Really good quick service — everyone who was working there was quick to take a plate or bowl and replenish our drinks. The phở was as good as the next guy, same thing with the price. I primarily like them because of the great service!

Very yummy. Service is wonderful except they gave me a fork because I was Caucasian but not anyone else in our party. The pork meatball spring rolls are to die for and I got the Phở special. Very good…

Average Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered beef with vermicelli noodles and my mother ordered chicken over rice. The meats got switched on the plates and the waiter just said«it’s the same thing» without offering to correct the meal. It was decent, nothing too special.

Overcharged and charged extra for takeout. In total extra charges came to $ 3. They claimed it was all part of a new menu and the old menus don’t reflect this. Would not allow us to return the food. NEVER will come back here, NEVER. Will actively discourage everyone I know to come here. This place is shady AF.

AWFUL service. This was my father’s go to phở restaurants. Ordered vegetarian spring rolls and vegetarian phở. I am vegan so I need to make sure that the broth is indeed vegetarian, and when I asked, she said«yeah yeah» with an attitude. I didn’t make a big deal with the attitude that we were already getting, but they made us wait 30 – 35 mins for the spring rolls that requires NO cooking, and when I asked another waiter regarding my vegetarian phở, he said that the phở order was never placed in. My dad was more furious than I was and we ended up just eating spring rolls and leaving. Message to my girl server: I understand that being a server is hard, but please cut the attitude or just quit the job. The food there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good though… What a bummer.

Just finished a delicious lunch. Had a stake and flank meet Phở, and a hot clay bowl with rice, chicken and shrimp. Both were very good! Great flavour, perfect size dishes and they came out fast. Yum!

My SO and I were looking for a place to eat for lunch today. We had a double stroller and our twins with us so we had to take into consideration a restaurant that had space to accommodate that. We came upon this place. We were just hungry and weren’t too picky about where to eat so we settled on this restaurant. I should mention that I have eaten here before and in my past experience the food was… okay. When we entered there for lunch, there were already a few tables seated which is a good sign for obvious reasons. We were greeted and then seated where there was space to accommodate our long stroller. It was out of the way of the aisles. I was grateful for that because I would hate to be in anyone’s way. I ordered an iced coffee as soon as I sat down because being a mom of twins is hard work and I need my caffeine lol. Our waiter was a little overzealous for a lack of a better term. He literally stood there hoovering over us while we made a decision. There was a slight language barrier, but we were able to understand each other nonetheless. I ordered shrimp summer rolls for an appetizer and as an entrée I got the rice dish with Vietnamese pancake, grilled pork, shredded pork and fried egg on top. My SO ordered the chicken curry with rice. My favorite I have to say was the summer rolls with the peanut sauce. The sauce is delectable and a perfect combo of whatever it is made with. The other entrees were meh. The curry sauce looked weird and by weird I mean it had the right color, but the consistency of a watered down aloe vera. It’s hard to explain. If you’ve ever seen the product straight from a aloe vera plant you know what I’m talking about. Anyways it shouldn’t look like that, but he liked it so I guess it was ok. The grilled pork was tender and had the right amount of seasonings. Now this is where the rest of the plate fell apart for me. The shredded pork was cold and tasted close to expiring. The Vietnamese pancake was also cold and had little to no taste. The pickled vegetables which is what ties the dish together for me again tasted old and flavorless. What a disappointment. The three stars accounted for the attentive service and for the summer rolls and iced coffee. One thing I suggest they add to this restaurant is a changing table. My daughter had a blowout and being that they didn’t have a changing table, I literally had to change her right there at the table. I was uncomfortable doing that as I’m sure the other diners/workers were too. But to my credit, I did try to hide/do it as fast as much as I possibly could. Also I would like to add that we were given the bill while I was halfway through eating. I mean my SO was done so I guess they thought I was too. Overall I probably wouldn’t be back, but maybe just for the service

Loved this place! I ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and vegetarian noodle soup with tofu and both were absolutely delicious. The service was a bit slow, but it was a Saturday night and the place was packed. We ordered Thai tea just after sitting down and it didn’t arrive until we were done with our meals, but the staff was thoughtful enough to put them into to-go cups before they came to our table. I’ll definitely eat here again.

The service was correct and fast. Good Phò(I got the chicken one) and of course it comes with basil leaves and soy sprouts. Good price for lunch and not too crowded.

— the phở was good — other than that the remaining wasn’t good — they should sell only phở and related stuff — service was okay

I come here at least once every week for work. I usually get the Phở Tai or Com Suong or Vermicelli. All are delicious. My only thing is that the beef they use for the Phở could be more tender but otherwise it really hits the mark. Broth is delicious. The com suong(rice with pork) is great. Flavorful and grilled perfectly. Vermicelli dishes are good but I wish they had a bit more. Then again I eat like a vulture. The other day my sister got Bun Bo Hue and it was so good! Not overly spicy. Broth is light. I could have devoured all of that. The shrimp spring rolls here are pretty good too. Nothing overly glamorous but it fulfills the cravings. Their peanut sauce is a good compliment. I just wish they had chopped nuts in it. The service during lunch is very good. I will order and the food will come out under ten minutes. I am a big fan of this place. It is my go to when I am craving Vietnamese food.

This place is a very solid Vietnamese restaurant. The atmosphere is pretty typical for restaurants in Chinatown. I got the Bun Bo Hue Special, a thicker noodle Phở that I always get at Phở places. One good thing I learned is that they can increase the size of the order for you for a few dollars, most places only has size option on certain phos. The phở was very tasting and inexpensive, just like how a great phở place should be, will definitely return.

Awful. I ordered a dish«#77» based on the image on the menu, which displayed four slices of tomato, four cucumber slices, a bed of rice, chicken, and leaves of lettuce. What I actually got was a sad mix of two thin, tiny cucumber slices, one tomato slice, and chicken that looked completely different. When I asked the waiter why it was such a different dish from what was shown on the menu, I got a half-hearted apology and no offer to correct it(ie bring more veggies). False advertising /bait-and-switching on this scale is pretty atrocious, even by the standards of a low-frills phở house.

*** 3⁄2015 visit *** Prices for each of our chosen dishes were $ 8.95, mine being the pork and fried springroll vermicelli bowl. Yup, I ate it all. A dc’s tomato soup with its fried tofu and pork topped noodles looked yummy — might have to give that a go sometime. *** 6⁄2015 visit *** Wild woman that I am, I strayed and selected #56 Hu Tieu Mi Phuc Kien $ 8.95 Phuc Kien Style ~ rice and egg noodle, fish cake, pork paste, sliced pork, imitation crab meat, squid and fried shrimp on pastry for my lunch. It was a goodly portion of the stated meats, particularly in comparison to a recent dis-satisfactory pork and seafood experience at New Dong Khang. It was quite good! My traditional faves are now $ 8.95, with the exception of the stir fried noodles which starts at $ 9.50. They still offer Seven Courses of Beef. Only now it is $ 45.95 for the two person meal. The fish variation is available for the same price. *** 11⁄2015 visit *** I ordered the #70 pork chop rice plate $ 8.95 and ate it all up. Yeah, my two pork chops were a bit petite compared to the single chop I spied on another plate with the shredded pork skin and Vietnamese omelette, same price.

We had a nice lunch at Phở Hoa. Service was quick and friendly, and the apps(fresh spring rolls, and Vietnamese pancake) was very fresh and good. Partner had chicken Phở, and I had the pork and shrimp bun. The bun was a good portion but only 2 shrimp, which were butterflied and not peeled. So it was a bit messy to eat. The pork was tender and flavorful. I would certainly return. The bathroom are very old and gross. Not dirty but very old and in dire need need to updating.

Ehh I thought this place was so-so. Beef broth wasn’t that great but acceptable along with sizing. Thought the Sriracha bottles were a bit nasty since they looked really old and not replaced, just refilled. What really stuck out was the décor. Dim and more calm compared to Phở Pasteur if you’re not looking for a busy place!

This was a homage visit for my wife’s old med school eatery. Since I didn’t know her then and never lived in Boston I had to try what she use to have all the time! After hearing about this place for a while, I must say it was just okayyyyyyyy. I thought it would be better due to its prime real estate, but the broth is aight and didn’t pack that delicious rich phở punch for me. The place was pretty busy though.

Phở Hoa is a good standby for tasty soup. I enjoy this setting to some of the other restaurants. The seating area seems more spacious & the windows make it bright inside. Service isn’t the best, but it isn’t the worst, usually you have to catch their attention if you need anything, but they’re pretty quick and pleasant. The phở tai nam gau I ordered doesn’t have tripe, and that’s ok by me. The broth was flavorful and not too oily, good portion of meats & veggies. I also got the egg rolls and fish sauce to dip them in, they came out on the luke warm side, but they were still tasty, not burnt or too greasy. My order came to ~$ 13. Under $ 10 it’s cash only.

Phở Hoa, a new venture because Phở Pasteur had a line going out the door on a Friday at lunchtime. I’m never in the city on a weekday at lunchtime so naturally, I had no idea where would be packed/busy. My friend and I sauntered over to Phở Hoa and waited about 10 minutes for a table. We were seated and we perused the menu quickly… we both wanted phở with beef and veggies, and that’s what we both ordered. The broth was very tasty and delicious. I, of course, doused my phở in sriracha and black pepper. This girl wanted spice. The beef and brisket were cooked well, and we were phở-eva happy. I know my husband couldn’t eat here because they didn’t feature anything vegetarian on the menu. I checked just to see just in case I wanted to bring him here for food at some point. Tip: Arrive early and check in with the lady at the front desk if you come during the lunch rush.
