First trip was a dud and I told myself I would not come back. After my wife and daughter begging me to go back I gave in, and I’m glad I did. I now order the flying pig and its great. I’m not sure about other items on the menu because I stick with what I know is good.

WORSTSERVICEPOSSIBLE. We got here and ordered 2 sandwiches ToGo. It has no been a total of 35 minutes we’ve been sitting here waiting for our food. I cannot get a refund because I payed through debit card. We’ve had people come through and get done eating their food before we have gotten ours. Multiple people also making ToGo orders have gotten their food and left. It has now been 40 minutes at this point and I’m honestly contemplating leaving. If I was allowed to, I’d get behind the counter and make it myself. Even the people are rude. WOULDNOTRECOMMENDTOANYONEELSE.

This place is gross. Greasy, expensive… just nasty. I’d rather get a roller dog from the Shell Gas Station across the street.

$ 13 for tea, bowl of bland tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. This is the second time I have tried this place. Won’t be a third time. Very disappointed.

After a lengthy doctor’s appointment, I decided to try the much talked about Tom and Chee on Airline Drive in Bossier city. Upon entering this place you’re hit with the colors of red and yellow; my assumption, to represent tomato soup and grill cheese. Since this was my first visit the server explained the concept behind Tom and Chee and their choice with their signature items. I decided to try a special sand which which was their Sweet Turkey and I made it a combo with a soup dipper and drink. My total was 9.21 $. I’m cool with that price for a combo(signature sandwich, soup dipper and drink). My sweet turkey sandwich was served on a perfectly buttered piece of wheat berry bread, with goat cheese, mozerella and dried cranberries. The goat cheese was not overwhelming and the dried cranberries added the perfect amount of sweetness. For my soup dipper I chose their soup of the day, the Beer cheese soup! Simply amazing. The soup was the perfect consistency with hidden gems of carrots and celery. The soup had a wonderful flavor. The sandwhich and soup were good, respectfully, by themselves, but pair them together and you can’t help but to go in for another bite. Although I told the server, I’d wait into my meal to try their s’more donut grill cheese(chocolate, graham crackers and marshmellow mascarpone) I’m too stuffed and refuse to commit the sin of glutney. So, i’ll just have to venture down airline again to try it; but I shall and I will be back! Awesome atmosphere. Great service. Nice prices. I will say though, its a long trek to get here, but once you make it… its worth it.

Super excited about this place! The grilled cheese donut was really sweet but the cheese was tangy enough to make it delicious. I’ve tried most of the sandwiches but the BLT and Chee is my favorite! If there is one near you check them out you won’t be disappointed!

Cute little spot. Kind of pricey for a sandwich but the bossier sandwich was delicious. I love the bread and the crispiness of the bread. The donut was different but the flavored meshed well. I would love to try the flying big one day and the classic donut.

I definitely have nothing bad to say about this place. The food was fast, reasonably priced, and well presented. I must say that I expected a mind blowing experience, and while I wasn’t mind blown, I was pleasantly pleased. The staff was friendly and smiling, and the owner Chris is a very nice guy. They are also military friendly, boasting a 10% discount. I will be back.

Went on opening weekend. Busy, as to be expected, but really wanted to try a grilled cheese donut after seeing a flyer in the mail. Got a an orginal/classic and strawberry lemonade. For what I paid(roughly around $ 10 or so for both, excluding tip), I was expecting more. Got them to-go, and both were sloppily put together and messy. But still delicious. I just can’t justify spending that much money for tiny little churched-up donuts. Staff was calm, cool, collected, friendly and efficient, despite a full restaurant with screaming, fussy children and haggard-looking parents. Willing to try again, but not in a big of a hurry to do so.

My family and I were super excited to try this place out. It’s awesome and just down the street from where we live.(Which is both good and bad) I tried their famous grilled cheese in a donut(just to try) and their tomato herb soup. WOW! I loved it! I loved the sweet and savory sandwich and the soup is just amazing. My husband had their Italian sandwich, also, good choice! The restaurant was clean and the staff were extremely nice and upbeat.

Meh. All hype. Not impressed. It smelled so bad in there, my husband didn’t even want to eat… But I was really looking forward to it and it was a long drive so we stayed. Hubs got the potato chipotle soup and said it was really bland. I got the bacon+blu with Mac and cheese and tomato cream soup. Soup was just not good at all. Sandwich was bland and way too greasy. Mac and cheese would have been good if it wasn’t so salty. Anyway… Hugely disappointed and feeling a little sick from all that grease. Service was fast and price is good. So there are the positives

I was really excited to try this place after seeing it on Shark Tank. Today we decided to make the trip from South Shreveport to North Bossier to give it a try. First thing that I found odd was that they close at 5PM on Sunday?! Pretty much eliminates the dinner crowd. Not a big deal(I probably should have looked at the hours before driving 25 min) We decided to order TOGO since it was 4:35 and I don’t want to be the jerk that makes everyone stay past closing. So after all the waiting… We ordered a number of items just to give things a try and both my wife I came to the same conclusion… we could have made this at home. It wasn’t bad by any means… It just wasn’t anything that had me saying«wow! I’d make that drive again.» Now we did order the donut for the kids to try and I’ll have to admit — that was amazing! I’ll give it another try if I’m in the area since I did order it Togo and that may have allowed for flavor to escape?

To start, would like to say the service is absolutely great. Lets hope it stays this positive. Thats not to say the food wasn’t good, it was. I tried the flying pig. The issue I suppose I had was it was good, not great, and honestly to some extent you throw bacon, cheese, turkey etc on a butter toasted bread its going to be delicious. Guess I was wanting that wow factor as its something can always make at home, however convenience has it’s price. Regarding price, its a tad high for portions but in par with similar competition(Newks, Panera etc). Call me fat but a grilled cheese and cup of soup just doesn’t fill me up. I decided to try the original grilled cheese donut as well. It was odd, but quite satisfying. Not sure how it worked, but it did and was the highlight of the trip. They have something good going for them here, and honestly very welcome to have them in the area.

Eh. I WANTED to love this place. The prices aren’t bad. The employees were nice and the restaurant is relatively clean. It was super busy when we arrived and we had to compete to snag a table. I liked that I could order a tiny soup to dip my sandwich in for $ 1. I liked the choices offered. I went with the Ham + Chee and the dipper of classic tomato soup. The wait wasn’t long. But the chairs for the bar and higher tables are super uncomfortable! Yeoch! I excitedly bit into my sandwich and was disappointed. My dad makes a better grilled cheese for a fraction of the cost. There was nothing wrong with the sandwich– it wasn’t too greasy and had good texture. But it was bland. It tasted like nothing. So boring. I also did not like my soup. It tasted metallic. My husband shared my opinions — he ordered the Tom + Chee and the chunky soup. We may go back to try a doughnut or perhaps I could be persuaded to try a more exotic sandwich at a much later date, but I really think we will leave the grilled cheese sandwiches to the cast iron skillet at home.

The menu is mostly versions of grilled cheese and tomato soup. There are options to add chicken, turkey, etc. to make it a more adult meal. They messed up my sandwich, but replaced it quickly and were pleasant about it. How about the taste? Definitely tasty. They use so much butter/oil that they can’t go wrong on flavor. It can’t be any healthier than a burger and fries, so don’t kid yourself about Tom + Chee’s effect on your waistline.
