The Secret Garden

This was always my go-​to florist. Best stuff at the best prices, and the staff was always super friendly and talented.
Unfortunately, they closed down forever a little while back. It’s a shame.

The florists will work within your budget and they have never made a bad bouquet for me. Lovely bouquets that last longer than expected!

I just got off of the phone with The Secret Garden. I ordered a «Thank you» bouquet for my boss, and with a small budget, the man on the other end was very willing to help us out. With only a $ 10 delivery fee, I felt that was extremely fair. I have always walked past this flower shop, but never gone in, but knew I wanted to call them rather than a chain flower store. So helpful and charming.

My roof-​deck is an empty canvas and Secret Garden is the master. Tom (one of the owners) shows up, takes stock of the space and the inhabitant’s style – I requested New England Jungle, and he figured it out – and then goes out and finds the right flowers and plants ASAP. You wouldn’t believe the hyacinths and nearly fluorescent delicate looking but summer-​long sturdy blossoms that frame my city views.
Give the Secret Garden a dollar amount and they will find a way to impress you with it. Since you’re wondering how much, I’ll tell you. The multiple visits, many large tree-​plants, pots, flowers, and clean-​up of last year’s mess was under $ 1500. I will get 15 weeks of use out of it including multiple parties for which I won’t have to buy cut flowers, which is how I justify it!
I agree with Suzanne M that their cut flowers are quite stunning as well.

What *gorgeous* flowers. A small, quaint little shop tucked away next to Trident, their flowers are diverse, beautiful, and healthy. Flowers I buy here last longer than others I have bought locally. I love flowers from here!
