Beware the perishable cooler at Gate 41! I reached in to get a yogurt and none of them were cold. Told the employee and she checked the thermometer. Thermometer read around 50 degrees. Her explanation was that the AC wasn’t working as well. Then she closed that section for about 30 minutes. Didn’t do anything with the product — re-opened cooler later.

I got a vitamin water zero, double chocolate muffin, and wheat bagel with cream cheese before my Jet Blue flight. The total came out to ~$ 7.70, so definitely overpriced(but what can you do, it’s an airport). Pros? They have a decent selection of cold drinks, think Gatorade and Vitamin Water and such. Cons? The sandwiches I saw looked very soggy, and the bagel I had desperately needed toasting. It tasted old and store bought, as did the muffin. Luckily I ate outside the gate area before coming in, but if I hadn’t I think I’d be starving and really upset.

Poor selection of vegetarian food. Why no vegetarian sandwiches? And the person who waited on me was unhelpful. Definitely eat before you go through security! Jet Blue, if you have any say in which vendors are located at your gates, please get somebody good here! I didn’t try the coffee, because it did not seem fresh.

I cleared security and I asked the TSA guy if there was a Dunkin inside security. He laughed. He knew what was about to happen to me… The«Lean & Green Gourmet» has truly awful coffee. I don’t have fancy taste in coffee(Dunkin is my ideal), and this was some of the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. If you were a Starbucks /Peet’s aficionado, you would be truly miserable. Oh, and the blueberry muffin was soggy. The small cup of coffee and a small blueberry muffin was almost $ 5. Eat before you go through security!

Service is good. Otherwise it’s overpriced. That being said, it’s also the only place you can get fresh food in the former AirTran area, so if your flight is in C40-C42, make sure you eat before you go through security.

Similar breakfast fare to Dunkin, but worse quality and higher prices. The coffee here is the most watery I’ve ever tasted. The blueberry muffin was adequate but overpriced. I would recommend going to Dunkin instead, but unfortunately if you’re here you’re stuck– they have a monopoly for gates 40 – 42 here at Logan.

I think gourmet, I think foie gras, candlelight, tinkling glass, hushed conversation. I think justified cost and indulgence. What I don’t envision? $ 10 for a dry sandwich containing a single cucumber and two soggy pieces of turkey, washed down with bottled juice from concentrate. Never again, L&G. Never again.
