There chicken nachos are my go to everytime I go there. Big tortilla chips filled with cheesy bean goodness. Shout out to their atol de elote, burritos, and quesadillas as well! The owners are always very nice when I go. I have never had a problem with my orders and there have been ALOT of orders. Trust me. They just expanded to Chelsea as well so if your ever in the area go give them a shot. You will not be disappointed!

I live up the street from Los Pinos and I was super bummed when they closed for a month. They have since re-opened and it doesn’t get much better than Los Pinos. My favorites include the tacos and the tres leches cake for dessert! It’s mostly take out, but there are tables to sit down at. Try them, you won’t regret it!

I lived around the corner from this restaurant my entire life. When I was a little boy, it used to be a convenience store. When I was a teenager and early-20’s, it used to be a nice little Italian Restaurant(called«Victor’s Mother Angela»). Then(when I was in my late 20’s), we had the Latino Invasion into East Boston, and nothing has been«the same» since. Los Pinos has been around for quite a few years and is my favorite. It is owned by a(very) hard working family from El Salvador. They open up the gates to the front door early and don’t lock them back up until about 11:00PM. They are really nice people. Their customers are pretty nice and easy-going as well. The photos you see are of the countless warmed serving trays they have available throughout the day. I have those maybe once a year, when I’m pressed for time, or just got back from a trip to New York and am too tired to wait for their«regular menu» items. I usually have shrimp quesidilla, but they make it fresh, so have a seat and try to follow whatever’s on TV. Lately I have been going on Sunday nights, when they are playing the Latino version of «Dancing With The Stars». The food is perfect here. Living in East Boston, I like to venture to the(countless) varied Latino restaurants… but Los Pinos is my favorite. They have some of the sweetest employees. They are even better than most of the Latino restaurants in Maverick Square! After my order has been called out as ready, I always go into the dessert fridge next to the cashier to get a treat before paying.

This place is the best! We order delivery atleast once a week. The food is ridiculously cheap(3 tacos, quesadilla and chips and salsa for under $ 20 and that includes tip!) and really fresh. The portions are really good and great for sharing. Hint to newbies: always make sure to order your guac, sour cream, salsa separately. Sometimes it comes w the order and sometimes it doesn’t. Regardless, we absolutely LOVE this place!

3.5 rating I was going to try a different place for breakfast but I kept seeing people stream into here so I thought it would be a better choice. Wise decision. The woman helping me was so nice as I slowly asked question after question about the food. I decided on huevos rancheros and a papusa. The huevos rancheros came with some cheese, plantains, and a tortilla. The papusa was filled with pork and cheese. The eggs were okay. I perfer eggs that have runny yokes and since these were not I just ate the whites. The cheese was crumbly and salty which was a nice compliment of of the sweet tomato sauce the eggs were in. I love plantains and the flavor and texture of these were great. My favorite thing was the papusa. Ripping it apart showed off the pork and cheese center. The pork was tender, shredded, and seasoned well. This was a great breakfast to start off a Sunday.
