Fred Perry

During my last visit I was helped by an associate named Liza. I was already impressed upon entering the store by the immaculate folding and tidiness, but her customer service really blew me away. Liza showed me to many items that fit my personal style and ways to wear them together, too. I only came in for one item but left with a whole shopping list for next time! She is a gem and if I had my own clothing store I would hope to find associates just like her!

Einer der wenigen Fred Perry Läden in den USA. Nettes Ambiente am unteren Ende der Newbury Street. Passt irgendwie! Die Auswahl ist gut, die Grössen manchmal ein wenig anders als in Europa. Besser anprobieren, bevor man kauft. Bei den erheblich günstigeren Preisen lohnt das auf jeden Fall. Das Personal ist eher verpeilt und supercool. Da muss man schon ein wenig bohren, damit die aus der Deckung kommen. Aber besser als aufgesetzt und aufdringlich!

I look forward to coming here every time I visit Boston. I’m a huge fan of the brand, but the reason I’m rating this store a 5 is all about the staff. You don’t always get good, genuine assistance in stores like this. I used to work in retail for a long time, so I’m well aware. The employees who work here, specifically one of the managers (whose name I should definitely remember after talking with her so often) are incredibly nice and offer thoughtful suggestions. There’s none of that pressure to buy more and more, and definitely not an air of pretentious.
I hope when Fred Perry finally makes it to SF the staff will live up to the same standards.

I usually wouldn’t review a clothing shop, but the staff here were so lovely that I want to give them a mention. I went in on the last day of a sale, where there was lots of stuff I like, but I’m a pretty typical size so it seemed like everything left was way too big. Not only did the girls working there dig all through the back to see if they had anything left over in my size on sale, but they also pointed out that the extra-​small slim-​fit men’s shirts actually fit smaller women pretty well. I would have never guessed, but yeah, if you’re built like a 14-​year-​old boy you won’t be left looking like you’re wearing a tent or your brother’s cast-​offs. Fab.

Everything here is pretty expensive by default, but if you wait for the sales, you can easily score 50% off on really quality stuff. Got a jacket and two tops for less than the original price of the jacket alone.
