The morning after New Years was very pleasant. My friend and I took an über to Allston and were very surprised that there wasn’t a line. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Our drink order was taken very quickly. I had the Bellini and some coffee. Do I denote a hint of cinnamon in this morning joe? Nice touch!
This is a great place to people watch. We found the environment to be fast paced and still friendly.
Our servers were great! They cleared our plates in a timely manner, offered us refills and apologized for the wait.
The white trash has was sex on a plate. Unfortunately not mine, I ordered the protein omelette. Still quite delicious! Something needed after a night of drinking.
This is a cool local place good for people watching and having a good time with either friends or family!

This place is a solid pub in Allston. Playing up to the hipster vibe, including offering a hipster wrap, the food was made to order with high quality ingredients to accompany an expansive draft beer list. They also had a cocktail list, but the restaurant only has a soft liquor license so all the alcohol has some sort of fruit variation, or something to that effect.
I had the Manwich, essentially a gourmet sloppy joe with grilled pickles, a homemade cheese sauce with some ranch infused tots. The sandwich was great, I didn’t really care for the tots, but to be fair tots in general are not my thing. I also had the pretzels as a starter and they came up piping hot and were a good starter.
My buddy had the «bad ass» burger that came with a plethora of toppings and he loved it. He’s also a picky eater so that says something.
Only possible downside was the service was slow at times, even though we were at the bar. Only one bartender was on for most of our dinner, but then I think a manager came to help and it picked up.
I’ll definitely be back.

Really good beer selection. Like how am I going to decide what beer to drink good. Like, I’m having a conundrum, what do I do. And then you look at the prices and sizes and you say OK maybe we’ll dial it back a little.
It’s not that its awful, its just. This is Allston. And they serve good beer all over Boston, Somerville, and Cambridge. The bar itself is nice, very chic. But it lacks much character. I guess the fact is, its just not my style, it feels like just another bar.
But still… great beer selection.
I haven’t tried the food but I hear its good.

My wife and I are big fans of this place. Nice vibe, excellent food and an even better beer list.
We haven’t been for a tap takeover yet, but that will be happening sooner rather than later.

Secret sauces are enticing — a chance for a restaurant to shine. Too bad I only got a thin layer of indistinguishable sauce on my quinoa burger. The burger itself tasted fine — nothing to write home about but decent. I switched out fries for cajun tater tots, which were abundant — everything was served on a cafeteria tray, bringing me back to my days as a wee elementary schooler. Cute presentation, decent food. Not bad, not great. Friend ordered the Lulu burger, which she didn’t love (didn’t stand out and was unimpressive).
We ordered a flatbread with peaches, goat cheese, basil and balsamic vinaigrette on it. Dish overall was shy of hitting great notes. Peaches already made it sweet, they could have done with more herb, less balsamic drizzle (which made it too sugary), and a little more goat cheese. Didn’t taste any truffle whatsoever. Not great if you’re looking for savory, ok for a sweet tooth.
Drinks are solid. If you’re looking for spicy beer, come here — packs a good heat!
Service — it was a busy Saturday night, but we had food/​drinks incorrectly delivered to our table twice and it was difficult flagging our waitress down (took us 3 tries at least). Also took a long time to put our order in. Not timely in checking in on us for garnishes after food was delivered. I get that it gets busy but on top of that it took us a long time to ask for our receipt, and then when split was incorrectly rung up. She was sweet, but there were a lot of glitches in service overall. Something to keep in mind. Maybe it was just that one night, who knows. Still a turnoff. Friendliness level from overall staff is good, though (hostess, bouncer).
Overall, since I’m now seeing the rave reviews for brunch, I wouldn’t mind checking it out if someone else planned a date. I just wouldn’t go out of my way to come back for dinner.

Have eaten here twice, once for dinner and twice for brunch.
Today our service was terrible. I ate with a group of 8 and only ⁶⁄₈ of our orders were forgotten about. In addition, it took a good 30 minutes to get water. I don’t mind having to wait a while for my food if a place is busy, but bringing water in a timely manner and putting it every single order should be a given. However, they redeemed themselves by giving our table free donuts and the meals that were forgotten about were on the house.
The food is hit or miss. Today I had mini waffles which tasted like freezer waffles. Last time I went I had s’more pancakes which were far superior. The drink selection however is always on par, they have a good selection of beers and cocktails.
