It’s really hit or miss here. Deepa and Christian are great — really great. They are both always fast and very friendly. Some of the other employees are good as well but there are a few that seem like they would rather be anywhere else — which I guess is understandable. It’s pretty clean in here, since it’s relatively new.

I love the location of this store due to the closeness to my office. It is right on my way tot he office from the Downtown Crossing T Station. This is a fairly new location and still must get the kinks out but there are a few things lacking here. Service is quite slow in the mornings compared to the other locations nearby, and having one person on a register during the morning coffee rush is not the best plan of attack. This puts so much pressure on the poor single cashier that you can tell they are stressed and having trouble keeping up. Also there seems to be just in general a staffing shortage here, only three people behind the counter working in the busy mornings, where in other locations there are at least 5 – 6. Again, still a newer location and I will come back to get my morning coffee as I have been, just a few things to work on service wise. My coffee has always been delicious and I have never had a bad one yet! Also tried the Macchiato, and was blown away that it actually tasted decent! Hope that the staffing issue gets better, really not only from a service aspect, but also to alleviate some pressure off the single cashier taking orders.
