Best service! Love how they have lemonade for an ice tea– makes a great half and half!

Sun/29 May, 7:40 am: — Was here to wait for the 9 am opening of Pauli’s for a lobster roll. Was a $ 17 Über ride from Boston Logan Airport(Lyft doesn’t pick-up from the airport, Über does solely from«Limo Pick-Up», which at Terminal C is Level 2). — Great prices. Large Hot Tea was only ~$ 2.50 and Bottle Water ~$ 1, all pretty reasonable considering it’s Boston and this is a nice, comfy establishment. — There’s a leather(?) sofa, love seat(?) and easy chair in addition to regular seating and counter seating at the window to people watch pedestrians/the slow traffic along Salem St. — The free wi-fi is a fast 4.7 Mbps according to . Just ask the barista for the password. — Barista really cool. — For my hot tea order, just had to pick out a tea packet from what’s available in front of the cashier, approx a dozen teas to choose from.

I’ve been coming to this location for years. I’ve seen customers bring in their dogs and have it be no issue. As I’m standing here, someone has a dog, but today the manager very rudely told me I could not have my dog in the store. I have no problem if dogs are not permitted, but why didn’t any of the other employees say something to me? I also ordered a few sandwiches and when I get back home of course the order is wrong. I come back and not one employee has anything to say, no apology, eye contact or anything! I dont understand why there is no customer service here. The owner should really train their staff better or get a new manager that will.

There was about a 10 minute line which was fine, it was Sunday morning, I expected that. I ordered a medium iced coffee with milk and sugar and it came out right away. Unfortunately it was very watery and tasteless. I sat down and spent 30 minutes trying to connect to the wifi. I asked around and other customers were having trouble with it going in and out. After 30 minutes of trying I gave up and had to move on the a coffee shop with more reliable wifi as I visited to get work done. It was very frustrating especially because I already purchased something and sat down.

We were staying in the North End for the Boston Marathon and found this coffee shop not too far from our place. I myself don’t like to waste calories on my coffee, but nor can I drink plain black coffee… I always opt for Iced Skinny Vanilla Latte when I can and the one at Boston Common Coffee Co. was delicious each morning! Their pastries and other coffee drinks were quite tasty as well according to my parents!

When I lived in the north end this place was my life line. After working all day, a hard night of drinking and an early class to get to this place really hit the spot. It’s always a treat to come back but I have to say the one in downtown crossing does not compare to the location in the north end. I was there a few months back and I could not get over how rude and nonchalant the baristas were. That being said I am grading the north end location with 5 stars, thanks for helping me get through my 20s, graduate college, bond with my future husband and then some

I can’t say for every Boston coffee company but they’re cinnamon sugar brioche bun is amazing! I got it about 9am and throughly enjoyed it with my hot black coffee.

This place has potential. It’s got the cozy neighborhood feel, a decent selection of pastries and sandwiches, and a prime location on Salem Street. That being said, the service is — without fail, and despite seemingly daily turnover of staff — HORRENDOUS. I’ve been living nearby for the greater part of 2 years, and have gone often — each time, hoping for some kind of(shawshank) redemption, and each time, not getting it. The personnel is consistently(and disarmingly) apathetic, unfriendly and clumsy. They forget and mix up orders often, and then make you feel like you are the one who has inconveniently erred. They gossip to each other in front of customers. They move at a pace so slow, Marcel the Shell look likes Usain Bolt… I was holding out on writing this review, until the same story unfolded today. Asked for egg sandwich, had to repeat things I wanted on it three times. Stood aimlessly for the next 10 minutes, and noticed orders placed after me going out. Asked about this, the crew speaks amongst themselves and conjure up: «There was a mix up. It’s coming.» After another 10 minutes, I am given the sandwich, without any apology or acknowledgement of the error. To boot, the coffee /lattes are just OK. Pro Tip: save your breath and go to Peets, Starbucks or any other nearby establishment. Your patience will thank you. It is my hope that the management reads and takes note of these negative reviews. Unclear if the rapid staff turnover is a product of employees leaving or being asked to; either way, improvement just ain’t happening. WOMPCITY. Sour Grapes of Wrath. A generous 2 stars.

Hubby and I love to try local coffee shops when we travel. Starbucks is usually a last resort only because that’s what we get at home 95% of the time. So anytime we go on a trip — an hour away or a thousand miles away — we enjoy searching for local spots. Happened to wander right past the Boston Common Coffee Co. on our way back to our hotel and decided to stop in and get a coffee to go. I don’t ever get regular coffee; mocha lattes are my thing. This one was very creamy and pretty good. Not as sweet as I normally like, but one packet of raw sugar saved the day, and I very much enjoyed my coffee. If I was a local, I’d definitely make the Boston Common Coffee Co a regular stop for me.

Ordered the Nutella latte. It was very chocolaty and rich so just be prepared. I liked it. Service was a… bit…slow considering no one else was ahead of us. But our drinks were good and the baristas were very friendly. Their cookies looked delicious but we were full from lunch so we didn’t eat anything. I’d definitely want to try one. Cute little coffee shop in the North End!

Okay I actually adore this area! It reminds me of a Boston variant of Central Perk café from Friends. It is extremely difficult to locate a coffee shop in the city you could only sit on the sofa and hang out. And it does not damage that they make the finest ice coffees(and the right manner! Should you ask for sugar they are going to pour hot java so it melts down, before decanting the ice and remainder of the liquid). And their Curry Chicken Salad Wrap is the greatest

Hip coffee shop, nice ambiance, plenty of seating I’ve only been here once, just to get a chai latte so I can’t really put my review on for their coffee. But, they have these side coconut nibbler cookie things that are really delicious and great for those who love raw snacks. I recommend it. I hear a lot about their new york style bagel, but… go to NY for that. ;)

I went here for a quick cup of coffee and experienced horrible customer service. I didn’t receive a greeting from the staff and when I asked for 2% milk they refused. I ultimately did not feel welcome and left sad. The coffee was decent, the service was not.

This if for the New Yorker. Ever since I left New York I have been trying to get a bagel that I could actually want to return to. Boston Common coffee Company is a place I can return to and get the New Yorker bagel that I loved so much. I had it on an everything bagel it was fresh, perfectly toasted and I couldn’t be happier. I will go out of my way to come back to Boston common coffee Company for my breakfast bagel.

Sooo I really like coffee and this was just ok to me. To each their own when it comes to the perfect mocha, but for me it was bitter and milky with very little mocha. Drinkable and not bad just nothing to go out of your way for either.

The coffee here is really good, and I also highly suggest the banana bread heated up with some butter. Overall I think this place is really good, sometimes there’s a long line, but no complaints!

I read a bunch of reviews that say they’re slow with food and espresso drinks but I must’ve come at a good time because my wait time for my latte and my breakfast sandwich were both super reasonable! This is the only place in Boston that I’ve been able to find a wheat everything bagel so they get automatic points in my book! Also this is a legit breakfast sandwich, no egg patties here. The latte could be stronger and they could have gone a little heavier on the hazelnut but those are really just personal preferences of mine; the espresso is smooth and the medium is way bigger than I expected which I view as a good thing. I’ll definitely be back to try a pastry. Side note I also like the comfy chairs and the fact that I can charge my phone here

No matter what location I attempt to get a latte at, it is always a disaster. Either the wrong drink is made or they forget to make my drink all together. This time, someone took my latte by mistake and I was standing there for 20 minutes waiting. Finally they give me a latte after I tell them I never got my drink. I got it and it is cold. I ordered a hot latte for reason. I just cannot give this place another try. By the way my drink order is not difficult. I order a latte with almond milk. That’s it!

I stopped here because, well: A) I needed a quick caffeine fix, B) I needed to use the restroom. Boston Common Coffee was the first coffee shop that I saw, so I dragged my friend straight there. Good thing it fulfilled both of my needs. :) I love that the floor plan is open and airy, with plenty of free tables even on a Sunday morning. There are PLENTY of baristas behind the bar ready to make you your drink or heat up your pastry, which is nice for the customer because that means no to short lines! This place is fantastic, though, mostly because of its location. Salem Street is super cute and far enough removed from the really touristy area to allow for some room to breathe. There are also plenty of restaurants and other cafes/bakeries on either side of the coffee shop, which really makes this place a one-stop shop!

Came in looking for a local cup of roasted coffee and they said this was the place. Ordered an espresso to wake me up. I like my coffee smooth and a little sweet, not overly strong or bitter. With a little warm milk, this turned out to be the espresso I was looking for.

So hard to choose a café to hang out in the North End. For days when you just don’t feel like canoli, and just want a coffee + cookie, this place is a good choice. The couches are cozy, the coffee is great, as are the cookies.

As my brother fondly calls it, BoCoCo Co, was a dear treat to us during our stay in Boston as it was a mere few steps from our Airbnb. Every morning, my mom walked over to get us coffee. She adored this moment of city life. The convenience was there. I stuck with the basics most days with a medium americano. Strong and hot. For a post-graduation ceremony pick me up, we all popped in for some joe. In this case, I switched it up and got a cappuccino with almond milk. Caution: contents hot. I seared all the taste buds off my tongue. So, patience pet. Pause for a while before sipping. Blow on said coffee until the temp has reached goldilocks status. Inside the shop, it was filled with people stopping in for a coffee to go, lunch and laptop time, and people resting on the many cozy couches. A fine place for an afternoon pit stop and pick-me-up, I must say.

Best gosh darn coffee shop in the North End. This is the place the local yuppies go and the best place in town to get an iced hazelnut. The baristas there are always super nice, even when its super busy with a line going out the door on Saturday and Sunday mornings. You can buy their own coffee beans and numerous flavors… it’s actually absurd how many flavors they have. Here’s what to order: Quiche Sausage egg and cheese Jalapeño cream cheese

A great coffee shop in the North End. Not only is the coffee really good, the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and basically amazing. I love coming to BCC to study. Most coffee shops fall victim to the«your music is too loud» complaint. However, BCC keeps the music low and maintains an awesome soundtrack of old 80s jams! Whenever I’m in the North End, I always make sure to stop by for a quick cup of coffee. Plus, I will be the happiest person on earth if they bring back the Nutella latte!

Ok, I really like this spot! I despise Dunkin Donuts food and this place right here takes the cake. You wouldn’t think it’s a huge place, but upon entering, it’s so spacious and very comfortably fitting for anyone to sit down and enjoy their drinks/food. Most of the employees are all very nice and helpful with deciding what’s best. Tons of coffee flavors(that are very robust and quite flavorful), the best egg & cheese sandwiches around(REALEGG!!!), and the bagels are soooo good. I always get the asiago cheese :) With the prices being so cheap(medium coffee and egg/cheese sandwich appx. $ 7) I’ll most likely become a regular! Added note: If you’re getting anything that needs to be made in the kitchen, expect a 5 – 20 min wait… ugh.

Boston Common Coffee… are you the Starbucks of Beantown? It seems so. I came here on a whim for breakfast, after a morning of roller coaster walks on the quiet streets of the North End, and finally ended up on Salem. This was literally one of the only cafes on the block and I couldn’t walk another block, searching for food. Is Boston on a shortage of coffee shops or something? Very Starbucks-like café. The breakfast foods aren’t very different than from any other café; bagels, croissants, muffins, scones, etc. But the panini sandwiches sound pretty good. I got a Strawberry Yogurt + Granola with Hibiscus Tea. Nothing special at all – just packaged strawberry yogurt in a large cup, but the portion was pretty huge – like 2 cups of yogurt in one big cup. The Hibiscus Tea was a little bland and had a mild taste between sweet and sour. I think I prefer it from Argo Tea. A little pricey, but suffices for a quick ‘n go-kind of breakfast. Plus, they have power outlets!

My family and I were starving upon our arrival to the city and a kind man suggested we check this popular coffee shop out. My parents both ordered a sesame bagel [because they didn’t have plain bagels] with jalapeño cream cheese. The bagel, nothing special but the cream cheese was fantastic! My brother and I both ordered the Portobelly panini which came with mushroom, spinach, goat cheese & roasted peppers. The goat cheese was crumbly not creamy, and I didn’t even taste the peppers, or maybe they meant black pepper because that was overly powerful. We also got two different sides along with the panini, a mixed green salad & three bean salad. I also ordered a small coffee, the cinnamon hazelnut thinking it would taste heavenly, but it tasted only of cinnamon, I couldn’t taste the hazelnut flavor at all, I was very disappointed. My dad however LOVED their latte. Service here was mediocre, my family couldn’t decide what we wanted and I noticed the cashiers becoming slightly annoyed. The overall place is great for studying though, I noticed a couple students & others getting work done. It doesn’t get too loud in here and there was plenty of seating!
