This is one of my favorite stops along Newbury Street. It’s bright and airy, with a huge exhibit space and friendly, knowledgeable staff. They let me be when I’m just looking but are very attentive when I have questions. They also have an immense collection with some real gems. I recommend it for the serious collector or as a pleasant diversion the next time you’re on Newbury Street.

The people who work here are rude. We were kicked out after spending 20 minutes in a room admiring art. I love the art, but the employees ruined the experience, unfortunately. There are plenty of other art galleries where visitors are welcome and treated with respect. Terrible customer service.

Lichtensteins, Picassos, Chagalls, Warhols and many many more! This chain art gallery(with other locations in Beverly Hills, Chicago, New York, SF, LA, Dallas, etc.) has a great selection of pieces from established and renowned artists making it more like a tiny museum. The bathroom door is rounded on the top — very«Alice in Wonderland», adored that! Two floors have wide open spaces featuring more well-known artists with comfortable couches to faciliate love affairs with the priceless pieces. Small rooms feature lesser-known artists and each one has a small couch providing for a very intimate setting in which to reflect, talk, make out… whatever. The woman was very friendly and just gave me space to roam free around the gallery. Before you start recalling leud images of a black comedian from Bad Boys II(which actually had me in sporadic fits of giggles throughout my tour), get past the name and pay a visit to the Martin Lawrence Art Gallery. It’s worth the visit, if not a reprieve from a long day of shopping on Newbury.
