I don’t often fly out of Terminal B, but took the recent occasion to have lunch at Legal before flying out. I know locals have other favorites, but I’ve never had a bad meal at any Legal Seafood, and this was no exception. They had ample seating at the windows, if you like to watch the planes come and go, and the service was very fast and on point. I had the Crab Roll, which was excellent, and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I rarely pass up eating at a Legal when I’m in town.

(This review is for the Legal Seafood inside security in Terminal B.) We had two lobster rolls, a dozen littlenecks and a Bloody Mary. The clams were very good, fresh and clean. They weren’t shucked very well, a bit torn at times with poor removal from the shell. However, the taste was 100% good. The lobster rolls were also 100%. I have a salty palate and so did add some salt, but they weren’t truly under seasoned. The meat was cooked just to done without any chewiness that lobster easily gets when overcooked even slightly. The mayo dressing was very nice also, light with some green onion, and didn’t overwhelm the lobster. The roll was toasted in butter too, which is my favorite way to have a lobster roll. The coleslaw and fries were fine too. The Bloody Mary was not very good however, it tasted watery and weak. The service was good. The market price of the lobster roll was $ 28.95.

The Fried food was not good. In fact is was terrible and way over priced. I paid $ 40 for a plate of greasy terrible tasting fried clams. I could ring the grease out of the fries. I left half my plate. I still can’t get the bad greasy taste out of my mouth. They need to change the oil more often. The fried clams and fries were terrible. Clam chowder is the best. Get it, you can’t go wrong. Avoid the rest of the greasy slop. I’ve had better Cole slaw at hot dog stands.

What is your best food option pre-security at Terminal B? Legal Seafood wins: The generous firm and flavorful lobster meat hugged in a toasted bun was blissful. A perfect combination with the complimentary crisp and fresh house salad… How much is the price of paradise in your mouth? $ 30 market price pre-tip… The service was efficient and friendly. The décor was a clean modern bistro style. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back. I am also looking forward to try their other locations in Burlington, Boston, etc.

When in Boston grab a lobster roll. It’s a must! If waiting for your flight and your stomach grumbles. Make a stop at Legal Sea Foods. The bread was warm and toasted. The lobster was piled high, however it was cold and slightly chewy. I wish there was an option to have it without the mayo consistency. I was not amazed and I left wished it was better. It came with Cape Cod Kettle chips and a side of Cole Slaw. The Cole slaw was nothing extraordinary. It was simple and basic. Pretty pricey anywhere between ~$ 25 to ~$ 35 for the lobster roll. It is based on the market price. I opted for my lobster roll to go. Service is relatively fast. Although it was not busy when I visited.

Flight got delayed so what the heck I thought«Treat yo self!» Looked up good places to eat in the airport and since I’m in Boston of course I’m gonna get some lobster. Fresh steam lobster at market price was $ 26, WITH your choice of 2 sides(what a steal!) — I got the broccoli(which was soggy) and onion strings(which are thin onion rings and super good). Of course I dug out every last bit of meat out of that lobster. YUM! Service was slow, probably because they were closing. The waitress kept hinting at me that they were closing soon, not very attentive.

5 stars for the atmosphere! 3 stars for the food. 4 seemed like a happy medium. Gorgeous view of Boston harbor, beautifully decorated with an open kitchen, which is always night. Looks like an upscale restaurant, but has a more casual/comfortable feel to it. Cocktails are OK. I tried all of the drinks at our table, and I wasn’t overly impressed with any of them, but non of them turned me off. Linguine and clams were to die for, but the fish and chips left me wishing that they were a little more moist and tender, and that the batter had more flavor.

Great lobster salad and clam chowder. convenient location to the B gates. Got the seafood trio over salad(they customize!) and it was delicious! Fresh and really generous portions of seafood(~$ 21). The clam chowder is also creamy and full of flavor yet not overly salty. On the pricey side but considering we are at an airport, very high caliber food. Staff is nice and courteous. I love sitting at the bar and enjoying the runway view before a flight.

Flight at Logan was delayed… we were hungry and thirsty. Went in for oysters, appetizers and drinks. Food was great! Drinks were great! Service was good. A little tight as far as room… but hey… it was the airport and there were a lot of delayed flights. So we were not the only people with the idea at 6pm. Good job Legal Sea Foods for offering some tired, hungry and thirsty travelers something to smile about!!!

I love pretty much all legal seafoods because for a chain, they really have good quality down. I stopped by this morning as I was hung over from the previous night’s activities… and stopped by to get a clam chowder and crab roll(trust me. it’s better than the lobster roll). They were super fast and I am eating it right now as I fly back… Good job Legal Seafoods and I am so glad you are out of the American terminal now! Oh. and super nice trendy seating. Love it!

I haven’t tried a Legal Sea Foods for years. After walking 6 miles through the airport for work I craved some clam chowder. The hostesses are incredibly friendly and seat you as soon as you walk in. I saw at least 3 helping to seat customers. My waitress was efficient and cordial enough. I felt very mixed about my meal — a mug of New England clam chowder and the Jasmine Shrimp. I incorrectly supposed I was splurging on the soup and going light on the entrée. Oh so wrong. Their chowder fully deserves its reputation. Rich, creamy and bursting with sweet tender clams served with a packet of Legal’s own oyster crackers. I wondered that they only offered it in one size — a mug for $ 6.95. Turns out that’s all you need. I was filling up before I reached the bottom of the cup with only half of the crackers. It also gets saltier the more spoonfuls you eat. Very satisfying on an empty stomach all by itself! The shrimp on the other hand proved a rather disappointing choice. They layer tons of mozzarella cheese and some tartar like sauce(I hate tartar sauce) over 4 otherwise great jumbo shrimp and a cup or two of jasmine rice lined with broccoli florets. I scraped as much as I could from the broccoli and shrimp for an astonishing $ 17.95. I should have gone with the market priced fried clams — but for $ 18.95? They lose a star for the epic pricing but get two for service with a Bostonian flair. Do yourself a favor and stick with the chowder either in or to go.

Overall 4.5÷5 round down due to how close everything is… Food 5⁄5 Service 5⁄5 Store 3⁄5 Like what everyone has said, do not let the name, chain, deter you from this place. They prob offer one of the freshest seafood you can find anywhere. Ironically this place is located in terminal of an airport! This place is relatively close to the gates, has modern seating(nice but a bit crammed), and you can watch the airplanes leave. Additionally, the staff was extremely nice and tentative. I ordered the lobster roll. It was MSRP at $ 27 with no tip or tax. BUT it was well worth it. It was the best lobster roll I have ever had. It comes with cole slaw and some fries. The roll is bursting with sooooooo much lobster(i was lobstered out after it). The roll was properly buttered and was a decent size considering the massive lobster you are getting. This lobster roll is not to heavy as there was a perfect balance of butteryness and freshness. The lobster was extremely fresh, no brinyness, sweet and perfect. The own thing is for almost $ 30, I would expect it too be cooked perfectly as few pieces were over cooked. Nonetheless, if your not looking for something to heavy, got $$$$, have some time to enjoy a nice meal maybe drinks(they have top shelf bar), come here. Its the best food in this airport! Cheers!

I appreciate decent food at an airport, so was very pleased to see a Legal Seafood at terminal C. Legal seafood is always good, and they seem to be able to maintain their quality in the airport locatoon. The tuna appetizer was fantastic, and I had the baked haddock, Nice to be able to chill a bit and have a good meal before my four hour flight

The manager is on top of his game at this location helping shuffle people and move it along. The food is standard very good seafood fare that I expect from this chain. When purchasing seafood, always go for what is local. Lobster, oysters, and some of the clams are local, so I recommend sticking to those, they’ve never disappointed at this or other Logan and Boston Legal Seafood locations. Crab is not really local in new england, I never order it at Legal, and I have been unimpressed when tasting dining partner crab dishes. Back to this location — they’ve got all the standards(chowdah, clams, lobstah) down pat, with a good airport service speed. The tables are SMOOSHED together — they really could use a bigger space, but they seem to make it work.

My mom and I were starving while waiting in the Logan Airport for our flight. We decided to come to Legal Sea Foods to get our last dose of Boston seafood while we could. We were seated right away. At first glance of the menu, everything looked delicious. It is mostly seafood, but they do have a chicken sandwich and a couple of burgers to choose from if you’re not a fan of seafood. Also at first glance we noticed how expensive everything was(understandable being as it is a seafood restaurant). Right away I knew I wanted their«famous» clam chowder. But then I was stuck between the lobster roll, crab roll, and the raw shellfish sampler. I narrowed it down between the two rolls and ended up going with the crab roll because I had so many lobster rolls the few days before that. After our food came out and we had our first few bites I was very please with the chowder. There were a decent amount of clams in the soup, which is great. The crab roll on the other hand I was very disappointed in. It was not what I was expecting at all. I was picturing a roll with lump crabmeat in it, but instead this was like shredded crabmeat. I can’t really explain it, but it was very bizarre and the crabmeat had a weird texture. It also was so bland and tasteless. My mom got a cheeseburger and she said that was ok. Maybe I didn’t order the right thing, but I don’t think i’ll be coming back. Too expensive of a place for food to just be «ok.»

They were craaazy busy here, at least when I went, with a long to-go order line comprised of people waiting to order and waiting for orders because there’s so little space. The few tables available were easily snatched up by people waiting on the side so if you can help it, take your to-go order and walk towards the vacant tables in the waiting areas. This white clam chowder was damn delicious. The red chowder was not to my taste but my fiancée liked it. It tasted more like gumbo; I think the spices were similar. We were able to try both because we were accidentally given the red chowder when we ordered the white… They let us keep both so it worked out in our favour as we had been wanting to compare the two anyway for our New England trip and forgot — thanks Legal Sea Foods! It’s pricy but it is airport food after all. Still, good stuff and didn’t taste like airport food. It was good for food-food in general.

On the way home from a weekend in Boston, I was very excited that I would have a chance to have a lobster roll and chowdah before our flight. I would definitely recommend sitting at the bar if you can. You will get full service with your food(instead of eating out of a takeout box) and the obvious benefit is that you can order drinks. I was a man on a mission so I didn’t even really need to see the menu — clam chowder to start and a lobster roll for the main. The servers were extremely nice but it was a strange coincidence that 2 bartenders were both very pregnant. The chowder was nice and creamy and did have a lot of meat, but I wasn’t too thrilled about the texture. The clams were much chewier than what I am used to in a chowder. The lobster roll was actually pretty good. The bread was buttery toasted and chock full of lobster meat. I should have asked what«Market Price» was however since it ended up being $ 29! It was good but definitely not $ 30 good… Of course being an airport establishment there is a price premium and yes I know this is a chain, but I thought the price was a little steep considering how cheaply you can buy lobster in New England.

Wow did this place surprise me! I wasn’t expecting great food in an airport restaurant. I ate here during breakfast so I did not get to try any seafood but from other reviews it sounds like I missed out. I opted for a cup of coffee and the egg sandwich. You can pick the type of bread it comes on and I chose a bagel and boy oh boy was that bagel soft. It stayed soft the entire time I ate the sandwich. The only downfall is that it is an extra .50 for every add on but I still opted in and added tomato to mine. The bartender who was working was also very nice and fast with service.

THISREVIEWISFORTHERESTAURANT/BAR INSIDESECURITYATTERMINAL B. I sat at the bar and was greeted quickly. The staff was nice and attentive. The bar seems to be the only place to get service. I ordered the chowder and three oysters. The chowder was bland, needing salt and even a dash of Tabasco, which I don’t normally do. It was filled with clams, which was great and I ended up picking out most of the potatoes with a fork. The oysters were tasty but I couldn’t shake the feeling that they bought them in bulk and saved the shells to re-serve. The oysters didn’t lay in the shell or even look the right size. Each shell had the telltale murky liquid filled to the brim. They also weren’t connected to the shell in any way. I guess you can get away with that when you’re so close to the ocean. Damn shame though. At $ 3 an oyster, I’m sure they’re making a killing. I ordered a crabmeat roll to go. I have a long flight ahead of me. I’ll report back on it. UPDATE: The crab roll was PHENOMABALLS. Really, really good. Fresh crab, perfect, buttery roll. Sooooo good. They get an extra star.
