I recently moved into Boston and worked with Bill on finding a new position in the web development industry.
He was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. It only took him a couple of weeks from the point of first contact, to find me the position that I wound up being offered and accepting.
I couldn’t be happier with the service I received, and will certainly return in the event of my needing another position.

I worked with three different recruiters here, Scott, Bill, and Chris, and my experience with all of them was roughly the same.
Rather than giving you the job information upfront, they’d insist on phone calls before telling you so much as the job title (during work hours, I’m in an open office, job hunting under the radar… yeah), like they hadn’t heard of email before. Supposedly this was so they could «tell you more detailed information» (not that they had it) but I suspect it was really to make their sales pitch more effective — harder for you to turn down an interview offer if they’re talking to you on the phone, than sending you a PDF description by email. Also, it was convenient for them to fudge information about the job description and then lie about it later if there wasn’t a «paper trail.»
They often knew very little about the positions they were trying to push on you, and often confused or just made up job titles/​responsibilities. A «great blend of dev, UX, and product design» according to them, is definitely «code monkey» when you’re talking to the actual company’s interviewer.
I actually ended up interviewing for a COMPLETELY different job than they said I was interviewing for at one point, and finding out when I asked «Uh, sorry, what position did you say I’m interviewing for? …Oh.»
They get paid per placement and they’ll try to sell you hard and fast on positions that are obviously a horrible fit.
Might be alright if you’re a programmer looking for a straightforward dev contract, but I couldn’t remotely recommend them for anything else. The entire thing was a giant waste of time, and left a bad taste in my mouth.
