Great coffee + sandwiches. Had an iced coffee and cuban sandwich special. The pastries looked great, didn’t get a chance to have one though

Staff was friendly and helpful. Ambience is modern & loud. Cafeteria like service with staff calling out names for orders. The display case can get a bit crowded since the entrance is right across it and the waiting line forms in front of it. But it seems to dissipate quickly. I asked about their hot chocolate & desserts and was told the hazelnut Dacquiose was the choice to make and the Fiery Hot Chocolate was a crowd favorite. The dessert was delicious! If it doesn’t put you into sugar shock, it makes a very good attempt! Different layers of textures & tastes, a butter cream with a meringue, chocolate ganache and a sprinkling of hazelnuts and sliced almonds. My almonds were a little chewy and an unnecessary addition. My hot chocolate… Hmm, it wasn’t bad… Sipping my fiery hot chocolate(which did leave a tickle in the back of my nose & throat), the extra spice was a distraction to my enjoyment of the hot chocolate itself. It was served in a wider café au lait mug with a bit of foam on top. At first, I thought it a bit bland and watered down. As you drink it down and it gets concentrated, it thickens up, but not by much. Maybe it’s made with skim? It’s not an overly sweet hot chocolate, but pleasant. NOTRECOMMENDED for children or those not use to hot peppers. Though it doesn’t have an intense burn like peppers/oil, it does linger. While I was enjoying my sugar rush, the smells of the other sandwiches, foods, etc. being cooked was very appetizing! I would love to try some other items!

It always seems packed. The line was 20 people long but they were very good at getting people’s orders done in a timely manner. The service was really fast given the volume. It seems pretty typical of the Boston bakery/café. The food was great. I had a roast beef salad with goddess dressing along with«Addictive Spiced Pecans». The salad was good. Nothing special but it was solid. The pecans were amazing. It lived up to the«Addictive» on the bag. The combination of spicy and sweet with just the right amount of crunch. The bags were about $ 9 each but I could see myself eating 3 or 4 bags even at that price. The food is solid. I would recommend it if you want to sit down and eat food in a chill environment.

Finally decided to battle the long lines at Flour and get my brunch on. The lines tell you something, this place is worth the wait. So many choices! It was very hard to walk away without one of everything. I decided on a breakfast sandwich of bacon, egg and cheese on a brioche bun(bomb), a vegan chocolate muffin(super bomb), a crème brûlée to go( ), and the seltzer of the month — blackberry lime(bomb diggity). The staff was super friendly and patient with my ignorance of the extensive menu(how was I supposed to make a decision when faced with such a vast array of amazing options?!?) Found a seat by the window and dug in. Everything was fantastic. The egg sandwich was fluffy and smoky and the cheese perfectly sharp. The vegan muffin was moist with a light crust on the outside that seriously puts it at the top of my list for best muffins ever. The seltzer was bright and fruity and oh so refreshing. Later on I enjoyed my crème brûlée while vegging out in my sweatpants(obviously how all treats should be consumed) and was blown away at how simple yet perfect it was. I can’t wait to go back when I’m in town again. I had my eye on some passion fruit crème filled donuts but had to bounce before I gained 20 pounds just inhaling the delicious air in there. Definitely check out Flour!

I went here the other day and ordered a sticky bun and a latte. The sticky bun was excellent as was the latte — it wasn’t strong coffee but still good. This restaurant is a mix of communal style where you share long tables with people but there also smaller tables you can sit that aren’t shared and there is bar style seating along the windows. Just a heads up, on the weekend this place is very crowded but the yummy food is worth it(I am not sure how crowded it is on week days). I recommend trying this café!

Came here to try their famous sticky bun and it was pretty good, but I didn’t think it was anything special. It was very dry on one side and more soggy on the other — there wasn’t a very good balance. Maybe it was just the one I got, but it was just ok. I got here around lunch time and it was super crowded. The way they have people line up and pick up their food is kind of confusing and it just wasn’t very organized. I do want to come back and try some of their other stuff though — maybe then I’ll change my review.

I have only eaten pasteries from here, but they have all always been delicious. My 2 absolute favorite things are the double chocolate cookies and the pecan sticky buns. The chocolate cookie is always sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. The cookie is firm and yet the chocolate inside always perfectly melty, but not messy. If you only come for one thing, come for the sticky bun. It is the best I have ever had, with an abundance of pecans and sweetness. Worth every penny and calorie.

I have been going to Flour for a couple years now and while their sandwiches are very good, all of their baked goods are top notch. A couple of my favorites are the sticky buns and the double chocolate chip cookies – do yourself a favor and try them both, you most certainly won’t be disappointed.

This must be one of the cutest bakeries in Boston. We decided to visit Flour for breakfast, and I was immediately a fan. Great ambiance(sunny, lively, full of locals off to work), and an extensive menu+shelves of pastries. Wish I had time to try them all, but I settled on a roast chicken sandwich. My BF got an egg sandwich and our group decided to split a Boston cream pie. Since we sat outside and the weather was a bit chilly, I didn’t enjoy my cold sandwich as much as I could have. But the sweet jicama, fatty avocado and protein together was a fantastic combination. I was a bigger fan of the egg sandwich, warm and full of fluffy eggs and vegetables. And for dessert, the Boston crème pie was amazing. Almost tiramisu like in its softness, I was a fan of the chocolate and cream combination. Props to Flour for one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Boston!

Dropped by here because I heard they had amazing pastries. Indeed… I got the pop tart and it had Defcon 5 level thickness and jam. They use REAL jam– chunky jam. To be honest it tasted nothing like a pop tart, which was pretty disappointing. Don’t get me wrong the pastry was pretty dope. The dough was more flakey– like a firm croissant with a crust to it. The legit jam was a game changer and the overall flavor and consistency was on the right flow. It just wasn’t what I was expecting. You get a lot for your buck too: the thickness is equivalent to like 2.5 or 3 gourmet tarts stacked together. It was only around $ 3.50 which was a major plus. I also got a Lemon scone, which was on major fleek. Once again the scone wasn’t really a scone, more like a glazed biscuit. The biscuit was straight up da hibby the jibby. Amazing consistency and flow. It had a strong level of lemon and slight kick at the end. Loved it! Everything is pretty cheap here and they are known for their sticky buns and breakfast items. Flour has mucho Power and it’s definitely a Bostonian favorite in the modern era!

We had to do take out of this place as we were leaving town, but everything was fresh and fast. Hubs and I both got the bacon breakfast sandwich, and it was such a beast we had to save our sticky bun for later. OMGGETTHESTICKYBUN. I was not in love with their coffee, tbh. I ordered a soy latte and it just tasted funny– maybe it was me. If I went back I’d probably try a different beverage.

Came here on my day off for lunch with my roommate who works nearby. The lunch rush is REAL. Took a while to get my order but during that time we kept our eyes out for open seats. They definitely don’t stay free for long. I liked that they had a lot of options, so much that when it was my turn to order I felt a but rushed since I still couldn’t decide, but now that’s more the reason to come back to eat. The sandwich was pretty big so saved the other half for later. Will probably just order and take it to eat somewhere less crowded next time though.

Jordan and I stopped in for a late lunch after the ballet. Place was crowded but the line was moving quickly. We each ordered a sandwich. I got the roast beef, she got the turkey. The blend of flavors in the roast beef sandwich was delicious and the bread was soft and chewy with excellent crumb. Jordan is not a fan of anything other than meat and bread so the«grape mostardo» in the sandwich kept her from eating the bread. I’m sure if we had actually read the menu the friendly folks at Flour would have made the sandwich without it. She had the brioche, I had the sticky bun bread pudding. I love bread pudding. If Flour is out of sticky buns, try this. We were able to find seats among some students nursing their coffee, but expect to wait for a seat. Staff was friendly and attentive, atmosphere is kind of chaotic. Not a place for a quiet sit down meal but maybe the best place around to get fantastic baked goods. We stop whenever we are in Boston.

I braved a light blizzard in Boston to trek from my hotel to Flour one blustery morning, solely due to the glowing reviews on Unilocal, and thankfully was not disappointed. The baked goods were artfully displayed and labeled, making it easy to choose which freshly-baked treat to devour. The coffee was hot, strong, and perfect for a cold morning, and my raisin pecan bun was light, airy, and cost less than a dollar. Flour lives up to the hype — check it out(but maybe not in a blizzard).

The grilled chicken sandwich is great — don’t be tricked like me and order a half size … The cashier told me a full size is big. But I was still hungry after! I just wish the guy would stop spraying his cleaning products around me while I eat.

Sticky buns are definitely the reason to come by! We got here around 2pm thinking that they might have run out of them, but we were able to get them! The toppings have generous amount of pecans and sticky gloriousness. The bun itself is so chewy and soft that it melts in your mouth! It’s more of a texture of smooth doughnuts instead of the usual dry cinnamon bun texture. We also got some earl grey tea to go with and I love their milk station! They have so many options… They even have soy milk! They also have nice bar stool sitting areas by the window with a beautiful view!

Arrived here on a Monday afternoon for some brunch at the recommendation of one of my girlfriends who use to live in this area and I was not disappointed at all. Looking through their Unilocal photos, you can’t help but imagine in your head what choices you’re going to have to make when you’re actually in the café. We found this Café as we walked through an alleyway and once we saw the store sign, we were hoping that since it was a Monday afternoon, there wouldn’t be that much people there. Boy, were we wrong! The line was already reaching the ends of the restaurant wall and doubling back around & the tables and counters were already filled with people already enjoying their food. We quickly got in line and within 15 minutes or so, we were at the front to place our order. There were multiple people behind the counter helping place orders using their hand held order machines, after they read you back your order, you swipe your card with them and then a different person at the cash register asks you to sign your receipt after it prints and then hands you your receipt. You then will scurry off to find a table or place at the counters lining the walls to sit at & when your order is ready, your name will be called to pick it up. We ordered: 1) Croissant(heated up): nice buttery croissant that was flakey when you pushed your fork into it 2) Old Fashion Sour Dough Coffee Cake: delicious cake with cinnamon swirls throughout the cake, coffee cake toppings have a nice semi-sweetness that compliments the cake and the frosted lines to the back of the cake slice even has a frosted sugar icing on it. 3) pb&j — you can’t go wrong with this one! the jam seems to be homemade as it’s not your buy in the supermarket type of jam where it runs all gooey liquid all over the place. instead, this jam has a nice thick consistency where it clumps together like a paste with the seeds still there; quite fragrant and flavorful. Combined together, not too thick with the PB and the paste of the Jam which goes well together to not give you that you just want to keep lapping your tongue in your mouth kind of feel. 4) Sweet potato, Apple, Blue cheese, kale, honey whole wheat sandwich(Minus walnut pesto substituted with almonds) — actually pretty good, however, the sweet potato got a bit too dry towards the end. Since the sandwich comes in a pretty decent size, can probably share this. 5) Breakfast egg sandwich, ham & cheddar — just ok. the egg comes in a thick rectangular shape and the ham is slightly grilled a bit to give it a nice flavor; can be pretty filling after only being halfway done with the sandwich. 6) Caramel Cappuccino — this was a fail for me since I didn’t enjoy this coffee at all. It was way too bitter at the bottom even I stirred it up a couple of times. Overall, certain foods were scrumptious with a few hit and misses. I still would recommend others to try it though if you’re around the area. TIPS: 1) Free WIFI at the Bakery/Café 2) Unisex restrooms access requires a code that’s printed on your receipt. Tap the keypad entry machine on top of the door handle, when it lights up, enter your code and green is «Access Granted,» while red is «DENIED.» 3) To go menus located on the back shelves where the books are around the main entrance door area/where the line walks past.

I’ve been looking for the best breakfast sandwiches in the South End, and thought I’d try Flour. Well, it’s not here. I don’t know how they can call that an egg. It doesn’t look like an egg. It doesn’t taste like an egg. It was some sort of rubbery, thick, yellowish material in replacement of what should be an egg. I don’t get it, or like it. Huge disappointment.

This review is more of a 3 ½ because the stick bun here is definitely more impressive than the one in the Kendall Square location. Here, they warm up your bun and the result is a perfectly soft and slightly chewy delight. However, the sticky bun is still incredibly sweet and the other items are not as impressive. I tried their egg sandwich which definitely has a unique take on the egg(sort of steamed and comes out as a rectangular block shape). But the bread is not warmed and the dijon mayo sauce is too strong for me in the morning. I also tried the yogurt parfait with cherries which made the whole thing too bitter and the granola didn’t have much texture or flavor. I think yogurt parfaits probably just aren’t Flour’s strong suit…

Oh, yum! What a neat place. Everything we got was delicious. The breakfast sandwich is neat with tomato, arugula and dijoinaise really making the sandwich shine. The egg was the only oddity — whether pre-scrambled, or something, it just had a strange texture. Would’ve been better with a fresh cooked egg, but that may be the limitation of the kitchen. The pastries were also quite good. My kids loved the pop-tarts which were sweet sugary finger-licking good. The coffee was good too. The downsides of the place being so popular is that it’s a struggle to find a table at times, and there’s a mild wait for the food. And the prices are a little high(though arguably ok for the quality). But would not hesitate to stop here again.

Flour is a solid place to get breakfast. They have gluten free options, which are limited, but exist. And for those who are able to eat gluten, the sky’s the limit. They have a wide selection of baked goodies: scones, muffins, breads, you name it. Their sandwich selection is extensive too, but since they«premake them»(YUCK?) most of them cannot be made gluten free. I tried to order the chicken and brie sandwich on GF bread, but got this explanation. So I tried the ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich instead; which also had arugula and fresh tomatoes, on yummy gluten-free bread, and it was delicious. Very FILLING. I didn’t eat all the bread, it was a BIG portion. It kept me full for hours. We also tried the chia pudding, which was yummy. Comparison with ThinkingCup: — Sandwich = bigger portion for sandwhich, more bread, but delicious, loved the veggies on the sandwhich, not quite as flavorful. — Chia pudding = more chia seeds per portion(ie. thicker), had fresh berries on the top which I loved, less creamy than ThinkingCup. — Took WAY too long to get us 3 gluten-free breakfast sandwiches. SLOW service. ThinkingCup is better than Flour. I’d go back, but my options might be limited as someone who’s 100% gluten free. One thing I appreciated is that they asked if my gluten-free-ness was an «allergy» or a «preference» — I’m totally intolerant to it(translate: I get sick), but I don’t get anaphylaxis, so she just marked me as an allergy, an option I appreciated. Boston totally lacks good breakfast places, so I was happy to find a decent option.

The flavors of the sandwich and dessert I had were slightly off, but the textures were very good. A few tweaks could make this place amazing. The bread for the sweet potato sandwich was awesome, and the flavors were a perfect match on paper(walnut pesto, blue cheese, and sweet potato). I think this sandwich would be greatly improved by maple syrup or glaze to tie the whole thing together; with no sweetness, the sandwich left a rather bitter(and slightly salty) aftertaste. The carrot cake’s frosting was quite tasty, and the texture was perfect, but the cake itself didn’t have enough carrot flavor or spice, leaving the whole dessert bland.

Ok, so you know that a Bakery and Café is good when they make a sandwich that is as amazing, if not more amazing, than it’s desserts. And I’m not saying that’s true here. Because the sandwich and the desserts are both amazing. It’s a big café, bigger than it may seem from the outside. And there’s always a queue, but hop in, it moves quickly. And then get a sandwich. We tried the chicken, avocado and jicama(a root veg I’ve never tried before but loved) and it blew me away. My god it was tasty. And then the desserts, from the chocolate cookie to the homemade Oreo and, of course, the legendary sticky buns, are all some of the best desserts in Boston. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is light, and the food is amazing. It’s an easy five stars.

This is a must stop by on my food tour of Boston. I first fell in love with Flour when I, like many others, tried their sticky bun. When I was consulting in the city, I’d stop by the original location in the South End and get a sticky bun and sometimes their Belgian chocolate brownie on the way to work. Now, that I just came back, I knew I had to find the closest Flour to work and get my beloved. I don’t think prices have changed for either, at $ 3.75 a piece. I will say I forgot that a knife and a fork would have been helpful in eating the sticky bun as it does create a bit of a sticky situation. I came back twice in two days and ordered sticky buns on each day. There’s a great mix of pecans, honey, and dough that is so satisfying, sweet, and warm. The brownie doesn’t look too impressive ever but it’s got that nice soft, oozy, chocolate quality that makes you feel you are enjoying a delicious and decadent treat without overindulging gratuitously. Both mornings, a friend and I came back around 8 am, and we found the lines to be moving quickly. I miss the good service from places like Flour. Everyone behind the counter was friendly, spoke clearly, and were efficient. After taking your order, they will use what I think is the square app so you can pay by credit card. If it’s over a certain amount, probably $ 5.00, you have to sign but otherwise, you can be on your way pretty quickly. At this Back Bay location, many tables and window tables were filled by the time we arrived, but it’s still pretty decent in seating offerings. My friend liked their parmesan chive scone so much she ordered it each day we visited.

Flour has always been my favorite bakery of all times. However, this particular location is my favorite because it is right outside the Back Bay T station which is super convenient for me. The other locations are out of the way and inconvenient for me to get to. I really like the layout of the bakery as well. They provide a lot more table spaces and windows seats compared to other locations like the South End one. Every time I come here(which is practically two times a week), the staff is always super friendly and efficient. They manage to remain a nice composure despite the hectic morning rush and I applaud them for it. It amazes me how upbeat and patient they are with costumers. It honestly makes a huge difference, especially when you’re having a really rough exhausting morning, so thank you staff members :) I think it goes without saying that the pastries and sandwiches here are absolutely delicious. You can get anything you want on display and not be disappointed. What I love about Flour is that they have such a huge variety of pastries and sandwiches that you will never be bored of them. It is honestly always a new experience when I come here because I always order something new. But I have to get a sticky bun with everything though because the sticky buns are literally BOMBDIGGITY. I highly recommend the pop tarts, the chia seed pudding, and of course the applewood smoked bacon panini!!! I will stop my review right here because I’ve gotta plan my next view visits here. Also, if you’re a student, I highly recommend coming here for breakfast and coffee, and then go to the Boston Public Library to study. It’ll literally brighten up your study mood by coming here. Love you Joanne Chang!!! :)

WOW talk about a good breakfast; the coffee is great and the pastries are absolutely delicious. Although the café is pretty busy in the mornings, there are an abundance of tables and chairs to sit at. Windows make up 90% of the wall space, which guarantees you enough natural light to brighten up your morning. There’s an overwhelming variety of breakfast items to choose from(definitely a good thing), but it caused my boyfriend and I to stand in line deciding for about 5 minutes. I knew the Sticky Bun was a given, but we were struggling to choose between about 5 other items. We ended up settling on the Pop Tart, which was honestly one of the tastiest flaky pastries I’ve ever had. The Sticky Bun was also good(and clearly a crowd favourite), but I found it difficult to pick a favourite between those two. I’ll definitly be back next week. And probably the week after.

Stopped by the new location after a day of shopping. The pastry selection was a little more sparse(obviously late day arrival doesn’t help with selection) but everything was wonderful as usual. The warm apple cider is a fall staple that brought back great memories during my recent trip to Boston to see some friends. This location is beautiful — and HUGE(especially in comparison to the Fort Point location. So nice to have one closer to Copley.

After an old roommate brought home some of their meringue kisses one holiday season, I bookmarked Flour for my next trip up to Boston. Who knew that I would visit three different locations in 4 days? This location was my first time to Flour and it was during the weekday lunch rush. The line was long and monstrous looking, but it gave me just enough time to peruse the menu before ordering shortly after. I got half of a roasted lamb sandwich and the soup of the day, which was potato and Thai red curry. You could taste the freshness in the sliced bread… I’ve never had sandwich bread that fresh and that dense. It was almost too dense. The lamb… I was expecting something totally different, but it was thinly sliced and resembled roast beef. Now what was really special was the soup. I can honestly say this is the best soup outside of my own mother’s cooking that I’ve ever had. The combination of savory and tangy and just the perfect kick of spicy made for an explosion of flavor in my mouth. For dessert, we had the lemon meringue pie and it was just as satisfying. Perfect meringue topping and fresh lemon filling. I know, I know — what about the sticky bun?* I loved Flour so much I bought both of the Flour cookbooks. Can’t wait to try it at home! *Sticky bun eaten at a different location and will review it there!

wow wow wow. Sticky bun… yummm Breakfast sandwich yummm I had a great experience in my visit with Flour. I knew I was somewhat close by while walking along Bolyston and I had bookmarked the location because it kept popping up on my Unilocal feed. This is one of those feel good places for a weekend mid-morning. The queue was 20 deep, completely packed communal tables, counters, and tables. A diverse crowd of old, young, just finished with yoga, tourists, families, friends, with a very loyal following. I enjoyed talking to the loyal customers who gave me great suggestions on what to eat — sticky roll, macaroons, any pastries, croissants, breakfast sandwich… just about the entire menu! I could sense that if I lived in boston myself — this would be my go-to brunch/breakfast place. I do my usual walk around to take in what looks good and there were some creative dishes — like a breakfast sandwich salad(think about that — its neat). Help yourself to the water dispenser. Restrooms are separate from the actual restaurant in a back-hallway. I would say you’d be happy if you order a sticky bun. Caramel topping, with some walnuts, each bite full of buttery goodness, soft, chewy — can’t just have a bite or a taste — give me more! I can’t share this with you! Breakfast sandwich was good– I had it with bacon(you could have it plain or with ham as well). It a good portion, arugula and a nice fresh sauce. Coffee was good — didn’t remember the roast that I got.

Having visited Huckleberry in LA recently reminded me so much of the time I visited Flour Bakery + Café. I instantly became a fan of Joanne Chang’s hip little soup, salad, sandwich, and bakery. I have since bought her first two books(Flour Too as a momento of my visit) and have made the Autumn Vegetable soup with much success to the raves of my friends… We visited for lunch on a day where we were just foodie tourists so we split a salad and a panini knowing that we were going to also order something sweet afterwards. The Quinoa Salad used fresh ingredients and was not over-dressed which was significant since you want to be able to taste the constituent ingredients; the ginger-scallion dressing made it even more Asian leaning. The Roasted Chicken Sandwich is not very slick but it has all the right ingredients in the proper proportions and was implemented very well. The toasted ridges of the country bread was perfectly crisp and not over-burnt… Everyone knows about the famous Sticky Sticky Buns by now, and no I didn’t stutter. I went and tried their version of the ubiquitous Boston Cream Pie which was a coffee-soaked sponge cake, layered with vanilla cream, and topped with chocolate ganache. Honestly, they had me with the smooth, semi-glossy, decadent layer of chocolate on top… I thought the cost was very reasonable for what we got, much more so than über-hipster Santa Monica pricing so I would wish that she would open one of her shops closer to us…

I’ve only been working in Boston for about two weeks now at the John Hancock building… well until it’s renamed… and I could not find a place for delicious coffee. Yeah there are your Starbucks and Dunkin donuts, but I’ve become a coffee snob and need me some high quality coffee. I saw this place Flour on Unilocal with nothing but rave reviews so I figured I would give it a try and boy am I glad I did. The place has a very hipster vibe with their large chalkboards with the day’s food, drink, and desserts all written in chalk on it. The boards also mention if the foods are but free, gluten free, or vegan. Their coffee is amazing! So much flavor and richness to their coffee. Anytime I can drink an iced coffee black is a plus and their coffee is so good it needs no additions. They only have sizes small and large, but the small is plenty big enough. I have not had any of the food at Flour, but it all looks amazing. They have things like pizza dough, lunch sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, and a large assortment of goodies. The line is pretty long in the morning, but only takes about 3 – 5 minutes to get served which isn’t a struggle in the morning.

This is a cute little place the John Hancock building. Across from the café is Frieda Garcia park, so it’s ideal to bring your kids here to play! Obviously, before coming here, I read the reviews on Unilocal.I ready a lunch, so I didn’t get a sandwich and got desert(sticky bun and Boston crème pie). Sticky bun was a lot like a Cinnabon with all the extra nuts on top and with out too much sweet GOO in the middle. The bun itself was very firm, so it was hard to cut. Next is the Boston cream pie, which I had to wait for cuz they ran out! Boston cream pie was very light. The sponge bread and the light crème was a good combination for the light dark chocolate. The simplicity of the crème pie brings out a lot of its flavors… If I were to come back again, I would be get the Boston cream pie. Something I can’t really write words, but this is really delicious… not too rich and not too bland, again really brings out the flavors! Long story short: If you’re here for dessert, just get the Boston crème pie. It keeps running out for a reason!

Loved loved loved this place. It was about a mile, maybe more, from the place we were staying so it made for a nice morning walk. Even though they had quite the extensive selection of baked goods on display(the homemade Pop Tarts caught my eye in particular), my Airbnb hostess recommended the sticky bun, so the sticky bun it was. I also ordered a latte to go with it. My fiancé ordered the breakfast sandwich, which had egg, bacon(or you can choose ham), cheddar, arugula, tomato(he opted out of this) and dijonnaise(?). We found seats at the bar towards the side where the restrooms are. Food came out fairly quickly. Man, that sticky bun was basically dessert for breakfast. Let’s just be real here. SOGOODTHOUGH. I can’t believe I ate the entire thing in one sitting. I’m sure my blood sugar shot up to dangerous levels. I tried a bit of the breakfast sandwich too… yum. My fiancé kept proclaiming that he has to recreate this sandwich. It was so simple but tasty. Afterwards, got to walk off breakfast this time by exploring beautiful South End.

Wow, now this is what a coffee/bake shop ought to look like! Plenty of tables in the seating area along with stools along the windows, full sandwich, desserts, and pastries on the menu, and very tempting display. Service was quick and friendly. I opted for an unhealthy breakfast this time — their famous Sticky Sticky Buns. It was a soft, fluffy muffin with this incredible layer of warm pecan, warm honey, and probably other good stuff that was well, warm and sticky! It was sweet, but on a way the sponge cake underneath helped balance the bun so overall its not overly rich. Masterpiece! I also got their French Roast black coffee to wash things down — dark, bold, and smooth.
