Terrible experience, we won’t be going back. Asked for a mocha and they made it from powder. Seriously? The hot cocoa was the most«gourmet» item on the menu. Doesn’t accept credit cards either. Service was pretty poor too, untrained staff and not very friendly. No seating, takeout only. Not sure how this place was rated 4 stars when we saw it.

LOVEATFIRSTSIP! This place was raved by my friends over and over and over! And they’re right for the first time. I swear the logo always got me thinking it’s from a Chinese food joint. It was packed upon arrival. But the lines went pretty quickly. Didn’t know what to order so asked the cashier to give me a recommendation. She recommended me the PS special. Oh golly. Exact words from BF «oh wow it’s like drinking candy! Gigity.» Will be back to try other flavors!

My regular spot to grab a quick coffee and/or breakfast sandwich in Southie. PS is known for their iced mochas(iced nutty bar is a must try). Huge selection of hot/iced flavored coffees and mochas. Just a note that the mochas are already somewhat sweet so I caution you if you add sugar as well. Awesome breakfast sandwiches using real flat top cooked eggs(no Dunkin Donut frozen patties here!) sausage/bacon/ham and english muffin/bagel/croissant. Cash only but has an ATM inside.

Great little coffee shop with friendly service, $ 1 coffee and tasty breakfast sandwiches.

I learned to always order the mochas. The regular iced coffees are too watery for me. I recommend the Nutella or strawberry tuxedo(strawberry and white chocolate flavor).

I lived across the street from PS Coffee for 2 years and went on a daily basis, it was a slight addiction. Not sure I would have gone as frequently if it wasn’t so darn convenient and it would lure me in every time I looked out my window. Pros: –huge selection of flavors –fast service –the bucket size is as big as your head(perfect for a coffee fiend like myself) –will open right on schedule during a blizzard– nothing seems to stop these guys –cheap Cons: –the staff here does not want to be bothered with you so you better be ready to go with your order when you get up to the counter or they will literally call on the person behind you –cash only(such a hassle if you never use cash like myself and despise cash only when its 2015), there is an ATM inside but its a bit sketchy looking –flavors are hit or miss(some are super watery and lack flavor) –lines can get crazy long on the weekends –flavors are not self explanatory at all and its kind of hilarious how similarly they are named(became a joke of sorts between my friends) but don’t make the mistake of asking the staff what the difference between pumpkin pie, pumpkin patch and jack o lantern is because you will get a huge groan Overall this place is pretty great but because of the cash only situation, the sometimes inconsistent flavors, and the cold demeanor of the staff its a solid 3 stars for me.

My go-to coffee place. I always come here for coffee whenever I can and I always get the bucket. The girls who work here are super friendly and always have time to chat with me when I’m waiting for my coffee. The customers here are super friendly as well. My favorite coffee is the iced twix flavored one, but I also like their lime rickeys. The coffee here is super cheap, around $ 2 – 3 for a bucket!

Breakfast sandwiches are great, but there is a line out the door and one the employees named Devon? Is carrying on a lengthy personal conversation off to the side while the other two girls are in the weeds trying to keep up. Customer service doesn’t seem to be a priority, employees all seem miserable like they don’t want to be there and over 15 minutes from time in the door to the time I walked out just for a sandwich.

You can go wrong getting your coffee here, so many flavored to choose from and it’s not from sryups. Make it a point to stop by and grab one

I’ve been going here for years and can honestly say they have the best selection of coffee flavors. When the coffee is good, it’s the best coffee around. However, lately the quality has been sacrificed… The last few months every coffee I got has been watery. My guess is their great reputation means they can water down the coffee, save money, and still make a killing. Or maybe it’s unknowingly being made that way-who knows. I really want to give this 5 stars and be able to come here all the time, so I hope the watery coffee comes to an end!

Eh not a real coffee shop… more of a place that serves sugar with some coffee. A better idea would be to walk five extra minutes to Java house, you won’t be disappointed there!

I normally like my mocha on the sweeter side, but due to a recent healthier trend, I decided to try the Almond Joy Iced Mocha with just cream. Woah, amazing coffee, great flavor and enough caffeine to keep up sharp and running for 5 hours! The service is super quick and definitely walking to the store, everybody around the block has a nice tall cup. Definitely would recommend, though beware cash only!

whattttt?! This shit is so fucking good. Came here yesterday after the beach & some chic was like«if you have never been here before let me make you one…» I got some coffee drink with soy milk in it and was fucking to die for. I have never had a coffee this good, it honestly is like crack. apparently its sugar free(wtf?) which seems strange but certainly a nice treat. you feel like you are in a Good Will Hunting movie walking into this place; it’s the epitome of Southie but their coffee is fucking delicious and their service is great. Also, their cups have a lot of firmness to them(that is what he said) which is kinda cool and better that your dumb dunkin donuts cup. will be back! xoxo

It’s fine! If you really like flavored coffee, I bet this place is way more exciting. The staff was really friendly. The coffee was very tasty. But I’m not a huge flavored coffee person, and that is really the main reason to come here.

Best iced coffee I’ve ever encountered. Mocha flavors are sweet, or you can go regular flavors which you can add sugar/milk at your discretion. Breakfast sandwiches are pretty good too– better than boston bagel company. Only negatives are it’s cash-only, and parking can get tricky. Other than that, this place is perfect.

Always friendly service. Consistent quality in food and service. If you don’t like it sweet, get a regular iced coffee. If you like it sweet, get mocha based. All the flavors are yummy, you cant go wrong! Food is also delicious and made to order. The line may be long sometimes but their service is quick and friendly. You wont be in there for more than 10 minutes on a busy day. It takes 2 seconds when its not busy. Just remember it is CASHONLY :)

This is the basket robbins of coffee… It has so many awesome flavors, from mint chocolate chip to toasted marshmallows to strawberry hazelnut… the combinations are endless! The iced coffees are $ 2.50 and $ 3.50 for the supersized. They also have a small selection of pastries, typically 4 types of muffins for $ 2.15 and coffee cakes and brownies for $ 1.65. There is always a wait during the weekend but the line goes quickly.

HAVECASHREADYINHAND. Heard great things about this place mainly via people posting pics of their coffee cups on instagram. And for some odd reason, the logo makes me think chinese food rather than coffee lol. Was sorta kinda in the neighborhood and decided to get some for the bf and I. Let me state that if you’ve found parking on that street than you’re a lucky one because it was impossible and double parking was even taken! He waited in the car while I ran across the street. The wait was not bad at all but I went on a Sunday afternoon, I’ve seen reviews mention that it’s out the doors on the weekends so keep that in mind. The menu can be a bit ridonkulous!!! I mean how many flavors can you come up plus specials of the day as well. They’ve separated their coffees into mocha based and non-mocha based. Bf got the nutty irishman which has an irish cream base along with cream/sugar and a hint of cinnamon if I remember correctly. For me, I did the PS Special since it was my frist time. The coffee was great! I mean I usually like black/sugar coffee but indulge in sweet coffee once in a while. A lot of flavor going on with the PS Special: cream, sugar, cinnamon and like 3 other flavors that the cashier named but I didnt register. Their coffees are really sweet so make sure you mention that you’d like it dark or sweet. Prices are great because it was $ 2.50 for basically a medium size coffee thats comparable to Dunkins. I’ll have to keep coming back every sunday to try all of the flavors!

Blown away by what most would consider a hole in the wall coffee shop if you drove by. They have a wide variety of sweet flavored coffees that are high in calories and and also in flavor. I went with the Nutty Bar and it was delicious, I think it was a peanut butter and chocolate flavor. Service, even with the long lines is pretty efficient.

I’m addicted to this coffee! I wish they had more locations! It’s convenient on the weekends, but not on a weekday morning drive to work when you are craving a delicious bucket sized iced coffee that will help get you through the day. Favorite flavors: PS Special, Nutty Bar, Almond Joy. I usually stick to the same flavors because I crave it but I should give some of the other flavors a try.
