I stayed buckminster hotel for 5nights and enjoyed breakfast every morning.

Easier to say this: Just stay away… The food is not good, the service is worse and you will over pay. All the employees do is stand around and complain… Its too bad as the location is good and the place it nice inside.

The service was not as slow as everyone had mentioned. I saw the bad reviews but we needed to grab breakfast and received some food credit so I took my family before we went out for the day. The food came out pretty fast and the breakfast was good.

We had the calamari, Shepherds pie and FIsh and Chips. All dishes tasty and lots of food. I recommend this place. Service was good too. Best Calamari!!! I can’t understand why this place isn’t busier during Sox games. You have to get in line and wait for Boston Beer Works and other venues around Fenway Park. You can get a seat and enjoy great food at this place without the crowds.

I have to give this place a fantastic review. I was in a rut when an event I was planning fell through a week before it was supposed to occur and I walked into the Fenmore completely fuputzed. They solved all my problems. I was able to sit down with the chef to figure out a menu(and when I had to lower my budget three days later, he sat down with me again, assuring me it was not a problem). They did an AMAZING job. The food was great, the service was on point(I was surprised by the earlier reviews saying it was lacking) and I would absolutely recommend. The following weekend I brought my mom in for lunch and again, I was pleased with the delicious burger and fries. It is one thing to have great food but the people working here is what really impressed me. 5⁄5!

We ended up at Fenmore by mistake as the Yard House had a line out the door. We ordered two appetizers and they were delicious and filling. We even had to take some home. We had the sliders which were cooked perfectly. Very good quality meat. Then we had the nachos which were different than the usual unhealthy pile of chips and cheese that I am used to. It seemed much lighter and really more tasty than any nachos I have had before. There were plenty there that I brought home for my children to enjoy. The beer was a very good price and fresh as was the Cupcake Chardonnay. I would go back here any time!

Staying at the Buck, visiting mum. The Buck comps you ten dollars for every night you are booked there. Usual breakfast fare, but the food always arrives cold. Home fries, especially & the service is terrible. This morning, the waiter forgot to give me silverware, I had to get it myself. I used to work as a waiter & service here is slow even when the place is empty. I’ve never seen a crowd here, I guess between cold food & slow service, they won’t get many crowds. Nothing worse than cold home dies & bitter coffee!

Went there for breakfast shortly after a blizzard so I wasn’t expecting too much. Needless to say, my expectations were met. There was a lack of professionalism in the service. It took 5 – 10 minutes for us to receive the menu and another 5 – 10 minutes for them to take our order despite us asking multiple times for them to do so. A smile can go a long way in the service industry and these guys hadn’t had a clue. I didn’t know asking somebody for a bottle of ketchup was such a physically grueling task that one has to let out a sigh for. Also, if you’re going to speak negatively about a customer, do so at your own discretion. Food was pretty expensive for a standard american breakfast(e.g. $ 13 for eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast), The food itself was passable, nothing to write home about. Overall, I give them kudos for braving the snow and opening. However, if you have a bad day or something on your mind, leave that shit at home. Don’t bring it your job.

A… strange…experience. Came here on a Saturday night for dinner. There were no more than 10 people in the restaurant — including the 2 servers. I made a reservation online but clearly didn’t need it, as the bartender looked at me confused and said, «take a seat anywhere». Okay. We sat down by a window and the 2 servers jockeyed for who would take the next table. Service was fine, nothing to rave or complain about. Food was good, a little overpriced. For such a great location and spot, they could certainly be doing more to get some repeat customers. We probably would have had more fun if we went to the Uno next door.

Went here on a groupon. I thought the food was perfect for the price and the staff was attentive and friendly. I’m not sure I would go here with a group larger than 4 people, but it is a good quiet place to grab a quick lunch on a Friday or meet someone for a drink, if you want a little more privacy.

We stayed at the Buckminster the final weekend in September and went in here twice. Once was after the Red Sox game on the 27th to have a drink. Only beer and wine. No liquor at all. In a hotel? Beer selection was okay. Not many places have Rogue Dead Guy so that was a nice surprise. Went in the following morning for breakfast and used a $ 10 voucher the front desk gave us. I had a standard breakfast of bacon, eggs, potatoes and rye toast. It was all served cold. All of it. However, the service was fine both times.

Food is okay. Not sure if the price is right. The waiter is polite but seems to be multitasking a lot when there is only one other party in the restaurant. I wonder if he cooks our meal too. The décor is nice inside. Not sure if I will be back again though.

Best beer & wine pricing in the area! Truffle fries were Delish but skip the steak & cheese egg rolls(no one gets them right… Ever!!)

Came here on a night there was a sox game, and the place was empty. They were miraculously out of the«beer special» that was featured on the board outside. We didn’t make it a big deal but then the bartender disappeared and didn’t come back to us for ten minutes(we were still the only people there). The restaurant looks nice, prices are good, location is great, service is terrible. Is come back but it’s Nothing to rave about. The food was pretty good for the price.

It’s attached the the hotel and they give you $ 10 coupons for the restaurant. For was good(basic breakfast food). Coffee and decent music. Not many people during breakfast but did see a lot of people stop in for lunch. Staff was nice, i do think she was a little stretched thin. Mainly because she was the only person waiting tables.

This place is really nice, especially for a restaurant that’s set in a hotel. We had brunch here when we stayed at the Buckminster. It was almost empty when we went in, only 3 more couples, which was nice. The sign said seat yourself, so we did. And then we waited. 10…15 minutes. We had to flag down a waitress(they were all standing by the kitchen talking) to get served. I hate flagging down servers. Its rude, but listen, if Ive been sitting at a seat yourself table and no ones even greeted me for 10 minutes and you’ve seen that I was sitting there, that’s just as rude. We both ordered and I had to send mine back because it was missing a major component: the eggs. Our waitress was apologetic, and curt. Our drinks came w/refills that we never got, and our waters were also never refilled. The food, however, was really really good. My eggs were just right and my husbands meal was beyond his expectations. So Fenmore. Pretty lively bar at night, great food, and terrible wait staff during breakfast.

Ate here because when you stay at hotel buckminster you get $ 10 credit to eat here for every night you stay! Definitely a good deal. The service was very friendly but the food took a while to come out even though the restaurant was empty. Our waitress even gave us fresh coffee to go because I asked if I could take my coffee home! We had the eggs Benedict and the smoked salmon bagel. Both were standard, nothing superb about the dishes but nothing bad to say about them also. I don’t know if I would come back if I don’t have the credit that the hotel gave us, it was a bit pricey without it for food that was just okay.(more than $ 10 per dish).

We went on a Friday night and it was so empty — we were surprised. There were maybe 3 other parties and 2 of them were there because they were staying at the hotel in the next building. When you walk in you seat yourself and then greeted by the waiter/waitress. I really wanted to order the fried calamari sticks that you see on their picture menu on their site, however it wasn’t on the menu :(so we ordered fried calamari as an appetizer and it was a good portion. We then ordered fish and chips and shrimp linguini. They were both not bad — just nothing spectacular. For the prices, we would only be okay if it was with a groupon! As for service, the young lady that was helping us was nice but she didn’t really help much. She would come check up on us and ask if everything was good and saw that our drinks were almost done but didn’t refill it. I asked if I could get a refill on my drink and she said okay and took mine to refill… but not the boyfriends cup which was also empty. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Context: Sunday 7PM, Weekly College Student Night! The entire menu was 50% off! Ambiance: There are normal tables, high stables, and a bar. High ceiling matched with huge windows. It’s attached to the Hotel Buckminister so its pretty nice. Food: The coke was a little flat… This is random I know, but it was so surprising. Who serves flat cokes?!? Angus beef burger $ 12: I thought it was a little dry and somewhat burnt. But just a regular burger. I think Tasty Burger does a much better job. This came with a side of mash potatoes which were small and not memorable. Lobster Mac n Cheese $ 22: This is one soupy Mac n Cheese… where was the cheese?!? The lobster did not taste fresh and was extremely salty and fishy. Only the yucky parts of the lobster were used. I didn’t get any nice chunks but rather the mealy, grainy parts. I saw a lot of claw meat in there, which we all know is the worst part! The fishy, salty flavor of the lobster totally overwhelmed the dish making it extremely one dimensional and almost unpleasant to eat. It left that bad fish taste in my mouth. I got this with a side of green beans which were actually pretty good! It was cooked nicely with some garlic and oil, simple and delicious. I wish I got the fries though because I could have dipped it in the Mac and at least given it some more flavor. Restroom: Clean, single unisex stall, but no toilet seat covers! Boo! At least it was clean. Service: Super nice, but very slow. You have been warned. Very slow. We tried waving them down a couple times, but they couldn’t see us. Also the place setting and utensils were kind of sticky… ew. Price: It ended up being only $ 19 + tip because of the College Night! But, if it wasn’t for that I would NOT pay $ 22 for the Mac. I liked the ambiance enough that I think I would come back again and try something different like the Steak or Fish n Chips with the fries, but only on Sunday College Night. So come Sunday night and don’t forget your Student ID! My review haiku: I like the aura Half off Sunday night, long wait But don’t get the mac!
