Good basic lunch food. The Chicken teriiyaki is $ 3.99(plus tax) and can be enough for two. There is another chinese place at the front door of the lunch ‘mall’ this one is «way in the back» past the falffal place.

With a plate of teriyaki chicken, rice and veggies for $ 3, I figured Asian BBQ and Grill would either be a great steal in a convenient location, or a one-way ticket to nausea. As it turns out, the latter is true, but it was worth the risk. The food is not that bad tasting for the price — it tastes like pretty standard«mall chicken» — but it defniitely made me sick about an hour later. Live and learn.

I’m a sucker for a decent plate of teriyaki chicken and this place didn’t disappoint. For $ 4.26(including tax) I received a generous portion of chicken with steamed rice and vegetables. The«vegetables» were mostly cabbage with a few bits of carrot but I love cabbage so no complaints here. The chicken wasn’t fatty or gristly which was a pleasant surprise and the rice ended up being coated with just the right amount of sauce. They offer a printed menu right by the cash register which is nice because I like being ready to order before I get to the establishment.

Wow what a good deal! Tried it for the first time today and it was better than expected. I had passed by once and grabbed a menu as the prices were good, and my quick glance at their selection wasn’t bad. There have been a number of Thai Places opening in the financial district recently(3 within a half mile of each other) but an order of Pad Thai is $ 8 – 9, so I figured at $ 5, I had to give this a shot. Their food is made in the back but sits in pans buffet style behind the counter so you can see what you’re getting. I have never ordered Pad thai this way so quality could vary depending on when you go and how long it’s been sitting, but given the portions and prices I can’t imagine it sits there very long. Long story short, all the food looked good, but since I only got Pad that that’s what I’ll stick to here. It was chicken and shrimp pad thai, with an ok ratio of noodles to protein. It wasn’t overly greasy like it can be at some places, and hot sauce and peanuts are available on the side. It wasn’t the best I have ever had but was definitely still good, and as a previous poster noted, you could probably get to lunches out of it. They filled a large 3 section takeout box. The place is also pretty easily overlooked as it is inside the building and not really visible from the street. I’ll definitely go back and give some of their other stuff a try too.

For $ 7.50 I got a 1 item combo plate and an order of their fresh spring rolls. That is a really good deal for 1 lunch. but this is enough food for 2 lunches! Such a great deal for really good food. The spring rolls were being made while I was there so fresh is fresh! I really enjoy the yellow curry chicken. The curry is flavorful, there is a healthy portion of vegetables, and chicken. The chicken is lean and trimmed well. This is not a place that serves that greasy, fatty chicken– at least not in their curry. Their Pad Thai has been a bit dry so I suggest getting an add on so you are not just eating dry noodles. Aside from being a tab bit dry the Pad Thai is pretty good, plus they give you peanuts to sprinkle over it. They take credit/debit but there is a $ 6 minimum.
