ATR Towing Services LLC

My car was damaged due to falling ice, and Geico set up a tow for me yesterday through this company. First of all the hour wait turned into 4 hours, but no biggie. The tow truck driver called me because he needed turn by turn directions to my house. I asked him to put the address into his GPS, but he would not. After staying on the phone with him for 20 minutes he finally arrived. Once he loaded the car he asked me where the car was going. I had no idea since all of my paperwork was inside the house. He wanted me to call the repair shop, find out their address and hours, and find out if there was a drop box. Of course since the driver took 4 hours to arrive the shop was already closed, so my car got to spend the night in Mattapan (yay). They said it would be delivered to the shop in the morning. I called at 11am today to check the status, and of course the car hasn’t been moved yet. I’m waiting to see how long the repairs will take before I get my rental, so I’m pretty sure that I’m forced to be sans car until Monday thanks to these geniuses. If I am going to function as their dispatcher they could at least put me on the payroll. This company clearly doesn’t provide any details to their drivers, nor do they follow through on what they say. I would avoid them at all costs. UPDATE: The tow truck driver dropped my car at the shop with the keys in the ignition and didn’t tell anyone. Neither the shop nor tow company knew where my car was for the past three hours. When I called them to ask the exact address where the car was dropped, they told me the street name «I think». This company has impressively bad service. They work hard to suck and want you to know it.

I’d give ATR 4 stars if I received an itemized receipt for the alternator & engine mount I purchased that they installed. All I got was a total amount. This isn’t good business practice. I’m going to call them tomorrow and request they mail me a detailed receipt for the merchandise or adjust this review.
