The food fine, standard chain Italian food. The chicken Parmesan is a little unappealing to look at but tastes okay. This airport needs some better options close to gates B1-B10

Wow. Never thought I’d have a bad experience at a Sbarro… Terrible piece of pie and tasted so bad. Weird actually. Stay away!!!

I ordered a croissant for breakfast and somehow it took them 15 minutes to hand me my food, with only 1 person ahead of me. On top of that, the two men that were working this morning hardly spoke English.

Service was slow to deliver, rushed to pay. Ordered a panini that tasted much older than“fresh”. Everything was dry, bland. Spent a long time in the oven but still came out cold. Can’t believe I paid money for this, especially given there’s a perfectly good au bon pain right next door.

it’s airport food, so i have to remember that while writing this review. however, i have experienced some excellent airport food and service, even at typical fast food chains. i ordered an omelet for breakfast, with toast and fruit. the vegetables already looked limp, but i went ahead with filling the egg white substitute with mushrooms, peppers tomato, broccoli, and onions. the omelet was soggy, and unfortunately flavorless despite the 3 packets of salt and pepper that i added. i asked if i could substitue some fruit for the hash browns, and the staff informed me that this was not possible, but that since i had an extra topping in my omelet(what… 3 pieces of pepper?) that he would not charge me for the extra if he did not add the hash browns. whatever. i ended up paying for the fruit cup, regrettably so. the grapes were soggy, kiwi was mushy, and i didn’t even end up eating the orange and canteloupe. i have to give sbarro some credit for being open an hour earlier than the au bon pain and the hudson newsstand, but i probably should have just hit up mcdonalds.

While beggars can’t be choosers when you haven’t eaten all day and you’re past the security gate at the airport, I’ll try something else next time. $ 15 got me three slices of sub-par pizza(two plain cheese, and one«specialty» tomato and mushroom slice) and a medium drink. Yikes.

Food is tolerable, but consistent from Sbarro to Sbarro. Airport didn’t exactly have shopping mall prices, or I’m not sure what mall has a sbarro with a $ 9 value meal for one person. Two slices and a drink? Odd experience — there was a small pile of coins in front of the employees’ terminal touch screen. It looked like someone just left their change. I asked, and they said it is for tips. Why not a jar? Why not a cup? They’re not allowed to have a tip container. Now… doesn’t this defeat the purpose of the no tip jar policy? Come on folks, a tip«pile ‘o coins»?? For heaven’s sake there’s already too much tipping. We don’t need one more place. Sbarro’s?
