Sunday at 10AM, they ran out of decaf coffee and I was told that they are not brewing decaf for the rest of the day. I was looking for the camera and the annoying TV show host to jump next to me and tell me that this was a prank. No, this is real. Most other stores would do a single brew because Starbucks is all about customer service; not this location. Take your business to the one on Newbury Street.

This particular Starbucks is great for the only reason that it’s super spacious with lots of tables and study spaces. However, the staff is one the of the most unfriendly people I’ve met. They are disorganized and do not have people skills. I love coming here to study and cuz it’s close to my work, but it’s kind of hard to when I’m not a fan of the staff. Maybe I’m just better off going to the one across from the BPL.

OK, time for an update. The new mobile ordering has significantly helped the line situation here. Also, I need to give a shout out to one of the best team members, Jazz! She is so friendly, always has a smile, and makes great coffee! Always a pleasure seeing her :)

I was so obsessed with this Starbucks. I felt like such a tourist(which I was) taking pictures of all of the cool art and things on the walls. This store was BUSY, we stopped here after flying all night and needing some breakfast before a full day of activities. The staff was kind and efficient, and our food and drinks came out exactly as ordered. I’m happy to remember our visit here with the photos on my phone!

This was my worst Starbucks experience over the course of 11 years of being a Starbucks customer. It’s not about the wait; I am used to it. In 11 years, I have never changed my order once. It has always been with whip. I made my order and was asked if I wanted whip and I said yes. So far it’s normal. I get to the pick up and the barista hands me my cup which when I saw, did not have whip. I asked if it was mine, she told me it is and they ran out of whip. Call it ridiculous habit but I never drink my cup without whip and if I was told that as I ordered, I would have gone to another starbucks immediately. This makes my experience 3 stars so far. What made it worse is I asked the barista nicely if they’ll make some whip soon. She replies with the biggest attitude that they are busy and I can see the line, once it’s done maybe she’ll make some in a belittling way. I replied saying I don’t mind waiting. 10 minutes passed, I still kept my cup without touching it. She still was making orders so I didn’t complain once. So far, I did not have any problem. After 5 minutes, she’s like okay I’ll go and make some. She disappeared in the back. After 10 minutes, I see another barista putting whip cream in other drinks and I ask her if she could fix my drink and she apologizes to me that she didn’t know I was waiting for whip. I ask her about the other barista. Turns out it was the manager. How wonderful. The other staff were absolutely amazing and understanding. But the manager? I have nothing against her personally but it was very unprofessional of her. I refuse to let the unprofessionalism of one manager to stop me from being nice to nice and friendly baristas but I’ll be sure not to get close to this place while she is in charge.

This is the slowest Starbucks on the planet. They new team is also kind of rude. The old team was great. I can only come here if I have 25 min to spare even not during peak hours of the day. I literally had to abandon my drink

Great — for a Starbucks. Large, spacious, great location, clean, good wifi: perfect place to work or study a bit. The lines can be long sometimes though.

I always try the stand alone coffee houses first, but they are either a hit or a miss. I know that Starbucks will give me a quality cup every time.

This Starbucks is great. Ever since I moved to Boston, I’ve encountered a bunch of coffee shops with slow/crappy internet. Starbucks doesn’t fail though in the free wifi arena. Coffee can be hit or miss, as with any Starbucks. This one is also open late and has lots of large tables, there is great music in the background, so it is a great place to get work done. I miss Seattle and its many coffee shops, but this place will do while I’m here in Boston.

This space is quite gigantic. Styled to be a busy yet sit down study location. The service is swift and the music is not too loud. The lighting however, is a bit too artificial.

An attractive interior and great if you are lucky enough to snag a seat, as it’s always full. Sadly, the staff just seems sloppy, especially when compared with the store just down the street at Berkeley & Boylston. My drink has been messed up so many times, with the only apology I receive being that I can keep the messed up drink. Why would I want something that no one ordered? I generally try to walk the extra few blocks to the other location just to avoid the frustration.

Clean and fast service. Orange Mango Smoothie is not good. Only fresh ingredient is a banana and that isn’t in the name. Ugh.

This Starbucks is located in Boylston st,. Good location. Inside is large, so we can have a seat easily. There are bathrooms that were separated. Staffs are kind. Absolutely, there are free WiFi. In addition, there are some outlets. It’s useful.

Friendly service. Upbeat yet calm and convenient location. Drinks are wonderful –if you know how to order your own coffee. Big shop, lots of seating but completely full! Good: coffee, service, cleanliness, free wifi Bad: kinda loud, need more chairs. There is enough table space but not enough chairs. Would I come back? Iffy. Maybe.

Slow, messy and just bad. No pike roast. I asked them to use a treat receipt. They didn’t. They charged me. Awful store.

It’s really weird that I haven’t reviewed this Starbucks considering I’ve been here a million times. The customer service is excellent and the baristas are experienced. Plenty of seating(indoor and outdoor). Free wifi. And public restrooms. Probably one of the best Starbucks in Boston, as Starbucks can actually vary in quality just like any other store or restaurant. If you want to compare to one of the lesser Starbucks, check out the one on Winter Street in Downtown Crossing.

Free bathrooms for everyone! Of course WiFi as well. Friends used to do homework at Starbucks all the time. Love their iced caramel machiatos.

This by far is one of my favorite Starbucks. They’ve switched the tables and chair around quite a bit to find the best possible way to reduce the long lines and people waiting to get a seat perhaps. Mostly the staff here are cool. They seem genuinely nice and almost always with a smile. I usually come here later on the day because this place is open until 10:30pm daily which totally rocks when you don’t like cars and clubs but just want to sit and have a little chat with friends. The only recommendation is perhaps the bathroom needs to be cleaned up a little more frequently. Today, I’m a little ticked with the cashier Marcus. I ordered a Chinatown green tea like I usually do. Normally the cashier hair put the yea bag in full it with water and hang it over to you like every other Starbucks I’ve ever been and there has been quite a few. Instead he range up and told me to go wait at the end. Also I asked for a cup of ice. I walk to the end where the baristas were where he placed the cup of the on the counter to retrieve my drink. No ice. He is now already back at the cashier. I asked him about the ice. He said once again I need to be at the other end and when the barista gets to it, I’ll get it there. It’s a cup of ice! Why would anyone in their right mind would have the barista just put some ice in the cup when here already busy as is and there was only 1 barista but 2 cashiers!!! And on top of that why would you want your customers to wait for a cup of ice when it takes two seconds to put the ice in the cup and handover to them with their tea. Unbelievable. But I guess it is because it just happened. I’d give this mace a 4 star if it wasn’t for this and the cleanliness of the bathroom. One positive thing they. I do see improvements here and generally other stuff members are pretty cool and fun to see later in the evening.

Lots of tables and chairs with outlets to spare. And awesome coffee service? My kinda coffee shop. I’d come here before to snag a latte before or after shopping(confessions of a caffeinated shopholic…), but never to experience all that this Starbucks location has to offer. I appreciated the size and the abundance of tables and chairs to kick back and relax in. I was waiting for my husband, and so I got a latte, grabbed a spot, charged my phone, opened a book and chilled out for a spell. It was a cold, blustery day, and lounging in here was worth it.

the staff were helpful(I asked about connecting to the wifi which im sure they get all the time but he didnt seem annoyed to answer) but I felt they wasted their time a bit bc one got pulled out from the counter to talk about real estate and while there was a huge line and over 5 people waiting for drinks one left to look at sandwiches. Clean enough, just a bit messy with cups and plates. In fairness, there was a line the whole time. Maybe there wouldnt have been if people didnt leave the counter…
