Coffee is good. Space is comfy. Bagels leave much to be desired, and I’m not that picky about my bagels. I’ve tried a few variants: bagel sandwich, bagel and cream cheese, plain bagel to go. But sadly each time I’m left thinking that frozen bagels from the grocery store taste better. I’ll come back for coffee, but that’s it.

Pretty good coffee, tried the Iced Mint Latte. The pistachio muffin was just okay. Not many places that deliver on both great coffee and great food, this place falls short on the food. Good amount of seating, there were quite a few people hanging out working on computer.

After shopping at the nearby supermarket or Target, the coffee is the best in the area. Due to the free WiFi, lots of students are there on their laptops but usually spots open up. Service is fast and friendly.

If you find yourself in the Fenway area, in need of some fuel and about to hit the Pavement make sure it’s this one! Low key, hipster vibe coffee shop a couple blocks down from historic Fenway park. They offer all of the coffee snob and not-so coffee snob staples with an unpretentious crew of hipster millenial baristas at your service. I started my morning off right with a Papua New Guinea Aeropress, a delicious cup of coffee. My colleague had the cold brew and he was pleased– a not-so-easy feat since he can be harder to please than Mariah Carey! For food we both opted for the everything bagel, I chose the garlic/cheese cream cheese while he kept it plain. The bagel definitely hit the spot– it was toasted just right with a nice soft texture. Definitely worth looking into if you’re in the area.

Great place. Friendly and helpful behind the counter. I wanted a mocha cap, but you’re limited to either a cappuccino or mocha. Guys behind the counter created a little piece of deliciousness for me. Food menu is somewhat limited but with an intimate, modern but cozy little spot, it’s perfect. Don’t feel bad sitting at a table with someone on their laptops, it’s the norm here. Garlic & Chive cream cheese was fabulous. Highly recommended.

I ducked in to get out of a chilly day and have a delicious cup of coffee. Accomplished! I was in the mood for some pastry, but at 5pm there wasn’t a big selection so I skipped it. I was only here once so I probably wouldn’t have even rated it, but I just read someone complaining about their excessive charge for wifi if you stay longer than an hour. Good. There were only three seats available when I got there. There wasn’t conversation, just people on laptops. Coffee houses are not designed to be a place where you spend six hours writing your next 15 page paper… that’s the purpose of your school’s library. This is a business that needs to turn a profit.

This is a great cozy place to study. Unfortunately, many people have discovered the coffe house and it does get pretty full on weekends. They make cute coffee drinks and sandwiches are offer a lot of local products. I will be back again, but probably will try for a weekday!

Pricey, but one of the few decent coffee shops in Fenway. The fight for outlets is real though, since only a few tables have them. Much less packed than the Pavement near Hynes and NEU so if you live in the area this would be a better option to avoid long lines, scarce seating and loud hipsters.

The music is great, and food is delicious. They offer healthy, vegan alternatives. I love the«Hello Lila» sandwich. Staff is hipstery and very friendly. I don’t know why people on here have commented on the staff being«hipster» like, I mean, they are awesome. They’re always polite. I’ve never been given an attitude or a roll of the eye. For some reason, the hipster guys who work here are super efficient and friendly. I give them all kuddos for making my lunch breaks enjoyable. Working at Fenway Health, there’s few options in the area for good coffee and good food. Although it’s a little on the pricey side, you pay for what you get: great quality and even better service.

There are a lot of hipsters in the US. More per capita than any other country I’d hazard a guess. Anyway, this is was hipsterish — and in that vibe I had me a vegan raspberry scone, I got an odd look when I asked for butter with it… is that a hipster thing I wonder… eating a dry scone? Scone was good, cappuccino wasn’t bad but the latte art was better than the taste of the coffee.

They took forever to get me my tea, taking care of several customers I was ahead of. Not very apologetic. Sandwich was mediocre for 8 bucks. There were no seats so I had to eat outside on a cold day.

I’ve stopped by several times to try a few different coffee drinks and it just isn’t working for me. The coffee is just too bitter for me and just didn’t sit in my stomach right. It is a popular place with a great interior and it is always crowded when I show up. This seems to cause confusion every time I am there. I know this can’t be the case every day or people wouldn’t love this place, but it never fails that my coffee takes double the time to make than other places. This place is a great spot in the Fenway, but just not my cup of coffee.

Have been looking for a cozy café to study near school and I have to say I am a fan of Pavement! Very soothing atmosphere with plenty of seating options(window seating, outdoor seating, communal table seating, etc) for whatever mood you’re in! I also enjoyed the music since they had a nice chill playlist going on when I was there. Ordered: –The Grange: turkey, cranberry chutney, smoked Gouda, tomato, lettuce on 7 grain bread. Definitely more filling than I thought it would be and I loved how the sweet cranberry chutney complemented the smoked gouda perfectly! Great sandwich and would definitely order again :) –Iced Chai Latte: it wasn’t until later that I saw that they had a seasonal apple cider drink, which I would’ve definitely loved to try, but the chai latte was refreshing too! There wasn’t a very potent cinnamon taste to it like other cafes, which I appreciated — very smooth and light. Overall, great spacious place with a peaceful atmosphere in the Fenway area to study and enjoy a good meal! I will be back for more :)

It’s a bit loud in the morning, big space in a great location to the surrounding Fenway area! Lots to choose from and coffees, teas, scones! We had the sunrise and everything bagels! Well visit again soon.

This is excellent. Especially for a Boston coffee shop in the middle of often-mobbed Fenway. Feels spacious and airy. Great baked goods and sandwiches. And, it’s all about the«Death Cream» a cold brew iced coffee amended with cream and vanilla syrup. Also, two hours of free WiFi, at least for now, and amazing music. Whoever is DJing has great taste.

Pavement Café is a wonderful place to grab your coffee /tea of choice on the go or chill away with your trusty Mac. Today, I tried out their very own cayenne ginger ale ! The syrup is made locally and added to soda water over ice. So damn refreshing. Do stop by for a taste.

I really like this place. I thought I was kind of over coffee shops at this point. I still like a place I can get a cup of coffee and a bite to eat that isn’t a huge chain, but otherwise, I feel like I’ve seen it all. But I am in love with Pavement. It just feels like a breath of fresh air in an area that really needed a café. It def. has a hipster vibe but it’s not obnoxious. It has a really calm ambience/décor, a lot of seating, and the staff have always been really friendly. Just yesterday, I ordered a small drink and the barista made me the next size up! He told me about it so I don’t think it was a mistake. Just someone offering good service(I had mentioned how I come in all the time, so perhaps he’s rewarding my loyalty). They offer almond milk as a dairy and soy alternative, which is a necessity for me, and also offer some vegan pastries. Try the pistachio muffins(not vegan). They are so rich and moist! Every time I’m at Fenway Health for an appt., I pop over for a muffin and a chai, which by the way, is also excellent. They use their own spice blend and it’s a perfect balance of spicy and creamy/sweet, just perfect for dunking a muffin. The food menu is small but has just enough. Breakfast sandwiches are that really tasty. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Plenty of healthy choices, inc. sandwiches/salads w/kefir cheese(awesome!) but also plenty of meat and cheese type of sandwiches. The chicken sandwich w/the blue cheese is a little too heavy on the cheese in my opinion, but the smoke salmon plate is lovely. All in all, I’ve def. found my new favorite coffee shop.

Just opened! Service is super friendly, I suppose they are excited from opening so recently. Probably my favourite out of all the pavement in terms is space and lighting. Coffee is just as good as any of the other pavement locations. Definitely checking this place out a lot in the next few weeks!

I stopped by on a Sunday morning and thought it was a great space! I love how open it is. –Great seating –Great iced coffee –Great service I didn’t go to use their wifi — but I wonder if their thinking is they’d rather people come to a coffee spot to hang, interact, read, etc — rather than be stuck on their internet devices. If that’s some of the reasoning, I’m all for that.
