Long line but went by quickly and was worth the wait! I love ice cream and have never had bad ice cream. But I really enjoyed the ice cream here. I ordered a small and got one scoop but ½ and ½ ice cream flavors. It was so much ice cream and couldn’t finish it all! They have great and delicious flavors. If you are an ice cream lover, than I recommend coming here will visiting Boothbay Harbor!

Ice cream was ok but nothing special. My wife has had better cake batter and I didn’t love the butter almond crunch. Not bad, just not amazing.

Darn good ice cream in generous portions. The selection of flavors is fun and incentive. We’d gladly return!

Cute little ice cream shop in the downtown area. Nice atmosphere and a homey feel to it. There were so many ice cream flavors it was hard to decide. The sizes are HUGEEEE in my opinion(I got a kiddie scoop for just me and I felt it was a lot of ice cream). The actual ice cream was pretty good, not the best I’ve had but still tasty.

Yummy!!! We got the pistachio nut and chocolate Oreo fudge on a junior waffle cone! It was delicious! They were very creamy! My fiancé said the chocolate Oreo fudge is the best ice cream he ever had! Try it out!

Great ice cream shop! This place is popular and even with a long line, service was quick and the ice cream was worth any wait. The lemonade sorbet is outstanding and is perfect with the Maine blueberry sorbet. A real treat!

A once or twice a day stop while in Boothbay. The sector is to get a one scoop split or a double kiddie scoop. You won’t need more than that and then you get two flavors. Loved all 12 flavors we tried this trip. Grasshopper my favorite!

3 nights in Boothbay Harbor, 2 visits to this ice cream emporium. The found the line both nights to be less than in years past. We tried 3 different flavors — Bailey Island, chocolate lovers and jamocha almond. Each was creamy, rich and flavorful. A single scoop should satisfy most people.

Always a line out the door but worth it. About 50 different flavors and you can make your own Sundae at the sidebar or have them do it for you. tables outside to sit and people watch and comment quietly on who should be eating ice cream or not as they pass by.

Fabulous home made ice cream. Zillions of flavors, generous portions(one scoop Is enough for most mortals) and excellent waffle comes. I really enjoy the blueberry ice cream(with Maine blueberries) but you really can’t go wrong here.

While I know that Boothbay Harbor, and vacationing in Maine in general, isn’t about speed, I think there is only one thing I think it’s possible to do faster on a hot summer’s day than finish off a scoop of this ice cream in the entire area. And that’s get eaten alive by Maine mosquitoes. Set on the boardwalk, this place seems to be like a magnet for everyone in the area at any given time and the lines are insane. But the staff does do a very good job of getting people checked out as quickly as possible. This is partially due to not looking fondly on people who don’t know what they’re getting by the time they get to the register since there is signage *everywhere* about flavor and sizes. And what flavors and sizes they have here! Even with being warned, it still took until I got up to the counter to choose. From the normal(butterscotch swirl) to the nostalgic(bubble gum) to the confusing(blueberry cheesecake which my lady said was delicious) to the original(I still don’t know what the mosquito bite a Cherry Seinfeld is), they seriously have every base covered! I could barely finish my second scoop and their bubble gum ice cream left a big league chew sized bulge in my mouth with its sweet bonus candy. But I had to get two scoops just to try both flavors I wanted(or at least I thought I did at the time). For my taste, however, refreshing air conditioning and body cooling product aside, their ice cream might have been too creamy for my taste buds and for my stomach. Still, I’m glad I placed my pin on the map with the hundreds of others who make this the most popular place in Boothbay Harbor.
