We decided to stop-in for lunch. The ambiance was fine. Our server was very friendly/competent. Our water glasses were refreshed in a timely manner. The prices were reasonable. The food was good. Calamari: It was a nice sized portion that included both rings and tentacles. The breading wasn’t too and didn’t have any freezer burn to it. The marinara tasted good as well. I would get this again. Panini: The bread had a nice crunch to it, the chicken was moist. I really liked the marinated vegetables(eggplant/roasted peppers) but wished the portion was a little larger. The side salad was a disappointing/boring mix of the typical Iceberg/Romaine. The blue cheese dressing had a mayonnaise’y consistency and it contained no chunks of cheese. I would of preferred a mixed green salad, maybe a little Arugula/Spinach, etc. Stromboli: Both my wife and I though it was just okay. The dough itself was pretty tasty and had a nice crispness to it. However, the innards(ham/sausage) didn’t have the quality that I prefer. Overall, a-okay with me. I would stop-in again if I were in the area.

Three stars for the mussels. After that it was down hill. It should be byob– bring your own bread. Their bread is terrible. Red sauce is bad. If they used there mussel sauce for there red sauce that would work for them. Not coming back.

They have great pizza and appetizers. The fried calamari are my favorite. Their marinara sauce and tomato sauces taste great so their pizza is great. They have a great variety of options in the menus and their pizzas usually taste very fresh and yummy. Their flavors are classic Italian. I’ve had their mushroom pizza, white chicken pizza, and prosciutto pizza. They are all delicious. The pizza can get watery at times from the tomato sauce over time. But when they are fresh, they are great. I normally order them for pick-up and they are usually good about having the food ready in 20 minutes. Sometimes there have been miscommunication between the workers there that delayed us from receiving our order, but most of the time, their service is good. The restaurant is usually very clean and inviting. Mangia is overall a great neighborhood pizza place.

Very Good food, affordable and great service. Quality of food well exceeded expectations, the mid range prices and BYOB makes this place a winner. Will be coming back soon. WE had a large group and Carla did an excellent job of making sure we were taken care of.

I’ve come here four times each time I have gotten something different. The first time I stopped in real quick late at night to grab a slice of pizza needless to say that slice really wasn’t that good they were getting ready to close. Understandable though. Second time I got vodka rigatoni and it was absolutely delicious. Third time I came there with a bunch of girlfriends for dinner I got the margarita pizza with a girlfriend to split it was amazing. Fourth time I husband and I decided to order out I told him that we had to get this margarita pizza because it was amazing. Great service, great margarita pizza, and great vodka rigatoni highly recommend getting those if you ever decide to try this place out

Don’t let the strip mall location and upscale décor fool you — this is an authentic«Brooklyn Red Sauce Joint» right in the middle of suburban NJ. We have dined here many times(en route to visit both family in PA and friends at Fort Dix) and have found the food consistently excellent. We usually order family style(ie, share a bunch of dishes) and then finish with a pizza because we just want to eat everything! A normal dinner for us includes: mussels marinara, meatballs, rice balls, the amazing house salad with fresh moz, tomatoes and olives, fried calamari… and a pizza with toppings split(half veggie, half plain). The pizza is awesome — crispy, light crust, perfectly sauced and topped. Everything is totally delicious and really old school in flavor and preparation. We also never leave empty handed… always take home a 9″ tin of eggplant parm, a container of red sauce(marinara) and a loaf of bread, all of which freeze beautifully for another night of fantastic food when you just don’t feel like cooking. BYOB is perfect for us as we love how it keeps the bill affordable. Owner/Manager Stephen(a Brooklyn Transplant) is a super guy who truly cares about each and every customer’s experience. A bit of a hike for us, if we lived closer we’d be here once a week. A must-visit if you live in the area or are passing through… you will not be disappointed!

Hi, desperate for good delivery food in Bordentown area. Tried pizza and hot wings delivery more than 3 times to make sure we just didn’t have a bad night in the restaurant event. Been in food service for 30 years and sometimes you just have a bad night. Rule one, better to be 10 minutes late and have good food than be early and you can tell it was rushed. Two or more occasions the entire pie was sitting in the corner of the pizza box. Delivered Hot in the insulated bag, but must have been transported like a book on a shelf. The crust on the edges was fine, but the bottom of the pie is under cooked and rubbery. The crust has good flavor and good quality, but too many pies in oven(consistent oven temperature) not paying attention to cooking time, rushing things as mentioned above. Probably better to eat at the restaurant, if not right you can send back to fix it. But sometimes delivery is the only hot food option… Will try again, maybe try to explain crispy crust.

It was good, unfortunately this place is drowning in a see of other local Italian/pizza places. We stopped here once recently because we pull in the parking lot everyday to get coffee next door. Unfortunately there is no dish or items we saw or had that made us feel the need to return. If you are in the area driving by it is worth trying. However if you are looking for a special evening out, this is not that place. Everything is just mediocre… It’s good, but mediocre …

The very best brick oven pizza in this whole area and even better that New York Pizza. I love the margarita pizza and the anitpasto. The desserts are the bomb the tiramisu is legit the real deal. You can go wrong with the food here and its affordable. The staff is great too.

My girlfriend and I got the lunch special $ 7.95. Half of a sandwich with choice of soup or salad. I was disappointed with how my chicken panini tasted. There was no flavor. I got a salad with balsamic vinaigrette on the side. The dressing was just thrown together very bland. I asked the person who took my order had no idea how the food was prepared. It was impossible for me to get modification on my meal planning. Service is alright but not bad. When I return I’ll order something different.

I love this place! After moving back to the States after living in Italy for 4 years, I found this to a comfort spot. The gnocchi is awesome along with everything else I’ve tried there. Portions are large. Make sure to try their arancinni too, a typical Sicilian rice ball. Service is nothing to boast about but I have never had a negative experience. I’ve always found someone who speaks Italian so that is a plus to me. Lastly, they have some delicious desserts they get fresh daily out of Brooklyn NY.

Decent food in very good quantity. Had the calamari appetizer for $ 9+…could have made a meal out of it. Unlike most places, you get both rings and tentacles… tentacles are the best. For entrée we had the Mangia Signature dish with chicken, roasted red peppers, kalamata olives and artichokes. Good dish. Environment is a bit noisy(which means there are usually a lot of people eating there… a good sign) and the desserts, which I had no room for, looked great. As this is a BYO alcohol establishment, don’t forget your beer or wine… a nice savings because you don’t have to pay a restaurant up charge and there is no set-fee. Finally, the waitstaff were attentive and cordial. I’ll be back!

Where do I begin? First of all, if I could give it 0 stars, I would. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak, a large order of fries, and when I asked if they had grilled cheese for my two-year-old, I was encouraged by the owner to order the mozzarella corrozza(ph), which I did. The total came to $ 24.00!!! He told me I had to wait 45 minutes, which I thought was ridiculous, but it actually took an hour and 15minutes on a Tuesday night. The cheesesteak was watery, the fries were nearly cold, and the mozzarella corrozza(ph) was nothing more than two slices of greasy bread with a think slice of mozzarella in between, not even melted. My two-year-old wouldn’t even touch it!!! Not worth the $$$!!!

The food and service here are amazing! Wish this place was in DC! I had a scallop and clam pasta special and my Hubby had Rigatoni with sausage. Both meals were very, very good. Yes, you can tell they cater to their regulars, and they should. Only thing that would have made this trip any better would have been wine. It’s BYOB.

Would have really liked to try this place but I was not going to wait forever. Empty tables in sight but we were only two and the table was set for four. Left after about 10 minutes. Sorry Mangia… your loss!

Food is good but both experiences I’ve had, I was disappointed in the staff. First time I went there was first takeout. I was at the counter waiting to get my order and I was the only customer there but the 3 men behind the counter just ignored me and carried on their conversation in another language. After a few minutes another employee came by and saw I needed help and took care of me. I went back with some friends another night and we ate there. We wound up being the last customers there and the staff were staring at us, anxious for us to leave. It was very rude and uncomfortable. If it wasn’t for the good food, Id give it one star. I doubt I’ll be back.

Ate here for the 1st time a couple weeks ago. Had the seafood bisque and Stromboli. Both were good. The strom was bigger than I expected and I could have used another cup of marinara sauce since I did take half of it home, but it was good. I arrived just as they opened for the evening, so the service was a little slow. As I enjoyed my dinner, the crowd and the service picked up(Friday evening). For a girl from the Midwest, I thought this is a pretty good pizza and Italian joint. Little did I know that these places appear in almost every town. It is local, family ownership with the family working in front of you(in the kitchen, in the front and at your table).
