First and last time ordering from here. Terrible customer service and they play games on the phone when you call to inquire about their extremely LATE delivery service(ie: picking up and hanging up when I say hello or leaving their phone off the hook so you can’t call) NEVERAGAIN. TERRIBLE.

Never again, food was okay, but the delivery(breakfast) took over 2 hours!

Just don’t. This is a place you should reserve for those drunk nights when you can’t find anything else open, and a sweet sauced, slightly raw dough slice of pizza that has probably been sitting around for an hour or two will suffice.

I’ve ordered from them multiple times with no problem, MeatLovers omelet and a side of steak tips. Actually the side of steak tips was THEIR suggestion when I first called for brunch. Lemme tell you the food was great and delivery quick. Today I ordered like I always do… the guy who answered was ANNOYED when I asked what kind of jelly they had for the toast, and my favorite part was how he proceeded to argue with me when I asked for a side of steak tips… THAT I WASPAYINGFOR! He was such a jerk! He never even gave me a total on my meal, and it took ANHOURAND15MINUTES to arrive. The toast wasn’t even toasted and it look like someone mashed their fingers into it. The bacon wasn’t fully cooked either. I posted it on FB for my friends to see. Now if I wanted to get out of the house it could’ve taken me 15 minutes to get to them. I think I am all set ordering from them ever again. An old chinese proverb once said«One joy can shatter a hundred sorrows.» In this case it’s the reverse. Finding a new place to order brunch from. They lost my business for sure.

Please people save your money and get food somewhere else. I ordered a steak combo sub and fries. I waited two hours for my food to arrive when i finally got my food and opened it my mouth dropped. My sub looked like someone sat on it and the sub was cold the bread was old. And on top of that my fries where also cold and looked like they were cooked in the morning and left out all day. Im going to stick with uphams pizza.

I love Laz because it is reasonably priced and there is something for everyone there. Food is always exactly adequate. I always get a greek salad with chicken. Also their pizza and fries are really good. Convenient, unhealthy, and a-ok. Best for take-out or delivery– you don’t want to eat in.

More like a 3.5, but I rounded up. Had lunch there last week. Chicken pesto pasta. Based on the food alone, definitely 4 stars. Very tasty. Nice amount of chicken and roasted red peppers. Pesto was legit and good. The environment was just okay. The floor tile is a weird gray color that looks like even when really clean it would look dirty. It was around 3:00 and just a few customers, but during my 30 minutes there, none of the workers wiped down tables, and one table had dishes left by a customer, that remained there the whole time. I didn’t get a great sense of pride of keeping the place clean and welcoming. But the food was really good, and that’s really what I came for. I’ll be back sometime…

I’m not a big pizza fan but this was THEBEST pepperoni and mushroom pizza! The price was good. Tiny restaurant but worth it if you like pizza.

Their major selling points are that they’re super friendly and open late. They suffer from having a menu that is just too large and quality that is inconsistent. I had nachos that were basically a deep pile of chips with a little undercooked stuff on top. The pizza slices were a good size but just okay tasting. The quesadilla was huge and delicious. I would go back for late night snacks only and stick with what I know they can do well.

After a late night, we ordered from this neighborhood place. The food was promptly delivered, was delicious, in copious quantities, and at a very affordable price. Personally, omelette rollups are my comfort food and this place does it excellently. At a later time, I did walkover to pick up food from here. As a sit-down restaurant the ambience was definitely lacking — the furniture, magazines, etc. looked dated. But again the food I took home was delicious. In the end for me, the food is the crux of any such place and for that I think this place deserves 5 stars.

I used to work near Laz, and have gotten pizza delivered to my home a few times. As a regular customer — I would expect that this place would average 3 – 4 stars… not 1.5 I usually order pizza from here. I like it quite a bit, it’s a favorite. I started ordering 6 years ago — I’ve never been annoyed with them, and often been pleased. Thin crust, big pieces of plum tomato in the sauce, sauce is tangy and flavorful, toppings are — just the usual — but generously provided. Priced right. I’ve gotten salads a couple of times –pretty much not worth it — iceburg lettuce with a smattering of whatever else is to come with that particular salad. Grilled chicken sub is pretty good, as is the roast vegetable sub. Good enough, certainly. The sandwiches are not the least bit better than what I could make with Oscar MEyer and condiments at home.

We’ve ordered from Laz many times and it was usually acceptable cheap mediocre food. We like that the menu has a lot of options including breakfast all day, so it’s convenient when various people in the house want different types of food. This morning we ordered breakfast. I ordered the Spanish omelet, which I’ve gotten before. This time it was missing the cheese and salsa. Dry eggs with peppers in them… not so tasty. We also ordered coffee, which we’ve never done, because we were out of coffee at home. There wasn’t anywhere on the website to specify what condiments we wanted. The coffee arrived with no cream or sugar in the bag, which I didn’t notice until the driver had left. Black coffee and plain eggs… I should have just had dry cereal.

I only have experience with ordering breakfast from here, and I’ve yet to have a bad encounter with Laz Café. I’ve ordered breakfast from here about 3 – 4 times(usually on the weekend), and my food arrives promptly and hot. I can’t really speak about lunch or dinner, but if you want a place to order some good breakfast from then Laz Café is seriously a good choice!

I live no more than a 3 minute car ride from Laz Café, and have often had a mediocre experience with this establishment. Either the food arrives an hour after calling in the order in, and of course is then cold, soggy, or inedible all together. BUT tonight’s experience takes the cake! My wife and I were willing to give good ol’ Laz Café another shot after receiving a newly revised menu. We order a new salad and a calzone, 2 very simple and quick dishes to make and deliver, in our opinion. When placing the order, I gave specific instructions to please have the driver call my cell phone to inform us that he has arrived. After 45 minutes and still no Laz, I place a call and inquired on the status of our delivery and was told that our driver would be calling any second. 15 minutes later, and still NO Laz! At this point my wife and I were over giving Laz another chance to redeem themselves and my wife called and requested to cancel our order and to ensure that our credit card be refunded. The Laz employee insisted that we wait for the driver to arrive, and went on to say that the driver attempted to contact us prior and that we refused to take his call??? My wife insisted on the refund, only to be treated with the rudest behavior you possibly could experience over the phone and was eventually hung up on. As soon as my wife was hung up on by the Laz employee, the Delivery Driver than called for the very first time, and claimed that he was involved in a car accident, and that this was the reason for his delay. And that if I didn’t take his delivery, that his boss would deduct the price of our order from his pay check. Never again Laz, never again.

The first time our office ordered from us, it was great. 5 stars. Today, we ordered a bunch of stuff– sandwichs and wraps, fries… It took an HOURAND A HALF. The food was ICE cold. Literally, wouldn’t even guess if ti was cooked it was so cold. One sandwich, the bulky roll was stale. We called to complain and they didn’t care ATALL. The person said there was no manager, only the guy who cooks. So there’s one person there? I don’t understand how you cook fries that taste like they came from my fridge. We asked, «How do you feel if you got cold food after an hour and a half?» Response: «I don’t know.» No one cared or was able to help. Completely unacceptable.

I have to disagree with all the hate. Granted, I visited at 11pm on a weeknight… but the guy at the counter recommended their Spinach Ricotta Pizza, and it was BOMB… easily the best pizza I’ve had in several months. I ordered from the counter, waited about 15 mins, and took home my piping hot $ 12 pizza(I’d say a good value for the size). Also had cheese fries — equally awesome. I don’t know about anything else on the menu, but that pizza was damned good.

Okay, the star is for the QUESADILLASONLY. BEST quesadillas I’ve had in a LONG time. Now, the other stuff: what a dump. The place is shabby looking on the inside, dimly lit, no pictures on the walls, no nothing on the walls actually, a barren juice cooler, a potato chip rack with about 6 small bags of Lay’s on it, and some tables and chairs. There are several men behind the counter, none of which were wearing gloves or hats, and I SAW one«cook» touch a pancake with has fingers to see if it was done. Anyway, all of the men were RUDE. The delivery drivers seemed confused, and the cooks/managers were angry with them, and yelling at them in some language that wasn’t English, Spanish, or anything I recognized. I ordered steak quesadillas, and was charged for them, and was given chicken quesadillas. Being inside the place was so unpleasant that I didn’t bother to take my order back in. Their prices are HIGH. Very. Again, though, I went because a friend had their quesadillas and I sampled one. They ARE delicious, I must say.
