Lack of concern for credit card error
Suggestion:Hotel is great. Just monitor your credit card after stay.
My stay at Comfort Suites in Bossier City, Louisiana on ⁰⁹⁄₅ and 09/​06/​2015 was a delight. The hotel was clean, beds comfortable and breakfast was good. I’ve stayed at this location before and have enjoyed the stay. However, I discovered after returning home that I was charged twice (on 2 separate credit cards) for this stay. I contacted hotel management on 09/​09/​2015. They quickly realized that they were paid twice for the same stay (one was prepay) She not only showed a lack of concern but made another mistake by placing another charge on my card rather than a credit. When I called back she informed me that this was normal procedure used to issue a credit (authorize another charge and then a credit). During this process my available credit on my master card was reduced by $ 350+. When I called customer support to complain, they also told me that this was normal procedure and I would have to wait 3 to 5 days for the credit to post and charge disappear. As of today, there is $ 350+ on my credit card that I can not use. All because of a mistake made by hotel staff. As an apology they offered me a night at one of their lower end hotels-​Econo Lodge. I never thought I would be treated this way by a big name hotel.

Clean, modern, affordable hotel with sizeable rooms, breakfast included, a manager’s happy hour every night w/​$ 1 beers and appetizers, and helpful staff. Oh, there is a pool and fitness room as well, both clean and modern. I will definitely stay here again if i am back in the area for business.

We have stayed here twice, I travel for work and this is the hotel my wife and I choose for vacation, close to the Harrahs casino, friendly staff, clean, and the suites are very nice

Hubby and I stayed here on our leisurely return to the DFW metroplex from NOLA. While originally I thought this place was kinda ‘out there,’ it was new and across from the Harrah’s complex and Louisiana Downs. No races so it was quiet.
Mikolas checked us in. Answered our questions and handled our reservation courteously. The room had a nice separate couch like sitting area and was new and modern. Clean too! We liked it very much. Bathroom large and accommodating with a nice glass shower that could fit two very easily. Door did not look large enough for w/​c. But I did see a wheelchair bound guy at breakfast and would think the accommodation fit him well just from the bathroom set up we found. It was nice.
Good hot breakfast and very nice eating area. I enjoyed the yogurt and cereal.
Jessica at the front desk at check out was friendly and informative about the area, which, we appreciated very much.
Walking downtown checking out its architecture and history we walked into the old Sears building undergoing major renovation. Guy working there let us know about the Blind Tiger restaurant by the bridge. Best Cajun food we had the whole trip!

I have stayed at probably 30 different hotels this year. This has been by far my best experience. Very helpful and friendly staff. They served complementary pizza just because. The TVs were all in HD and the TV remotes had a guide button!!! (guys get it). The breakfast was super good as well. Smoked sausage and potatoes!!! I will never stay anywhere else as long as I am in within 80 miles!!! Thanks for a wonderful night

this is my second stay here, both times for business and both times were great, super clean, management very responsive and friendly.
My first stay was only for 3 days, but a month later I was here for 2 weeks, one of the managers V is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met.
its almost brand new and everything is really nice. very close to Silver Star steakhouse which is a huge plus.
