I had an amazing time here with my sister and best friend who were visiting from out of town. The venue is very quirky and has a lot of cool art pieces. Great apps and drinks!

I went here for a Meetup event. This place is really neat! Great art on the walls, has a bar, and a great place to talk and have a good time.

FUN! I really dig the atmosphere and décor. Nice staff as well as instructor, who was also funny and encouraging. I have been to several«Paint Nite» events but was eager to try this because it is its own studio and bar/small plate menu. Would definitely return.

Well, I loved the place a d will come back there with my husband next time. Why not 5 stars? they did not really good at organizing the whole event. The painter is ndoing her job, the bartender/chef doing hers, which left us wandering around the place alone looking for the bathroom, where to hang our coats, finding seats(we wasn’t sure can we just pick whatever seats or they will seat us), and apron(I had to look for someone to ask for it). Well, the first we wasn’t really happy, but you will agree with me that it’s just little tiny not even problems. Renée is a very good teacher, she explained us how to use brushesl, which ones is good for to make rounds, squares etc. She tought us to mix colors. The whole event was fun. The food was good enough for snack(although don’t go there with empty stomach) and the wine menu was impressive for painting classes. We enjoyed the day for sure. Tricky to get there by public transportation tho, we had to take bus from the trains station. But the experience was worth it.

Headed here for a Bachelorette with about 10 other ladies. The space is small, but the staff is well-organized, efficient and they use the space well. Yeah, you’ll bump elbows… but the whole point of these things is to foster that sense of communal artistry … right? Make some friends and quit whining. I love that they serve food in addition to well-made drinks. I was enjoying the small plates(the brie wrapped in phyllo with raspberry… yum) and the fizzy drinks were definitely going straight to my head. I was ready to hand deliver my ear to the other end of the table with a love note… I didn’t love the painting we were tasked to do, but nonetheless, I jumped right in and had a great time learning how to mix the paints(on the canvas, kids… not on the plate!), create special effects(both intended and unintended as more and more drinks were consumed) and I did especially like how it was encouraged for folks to get up, move around, see what other people were painting and to get to know each other. Definitely a social experiment that I would be up for again!

We went to the Urban Art Bar for their Luxury Box Sunday and celebrated a SURPRISE birthday party for my sister(group of about 15 ppl) and watched the Pats vs Broncos game. Parking was a little tight but we all ended up finding street parking. Low key and great space to watch a game and celebrate a bday — tasty snacks/food and we all had a great time! Thanks again guys!

I really love art and I am new to the city of Boston. I wanted to find a way to meet new people so I bought a groupon for $ 25. My roommate and I have gone twice and we have loved every minute of it. The atmosphere is amazing each time we go! The drinks are affordable and the music they play is great. I want to try their mixology classes next, but so far I am glued to attending as many paint nights as possible!

Yeah, I just have to say it, this thing is pretty cool. Three things I didnt like — but I could have avoided one: 1. The place felt overbooked. Not enough room. When I got there, there were NOT two seats available that were next to each other. 2. Yes, I get that we are painting, but, please turn down the light. They were really bouncing off of the white walls harshly. And also added to the high temperature in the room. 3. My second glass of pinot noir was served in a glass that was 100 degrees. What the heck. I get it, I don’t use proper grammar. Things I liked: cool moderator cool bartender cool supplies they have food but I didnt order anything
