La Perla

You would think the customer service would be a bit higher end. I came in to replace a pair of bottoms from a previous season. They were no longer at the store, so the sales rep gave me the number to an outlet. Which was nice and helpful, but having worked in retail, she should have called the store for me, especially since there were no other customers around to service.
Also, new renovations are nice, but underwhelming. Ditto the inventory.

The window display is very attractive, however, very limited inventory compare to the NYC. The boston La Perla sales people are not so helpful and they are not friendly as they should. La Perla sells quite pricy underwears for the very special occasion, or daily wear for those who don’t have spending limit. I personally like their miss studio line because the price is some what more reasonable and fits more into my lifestyle: not super silky/​lacy to the fact that I am afraid of wearing any other clothes on top or to go to bathroom.

I love this store! The lingerie is so gorgeous and well made. I went in for a special occasion and the salespeople were so friendly and helpful in finding the right item. It is not cheap, but you get beautiful hand made lace that will make you feel great. They also have basics that I much prefer to VS, and the prices are not that different for what you get.

Went here to finally upgrade my bra purchases. I had been wearing a 34D which was mostly comfortable, but the saleswoman completely disagreed and sold me a 36C. The bra never fit right and you can’t return the bras. I went to Intimacy and was fitted correctly – into a 34E. Very different. I had expected more from LaPerla.

La Perla is among the best lingerie in the world. This is truly high end, amazingly beautiful, top quality lingerie. The staff person I dealt with here was not only extremely accommodating and helpful, but she was not in the least bit «pushy* and was enthusiastic in her love of quality lingerie. I DO spend a lot of money on good lingerie, and yet I only purchased a thong to match a chemise I have already. That said, I never once felt pressured or judged. On the contrary, the sales woman made me feel like an intimate friend who shares her delight in this company (which is true!) and she wrapped the one thong I purchased in a way that made me feel she cherished each and every La Perla item for the luxury product that it is. How nice! It’s a lovely location, and what a lovely opportunity to see La Perla’s lovely ranges up close and personal. What a treat!

I don’t typically write a review but I felt compelled to do so to share my experience at La Perla. I have walked by their beautiful windows millions of times but never made the time to go in. I’m so pleased I did this past week! I was made to feel welcomed which was so well received as I must admit, I felt a bit self-​conscious. I am 5’2 and curvy and though I feel comfortable with my body, I don’t always find the right fit. Fabiana was a doll! She took a look at me, asked a couple of questions and then began suggesting beautiful items that I would have most likely overlooked. The quality of the pieces was exquisite. Fabiana knew exactly what colors, styles and sizes would flatter my body. I will most definitely be back and regret waiting as long as I did!

La Perla sells truly one-​of-​a-​kind lingerie. Is it expensive? Yes! This is high-​end fashion! Honestly, where else will you find such beautiful things? That is why the rich and famous all over the world shop at La Perla. There is no doubt you can go elsewhere and buy cheaper things. No one will argue with that. But really, you shouldn’t expect to eat filet mignon at Big Mac prices.
I’ve had nothing but wonderful service from the staff at Boston La Perla. I’ve been shopping there for years — with thanks to Fabiana. She has offered the level of personal service that one should expect from a store of this caliber. More importantly, she knows the product inside-​and-​out and has valuable advice about which pieces will fit me best. I can’t pull off everything in the store — but I am not going to blame her or La Perla for that!
Anyway. I just wanted to add my two-​cents to this conversation. If you have your expectations in line, this store offers a one-​of-​a-​kind shopping experience.

I really like La Perla’s offerings. This store has a good selection, and of course, the décor, ambience, and location are fabulous.
I’m not a fan of the staff here though. I have not found any of them to ever be super helpful or overly friendly. I tend to buy from Agent Provocateur instead.

i went to La Perla looking for bridal lingerie. I should mention that I am a 34DD, so it can be particularly hard to find lingerie sometimes. None of the fun stuff that they make comes in a D cup or higher, and on top of that, the clerk that worked there did her damnedest to convince me that I’m not a DD. She brought me bra after bra in the wrong size to queeze into, and, before I left, told me «You’re not as big as you think you are.» Furthermore, when I say bridal lingerie, don’t waste my time by giving me a matching set of bra and underwear. After wasting time and energy at La Perla, I ended up right back at Victoria’s Secret for my purchase. It’s a shame that they didn’t seem to want my money even when I as willing to spend it.

The sales people in this store are the worst. You sell thongs for a living seriously. Get a grip.
Some of their stuff is quite elegant, but the rest is trashy. Yeah, Im not a fan.
Well, if you want to wear a $ 120 thong this is the place to be. If you want the same thong for $ 30 go to TJ maxx or Marchall’s or Felines.

I know la Perla well having lived in Milan for a long time. The store in Boston has exagerated prices. You can find the same lingerie and nightgowns in New York for less and Filene’s basement sometimes carries some items.
