Let me be the first to review this motel. We got into Boone late, the places we normally stay were full for Memorial Day weekend. Checked several other reputable chains and they were full. The last place I checked told me the Red Carpet Inn had vacancies. I called ahead and was told that only 26 of 64 rooms were occupied. First red flag. Checked in, went to the room. Looked like the room was last remodeled in the 1970’s. it was a non-smoking room, and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Second red flag. Pulled back the sheets and they had holes in them from cigarette burns. Third red flag. Woke up the next morning to find bloody sheets. Bedbugs. Last straw. To make matters worse, their room rate was only a few dollars less than what I paid a month or so ago at the(rhymes with chariot). I will sleep in my car before I ever set foot in a Red Carpet Inn. You have been warned. Edit to add that Company eventually refunded my room rate after BBB got involved.
