OHMYGOODNESS. No frills with the food but who cares– this is the cutest café around. Service is super friendly, coffee is delicious(when they’re busy you may have to flag someone down to get a refill), but the ambiance and the local folks coming in(we went on a Sunday morning) was just perfect. Didn’t have to wait for a table(although I can see how we would!) and there’s a long counter w/the swivel bar stools if you’re solo and want to grab a bite without taking up an entire table. There’s something to be said when the diner has mix/match/no match coffee mugs — one of my favorite qualities in a breakfast joint. This place is too far out of the way to visit often but I’ll definitely make it a point to get back here. ** Check out all the old farm tools, advertising, signage and other knick-knacks on the walls — you could play ‘I spy’ for hours on just a section of their completely awesomely overloaded walls.

What can I say? The name says it all. This an old school diner. So old school, in fact, my grandparents came here for lunch break when they were in high school. It is THE place to go for breakfast on weekends.(Their hours are a bit weird during the week) I love looking at all the old stuff the place is decorated with. From nationally know antiques to local photos and news clippings. The food is always stellar and the service is excellent! A must, when in the area.

This is a great place for breakfast, gravy was awesome. The food was exactly what you would expect from a good old fashioned café. The décor was interesting, definitely much more interesting than a chain. I would highly recommend this to anyone passing through that wants a good breakfast.
