This place is awesome. Friendly staff, really. The blonde girl was super friendly and loved my dog so that was a nice experience. She was quick and knew everything I needed(cups, bag, lids). Thanks for a great experience!

Awesome flavored ice cream. The concept to make it in front of you is great. But the process could be long since they are often understaffed.

I had never had Coldstone ice cream up until eons ago when I worked in the area. After that I revisited this location once or twice in the past five years. Last night bestie and I were hangin out in town and decided that we wanted ice cream so we traipsed to the Pru and made our way to Coldstone. Being lactose intolerant, I allow myself one or two dairy cheat days so I can cope with the losses. What’s a girl to do? My bestie got the chocolate divine and I got the pie who shagged me. Hers was chocolate on chocolate. Mine was cheesecake ice cream with fudge, an Oreo cookie, and graham cracker pieces… all smushed in together. I treated myself well on a cheat day I think. No pic cuz it was gone quite fast. Sowee. Four stars for the rating as its tiny and needs to be expanded or just needs some sidewalk al fresco space(my apologies if there’s al fresco space and I hadn’t noticed in the past). Yumz.

Cold Stone Creamery is a nice treat if you’re at the Pru. It’s not the best ice cream in Boston, and certainly not the cheapest, but it has a good location. The banana ice cream had a fresher flavor than the others(which tend to be too sweet) and they have a decent selection of toppings.

Have to don’t this place for having their gift card reader down for over a month. They are just now posting that is down rather than have you order and be hot with the normal $ 18 charge.

Ice cream is AMAZING. For the menu made option I always get the«Our Strawberry Blonde»(stawberry ice cream with graham cracker crumbs, strawberries, caramel, and whipped cream). This time I decided to make my own creation, I got mint ice cream(not mint chocolate chip, MINT), with Oreos and Reeses peanut butter cups mixed in. It was amazing. Honestly I’d like to try it again without the Reeses cups. Not too expensive, honestly worth it. Very high quality ice cream. Only thing is that there is no seating. It’s just the ice cream counter where you order and then you have to get out(there is literally not even space to just stand and eat your ice cream). Will definitely be coming back during summer!

Great cold stone, they saw us walking down just after closing and held the door open for us. Great service with a smile. Just down the street from the Sheraton hotel!

I went to pick up a 40 dollar cake for a wedding shower held for one of my co-workers. The first terrible thing I saw, was an employee packing a pint of ice cream, and licking her fingers. At first I thought I was seeing things… but as I was waiting for my cake to be put into a bag, I saw her do it again. Disgusting. THEN, I get to work and see the cake. It belongs on Cake Wrecks. Really, it’s bad. Check out the photo. Buyer’s remorse…

I love good ice cream. What you get at any Cold Stone is not good ice cream. No matter what the flavor, it will be loaded with too much sugar. I have sampled several at different times and locations, and ALL were much too sweet. It seems their target consumer is 6 – 12 years old. Quality of product is similar to Brigham’s and Friendly’s. Definitely not premium ice cream in the class of JP L or Emack, but they sell at a premium price. They also copy the concept of mixing extra stuff into the ice cream. Those who remember Steve’s/ Herrell’s will cringe. Cold Stone: Yuck

By far my favorite ice cream place in the world! I love creativity in my food and cold stone creamery allows me to create my very own ice cream with whatever topping or flavors I want. The ice cream is very rich and thick. Prices are really good for what you get!

J did not receive great service here. The server was confused and/or annoyed when I asked for a taste and again when I asked for a topping to be added to my ice cream. On top of that printer was broken so I was told it was not possible for me to have a receipt. After explaining that I really did need the receipt another staff member suggested they write one out; she did this in a bit of a huff but did do it in the end. As others have said the ice cream is pretty over-priced; unless you are ordering a combination that you can’t get somewhere else, you should probably just go somewhere cheaper.

Cold stone is the place where you pick your ice cream then the lay it out on a table and mash in as many ingredients as you want. Awesome Price. Not so awesome(5 dollars for a small with 1 flavor and 1 topping) Atmosphere. Not so awesome. The place is so small that people had to stand in line outside. Tip: really cool fountain across the street to hang out and eat your ice cream if you end up coming here

I was shocked by the lack of service at this Cold Stone. First one I visited in Boston and could not believe how much I was bothering the guy behind the counter by ordering ice cream! I am so sorry that you do not want to be here but do not give me an attitude about it. He proceeded to throw the pen and toss the receipt at me to sign. This was after the girl that he was working with grabbed his… well you can fill in the blank. Only got the second star because the ice cream was good. If you plan on going there do not think of ordering anything, how dare you!

Automatically a 4 because I love Coldstone’s. It’s my favorite ice cream place ever, I’ll eat this on the coldest winter days and on the hottest summer nights. But I hate that the place is so narrow, it is very awkward when it is busy(which is usually the case) — and there are no seats. They raised their prices a bit though :/

It’s a coldstone. Tons of ice cream flavors, good staff, fairly quick, and clean. Now only if it can get a bit warmer and stop snowing so I can enjoy my Cheesecake fantasy more!

I love ice cream. I mean, who doesn’t? Cold Stone is delicious– offering a number of different flavors of ice cream and countless toppings to mix into whatever creations you can think up. This Cold Stone location, however, is not great. Actually, to put it frankly, it sucks. My friends and I have had issues getting birthday cakes there before and the service is always sloooooow and really unhelpful. There’s one guy in particular who I swear doesn’t officially work there– I think he might come in and open up the store and take it upon himself to serve ice cream just for the love of it. It takes him about an hour to scoop up one order and if you request something crazy like coconut flakes or choco chips you REALLY throw him a curve ball. Overall, I would recommend Cold Stone but if you can avoid this location, at least until they get better management, then do it. Head to Ben & Jerrys inside the Pru instead…

We went back to get yet another birthday cake(since they are really tasty) for yet another co-workers birthday and again had a terrible experience. We were flat out denied when asking to have the cake written on. There were FIVE people working there! 5! And not one of them knew how to write«Happy Birthday» with blue icing! I almost wanted to jump over the counter and do it myself. I think my time at this coldstone is done, for birthday cakes at least.
