This is just a great place to roll up on, by car or boat, on a hot, late summer afternoon or early evening. They have great bar food, burgers and fried seafood and if you’re feeling a bit more flush in the pockets, you can order something from the grill, a ribeye or NY strip for a shade under twenty bucks, but it comes with salad, veggies, bread and your choice of potato. They also sell buckets of beer. My friends and I, we just like to dock the boat, or park the car, and sit out on that back deck and knock out a few buckets and eat tons of greasy grub that’s bad for you but tastes really good and watch the sun go down over the river as the night slowly cools the day… Really, there is nothing better. It is a stay-​cation! Who needs Florida? Or the Gulf? When you got this down the road? It’s a lot cheaper and a lot less hassle!
