Kind of like Dunkin Donuts for bagels. My 3-star rating doesn’t mean it’s bad, but it’s really just«a-ok». I find it conveniently placed in Longwood area where the working professionals can get their morning fresh breakfast & coffee and it’s also a great afternoon snack place for college students nearby such as myself. I wish that their hours were extended because sometimes I don’t get out of class until after 3pm. Overall, it’s a great selection of bagels and sandwiches but it’s mediocre. Also I have had the membership before, and I think it’s worth it. You can use it anywhere in the states.

Stopped by with a coupon for a free bagel and cream cheese(TIP: you can get one too just by signing up for their email list)! It wasn’t crowded at all at 3PM on a Friday, which was nice – the place is actually pretty big inside and looks nicely kept up. The coupon excludes certain bagels but when I asked the staff member who took my order which ones it was good for she said any! Score! I tried to seek out the healthiest bagel and there was one 12-grain left, so I went for it, added light plain cream cheese, and opted not to toast it. The bagel was kind of hard(possibly because it was so hearty, possibly because it was the end of the day), but had a satisfying taste. The light plain cream cheese was every bit as good as regular(so much so that I hope she didn’t actually out regular)! I kind of wish they had little cups of cream cheese they could have given me because I was hoping to save it for later, but I didn’t think to ask in time, so I’m not sure if they are available. Overall the staff was nice and the bagel was not bad, but could have benefited from a microwave to soften it a bit.

Since I work very close by, I go to this place all the time. Initially, I wasn’t a fan of the place but they made some changes to their eggs for the better in the last few years and now it’s certainly the best bet for a breakfast sandwich. Try the western.

Got their garlic bagel with a hazelnut coffee. Great bagels! They gave good service and tasty bfast… cheap. I love how the bagels are fresh and after being toasted they had a good crunch but still fluffy center … Two thumbs up !

Just a quick update from my last review… I went here for lunch today and got the«Herby Turkey» sandwich(cute and clever name. I agree) and I asked for it on a skinny bagel as they advertise. Woot woot! Lunch under 500 calories while eating out! yay! Or so I thought… The woman asked me which kind of bagel I wanted and I was actually caught off guard because I assumed they only made one or two types of «skinny bagels». OH, for those of you who don’t know what that is… it’s a bagel but about half the thickness. Still get your carb craving out of the way without the extra calories! Anyway… I chose an everything bagel, probably not the healthiest but don’t judge, and I watched her take a normal everything bagel. I’m glad I bit my tongue and didn’t announce«I SAIDSKINNY!!! LIKE I WANTTOBE!» and instead watched what happened next. She cut the bagel, like anyone would to make a sandwich. THEN she cut it again. She basically shaved the middle ½ inch out of the middle of my bagel. Apparently, the«skinny bagel» is just a normal bagel with less product. Same price. Now the price didn’t bother me, I know. it’s extra work to cut it twice. But what really got my goat was watching her take this perfectly goof ½″ of the middle of the bagel and just toss it! That’s such a waste! I don’t understand how they don’t BAKE these«skinny bagels» they advertise everywhere. Wouldn’t it save dough, effort, and energy to simply make them smaller from the get go? I enjoyed my sangie, but I would have rather eaten that sliver of bagel than watch her just throw it away!

Bagels here are a little stale and the flavors aren’t quite as interesting(or delicious) as at Einstein or Panera. There is a decided lack of dessert bagels. If you want a dessert bagel, go to Panera. If you want a traditional bagel, go to Einstein. This location is a decent place to study though, as it’s a little less busy than the other Longwood cafes and there are some comfortable booths with good back support.

After going around exploring some of Boston for the day, my bf and I were freezing cold and ready to get something warm to eat before our flight back to California. This was conveniently located on the same street where we were staying so we went inside. We ordered one of their breakfast bagels with eggs, bacon, cheddar, and spinach to share. The cashier was a very sweet, tall African American man. I wish I got his name but he was the first nice person we met that day. I told him I wanted my bagel to-go and he said«Why would you want this to-go? You should enjoy this here!» I told him I was out of town and had a flight back to San Diego. He smiled and wished me a safe flight back to California. It really warmed me up especially after being in the freezing cold all day. A little can go a long way! Anyway, back to the food. The bagel was crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The cheddar was perfectly melted and the egg/bacon/spinach were perfectly seasoned. It wasn’t too expensive like Einstein Bagels and the portion was just right. The service was quick and the eating area was kept clean. Nice place for a quick bite!

Shop could be cleaner/tidier and the bagels could be fresher. Still, glad this place is in my work neighborhood.

Went here for breakfast and was not impressed. Will try their salads next time but for the price we paid, I would have rather ate nothing. Just a nicer dunkin donuts in my eyes.

I am a complete sucker for a good bagel. In fact, I would take dates to get bagels with me, this is how obsessed I am. Smear it with cream cheese, add some meat, vegetables, or hollandaise sauce. Seriously, whatever you put on it, make sure it’s good. I had the pleasure(or displeasure) of getting a spinach and hollandaise sandwich from BBB a few months ago. And it was good, don’t get me wrong(I wouldn’t say the best). Now, maybe I’m just being a bitch, but if you have a restaurant(especially a fast food place) conveniently located(note: this BBB is right off the Longwood Green D line, by the corner of Riverway and Longwood Avenue, by all of the Fenway Colleges, but most of all — near all of the hospitals) you ought to have enough staff to get the people in and out quickly.

They say familiarity breeds bagel love. I work nearby and this Brueggers is a standby for consistency, and salvation on my measly 30 minute work break. There are one or 2 quite friendly and sincere staff that are very welcoming and nice to talk with! The butternut squash soups is straight up good! I like to get my bagel and cream cheese with roasted red peppers and cucumbers! Don’t be afraid to put some salad on your bagel-to digest all that crème and bread. You can taste other cream cheeses-like pimento olive. Create your own salads are helpful-you can get mandarin oranges, nuts, peppers, etc. The coffee can be okay-Green Mountain-but be careful because they don’t make fresh coffee a priority. The fudge brownies and chocolate cookies are pretty good, sometimes the other cookies are gross sweet. The tuna is gross, and the chicken tastes cheap. But it is what it is, convenience food in a business suit with a Martha Stewart touch. That being said-there are healthy and somewhat fresh choices. There are clutch leather chairs to take a snooze in and comfortable booths. Oh, and the music speakers in the bathroom are sexy. The bathroom is my serenity visit before work– It’s nice to have a little franchised community in the serious, and busy, Longwood area. Bagel Me–

Worked an event nearby for Yom Kippur and because I am not Jewish I was privileged to get breakfast before hand. Dropped in here and got a very yummy apple bagel that is clearly seasonal with some Pumpkin Coffee. It was really aromatic and yummy. I was suprised at how cool bagel places have gotten. Staff was good and since it was a quiet morning they werent overly talkative or rude because it was empty. Perfect medium. Good job guys! Also this place shows you where it makes teh bagels so that is always a plus to see them make the food.

If you cannot understand the word«lox,» you don’t get to work at a bagel shop. The end. And honestly, if you think Bruegger’s bagels are good, then it’s finally time to leave Wyoming and see the world.

one word: BOTTOMLESSCUP!!! if you work in the area, this is clutch. you get unlimited coffee, soft drinks, tea, and hot chocolate for $ 150 for the year! i literally go 3 times a day, so each drink is like a quarter. sooooooo worth it!!! the staff is WONDERFUL. i honestly talk to them more than some people in my office. they really brighten my morning(and mid-morning and mid-afternoon). the bagels and sandwiches are good too. however, i do think the soup is a little overpriced(no place is perfect i guess). i LOVE bruegger’s!!!

I am a really big fan of Breugger’s bagel/chicken tarragon sandwiches. This location is clean, efficient, and conducive to having a conversation/getting work done. The brownies are also delicious(mid-priced to expensive – consider yourself warned – they seem to be made from pure chocolate and sugar, a potent and addictive combination).

Bruegger’s Bagels — and the stores — are pretty much standard across the board. On the smaller side(not as big as NY bagels, which I grew up eating), but tasty. And I looooove their sandwiches. They’ve definitely grown the menu over the years and have a lot of new and intriguing options. For the first time, I order bulk catering. The people I spoke to on the phone were very helpful and the girls who helped us when we picked it up were SO patient and helpful! They went over and above with what they gave us(sugars, cream, milk, stir-sticks, etc.) but DID forget the teas for our box of hot water! Understandable, but still — not good for us! I would definitely give them a second chance for catering though.

I’m definitely a fan. I work in the area and there aren’t many options for grabbing lunch. At Bruegger’s you can rely on the fact that you will get a tasty meal. I also am part of their bottomless coffee club. What a deal! The staff can be a tad disorganized and the manager is quite tough on her employees, but I am a frequent visitor nonetheless.

Kind of a hike from my building, but I’ve still been here a few times. I find it odd that even when it’s not busy, my order still takes FOREVER! Feel like I spend a good portion of my lunch break waiting to order, or waiting for my order. Another pet-peeve of mine is charging for refills on fountain soft drinks. The sandwiches and soups are generally pretty good, but for the same food, I can go to Souper Salad at BI. Bruegger’s however does seem like a great place to pick up bagels and coffee for a morning meeting.

I have an office in this building so I frequent the place. The bagels are always good/fresh. The soup is phenomenal. The prices are pretty reasonable for some things(bagels, salads, etc) but is a tad high for others(soup, juices, etc). The staff is awesome, GREAT people — they are always polite and efficient. If gets pretty busy sometimes, but even then you will never have to wait too long. This place is a great alternative to the loud Galleria and fast food options!
