that. They ended up not having as much soup left as they thought so they gave me my bowl of soup for free(since it was about the same size as the popcorn). I wouldn’t have known it was small since I had never been there before, but it is good to know. I had the Tour de France drink and it was really good. My boyfriend said his old fashioned was only ok, but that his burger was perfect. Great experience overall and I look forward to going back.
