I stopped in here for a bite before the show at Stuart Street thanks to a Buy With Me deal. When I got there, there were three tables of 2⁄3 seated and one other person at the bar. The bartender(there were no servers or host) was disinterested, but did get me a beer relatively quickly. That’s where the decent experience ended. A few more parties came in and sat, and the bartender promptly began losing his shit. I sympathized with him at first, it did get busy and he needed help. But two managers and another server came up to help him pretty quickly, and he was far from thankful. The server brought up a few plates, asked him which table they were going to and he snottily said, «Dunno,» and ran away. Not to get the bill from a few tables who were finished and trying to flag him down though, he went into the kitchen and came back empty handed. Our food, like everyone else in the restaurant that night, took forever to come out and we missed the beginning of the movie because of it. Thankfully, the manager at the Stuart Street Playhouse was a complete angel about it and informed us that they’re honoring the BWMs until the end of the year! But back to this dump. The meals were quite unimpressive, especially considering how small the menu was. With only two sandwiches and a couple of salads, you’d think they’d be able to make them really good. My chicken Caesar was the most boring waste of calories and fat intake I’ve consumed in months. With so many other options in the area, with comparably priced menus, you would be foolish to go to this one.

As previously stated by others– this place IS expensive at face value. A burger is 13 bucks. But luckily I had a coupon deal. We kept our order simple(a burger and mushroom burger) with the hope of getting served quickly due to theater tickets. Despite the fact that the place was relatively empty, our meal took half an hour to arrive. And a couple that arrived after us got served first. Not good service considering we had mentioned our time issue to the waiter. The food was OK. My friend enjoyed the burger. My portobello burger was fair — the«foccacia» tasted like it came right out of a supermarket bag. The fries were of frozen waffle variety and rather greasy but the light spicyness added some interest. The meal was huge with some standard cole slaw and a pickle wedge added to the plate. We had to ask the bartender 2X for assistance since our waiter was hard to find much of the time. We ended up eating less than half of our meal due to fact that it took so long to arrive. We were given plastic containers to fill ourselves. I would definitely avoid this place unless you have a coupon. For the prices, the meal was a disappointment in terms of time, quality and service. Tourists be brave! At least wander across the street to the transportation building.

Went for lunch. Had the Lobster Roll meal that came with French fries and Clam Chowder. The Lobster roll was okay and the Clam Chowder not bad. It was alot of food for 19 dollars.

This is my go-to place for a bite/drink in the theatre district during peak-tourist/show-goer times. Even though it’s attached to the Radisson Hotel, it NEVER is overcrowded. I always get a seat. I’ve had their burgers, salads, and spinach artichoke dip and the portions are always generous. They are a little overpriced, but everything in that neighborhood is.(And since Bennigans shut down(RIP) there aren’t many affordable places to grab a bite pre-show. The staff has always been courteous and prompt. It’s a great place!

The ambience in here is outstanding. It feels very rich, and old, and I loved the big comfy booth we were seated in. The prices were definitely high, but I had a buywithme gift certificate so my friend and I didn’t feel as badly about out overpriced chicken club sandwiches. They were definitely delicious, and the fries, while generic hit the spot. Out server was polite and around when we needed him. The beer selection is not outstanding, but we each settled in with a lunchtime bottle of suds. I probably won’t return since I am functioning on a grad student’s budget, and would rather spend my cash somewhere else, but it was a great sandwich.

Four of us stopped in to the bar for a drink last night. We picked the place because we were staying at the Radisson and we could get there without going outside. The bartender deserves a one-star review. He looked at us like he didn’t want to serve us, and ignored us the entire time we were there. About ten minutes after I asked for the check, he was playing with the remote controls for the TVs and doing everything possible to make us wish we never went there. It was so bad we left no tip and went downstairs to complain, and this is where it gets interesting. The woman behind the desk gave us free breakfasts for the next morning and apologized. I really wasn’t interested in getting something for free, I just wanted them to know that the guy was an idiot. So we go for breakfast the next morning and we’re back in the same place. Incredibly, we’re even at the same table. But this time it’s breakfast and Edith was our server. Edith is a five-star server and was everything that the bartender wasn’t. We loved her and we wanted to take her home with us. So it’s one star for the bartender(note to mgmt: he was the only one working the night of 10⁄17) and five stars for Edith. This averages out to three even though there was nothing average about either experience.

I pop in here from time to time when I need an overpriced sandwich and a little coffee with Kahlua to make it through my next class. Usually at lunch time there is no one there to seat me, so I start sticking my head around corners until someone smiles at me and puts me in a booth. You’ll probably have to request a drink menu at lunch time and make an «I don’t care» face when they say«Ooooh, a drink menu at noon!» The menu is nice, but limited for the pesco-vegetarian. VERY limited for the vegetarian. Pescos: pay $ 9 for a Tuna salad sandwich. Veggies: pay $ 10 for a Caprese. Vegans: pay $ 2 for coffee, hold the cream, eat the lettuce off your friend’s plate. I usually get the Caprese. It’s yummy, huge and arrives on a bed of very delicious french fries. It’s not super cheap, but the portion is 2 meals for me, so it works out to a pretty nice deal. Don’t come here looking for anything brilliant, but if you’re nearby they have a small but solid menu and make a nice meal.
