C Spa

As a guy looking for some fast friendly and affordable spa services without all the pretense, I was happy to discover Crystal’s spa and in a great location to boot. I’ve enjoyed the spa at the W, but then again — you pay top dollar for services there as well, and sometimes I don’t have the spare time to enjoy the extras in the locker areas, so when I’m just looking for something a bit more affordable that easily fits my busy schedule, visiting C Spa was the perfect find.
I also made my booking online, and it all went off perfect without a hitch — always a nice feature!

Excellent! Very clean, which is the most important thing, especially for waxing. The ambiance is calming as well. Crystal is really friendly and makes sure you are comfortable throughout the experience. Finally, the prices are reasonable, which is so hard to find in Boston! I recommend this highly.

What a great little spa! The owner, Crystal, was so welcoming, professional, and she is knowledgable with sports massage. She knew I was a runner and really worked my IT band. When I went for my run the next morning, I felt like a new person! It’s amazing what a massage can do! I will definitely be back.

I recently bought two coupme deals for C. spa and used the opportunity to get both a therapeutic facial and a swedish massage at C. spa. Crystal was great about getting me in quickly and allowing me to do both in one visit.
The massage was excellent — Crystal has truly fantastic hands! I REALLY want to go back for a deep tissue massage, since I like lots of pressure ;) hint, hint for those of you buying me presents…
This was my first facial ever, and I appreciated how knowledgeable Crystal was about skin. She carefully explained the process before we started, and then went into detail about the products used during each segment of the facial. I left feeling relaxed and with incredibly smooth soft skin! Loved it!

After going thru their website I sent an email for an appointment. The response was vague and not the times convenient to me. I responded requesting an daytime appointment. They responded that such were available. So I called and left a voicemail indicating that the email system didn’t seem to work so I gave a time of 1pm during the week on a day they are open. I left my telephone number. NO RESPONSE. I would say that this may be a one person operation which isn’t quite up to professional standards. I give up. They lost a potentially regular client.

This was honestly one of the best facials I’ve ever had! I get facials often for some adult acne and was extremely impressed with Crystal’s work. The price was incredible as I had a coupon but moving forward, it may be a tad out of my price range. The services are definitely worth it though. That being said, if I am in need of a good facial with someone who truly understands skin and shares great skin care advice to her customers, I would still trek out to the Copley area from Somerville.

I’ve had waxing done for the past 8 years in Canada and the US. Hands down C Spa was the best experience I’ve had! I just got home from my appointment and can’t wait to book a fascia massage.
C Spa’s location is central and completely safe (Beacon Street near MIT Mass. Ave. bridge). The business is easy to find and in case you need a little help signs are posted on the front of the building. Parking is easy to find.
The space is clean, inviting and privacy has been made a priority. Crystal’s demeanour had me instantly relaxed and she was on time for the appointment. She was professional and very experienced. Whether you want to talk or stay silent during the course of your service, Crystal is respectful.
Love the space, the owner! and the thorough, leave no wax behind wax job.

After a rather busy week at work, I got to unwind with a Swedish Massage at C. Spa! Crystal was pleasant, and kind, and the room was spacious and calming. I’ve been to many spas on Newbury Street, I am tired of the snootiness and lack of personalization I get. It’s so nice to find a hidden gem in the neighborhood — without the noise, traffic and attitude.
I was able to get an after work appointment, and confirmation phone call — which is always a plus.

I am a pretty picky person when it comes to spa treatments. I frequent many of the high-​end spas in the Newbury Street area and so my expectation is pretty up there. So when I say that Crystal at C. Spa is great, it is no exaggeration! The space is small but cozy and once you are on the table for either a facial or massage, you will be in for a treatment that will rival any of those high-​end places. Crystal is very knowledgeable and she is happy to share regimens with you that don’t include buying a ton of products, though she does carry a very good line of skin care products. A tip: take public transportation there. Parking can be a bit tricky over there but it is super convenient by train and even more if you live in the area.
