Freshly made crab wontons with real crab. Every thing tasted really good!

I’m not sure what happened to this place. I used to go a lot, but a few months ago, we went and had to worst curry I’ve ever had. They must have used salt in place of sugar. It was AWFUL. We sent it back and it came out again edible, but still awful. I used to drive up the hill just for this place, but now I’m afraid to after such a disgusting curry!

I placed an order of fresh spring rolls to go. I was the only person in the place for 5 mins still no food. A couple comes in and takes a table. Gets their food in less then 10 mins. I am still waiting for my damn spring rolls. They will not refund my $$$$ and I need to go back to work. Never will I go back there and spend 24 mins for food. I never got my food

This place has some of the best Thai food in Bonney lake(also, very good compared to the surrounding area.) We usually come here before or after a movie and they are always quick! We love the fresh rolls and the phad-see-ew…we haven’t had anything bad, so try it all!!!

Pretty good and tasty Thai restaurant. A little on the pricey side but me being Thai and Lao and usually cooking these dishes at home all Thai restaurants are expensive. Definitely would come back because of the great service

For a small town thay curry place this definitely takes the cake! We had the time I want on soup and the coconut milk soup both of which had brought. was season to perfection(i’ll be at larger than expected and the tofu and wants on we’re just ok — although the wonton soup had plenty of other amazing ingredients). Careerwise we went with the yellow and massaman curry — they are flavor were both absolutely spot on. P Highly recommend this place.

I hate giving negative reviews, but when a place is bad, it’s bad, so… We normally go to Koong Thong, in Auburn, because they’re fantastic and as good as the best places in Seattle. But they’re closed on Sunday’s and we really wanted Thai, so we decided to try Sumalee’s based on all the great reviews. Bad idea. Everything was extremely overcooked, Crispy orange chicken… dry. Very dry. Beef salad actually decent flavor and portion size, but all the beef was chewey. Chicken satay, which we ordered, and the guy said back to me(over the phone), I can’t comment on, because they sent chicken pad Thai instead. It was okay, but very bland., and dry. Luckily we had Sirracha in the fridge to save the day. Fried spring rolls were fine on the outside, but inside, they were mush. We couldn’t even eat them. We expected fresh, light veggies and glass noodles, but they were filled with a nasty, mushy, rice and veggie mixture. $ 45 down the tubes, and we won’t be ordering from here again. Expensive, overcooked, and bland, I recommend you avoid this place.

3 stars because they deliver and sometimes you just need to order something for delivery other than pizza. We ordered delivery once and pick up once. Delivery took over an hour! The time our food arrived everything was cold and seemed like it’s been cooked and sat out for a while. Their crispy garlic chicken(spicy) is probably my favorite dish here. SIgnificant Others likes their showering rama(spicy). Other dishes were ok.

This place was SO much better when it was All Spice Thai. Ordered a green tea and instead of a traditional Thai tea pot with cup, I was brought a green tea bag with a coffee cup of hot water. Ordered some chicken satay for an appetizer and it was bland. My main meal was a 4star chicken phad Thai which tasted like a 1star. I had a total of 6 pieces of chicken and the smallest dinner portion I’ve ever had at ANY Thai restaurant. Unfortunately this is the only Thai restaurant in the Sumner/Bonney lake area so even though its food is subpar, it will continue to remain open. Sure wish they had competition.

I have dined here on four occasions now and each time the food has been fantastic, the service was excellent and the price is comparable. I have recommended this place to others and they have the same opinion. Even my teenager, who is a picky eater, enjoys the food. Best Thai in town! I love the yellow curry and can’t get enough of the Thai tea. The chicken satay is also delicious.

Two words: dirty and rude. When I first got seated, my water glass still had someone else’s lip balm on it! Not only does this tell you that cleanliness is subpar, but when I asked my waiter for a new glass he rolled his eyes at me and brought me back the same glass but rinsed out! Awful. Won’t be back. Pad Thai was way too salty anyway.

Pretty darn good. Not quite 5 star but I will definitely be back. My biggest complaint is the amount of basil they put in their fresh spring rolls(though to be fair, I’m pregnant and strong scents and flavors of certain things are really off putting to me lately, also I’d have to say I’m really not a basil fan in general.) I have definitely had better fresh spring rolls, but the crab and cream cheese wontons were TODIEFOR!!! Some of the best I have ever had and I order them at any Thai place that has them on the menu. Really outstanding. Perfect shell and perfect filling in them. The crab tasted real and not even like imitation crab. As for the entrée, I ordered pad Thai with prawns, two stars. Boy was it spicy! I normally get two stars everywhere I go so beware that they err on the spicy side. I’d say this was more of a 3 star spiciness ranking. I was also disappointed that they did not have lime for the pad thai. I requested some and she brought over lemon, apologetically saying that was all they had, call me picky but I’ve gotta have fresh lime with my pad thai and phở. Other than that it was decent. Huge prawns, perfectly cooked. I didn’t like that they left the tails on but I guess that’s they way it goes now days. I can’t remember the last time I was at a place that still removed the shrimp tails for you, they should definitely do that in my opinion. I’ve definitely had better pad thai but I consider myself very very picky about it and to say this was decent works for me. Great pad Thai is very hard for me to find, but I keep trying (See my other reviews for my favorite Thai place that serves my favorite pad thai on earth, the drive is just too far for me. Sad face.) I swear I’ve just said«pad thai» about 600 times. Haha, sorry. Also, the customer service here was great and the staff were very friendly. Nice, clean and spacious atmosphere as well.

Had dinner here for the first time last night and I can’t wait to go back. There was no wait on a Saturday night, the inside was gorgeous and relaxing, the staff was so friendly, and the food was amazing. I got the chicken pad Thai and it didn’t disappoint, I also tried the spring rolls and the cream cheese wontons which were equally as amazing. The only downfall of the whole night was the stomach ache I got from eating way too much!

Love love love this place! I have only done take out as my boyfriend isn’t a huge fan of thai like I am. Each time I have ordered through Unilocal and each item has been a great experience. They even save my previous orders so all I have to do is choose what I want and place the order for pick up. I always pick the cash option when checking out so I don’t have to fumble with my method of payment or have the option of cash when I arrive. They staff here are super friendly! The place always smells so good of all the food they are cooking. It’s nice to walk in and see the kitchen, busy with all the take out and dine in orders. There are always people here, feels like they are always packed no matter the day. I do come in during dinner hours so that could be why. My first order here was their pad thai. Their pad thai is what I know and love. I have been to other places that the color is off, they leave out the carrots and sprouts to the side(which I prefer and what they do, or they mix it in(always leaves the bean sprouts soggy if they do that. The portions are huge too! I’m usually pretty darn hungry so I can eat the whole thing… and then some. My second time I had ordered their crispy garlic chicken and that was AMAZING!!! The flavors were just so good and the coating was crispy! That is definitely on my re-order list! This particular time I re-ordered my pad thai. Wasn’t as spicy as when I got it on my first visit, so maybe it depends on who is cooking. Oh well, I scarfed that baby down anyway. I would really like to come back and do the dine-in and when I do I will definitely update my review to include that experience. So if you’re looking for great thai food(to-go) here in the South King County/Pierce County area, come to Sumalee’s!

I’ve been coming to this location since it was brand new and called All Spices. I’ve always loved the place, not just for the food and staff but also because I love the way the inside is set up, and how beautiful it is! I’ve grown up coming here, through best friends, boyfriends and much needed mother-daughter times, and I’ve even come alone on some occasions to have some time to myself. Since All Spices switched to Sumalee’s, I’ve come back even MORE. The Phad Kee Mao is so irresistible, I find myself ordering it every time I come(every payday, now!). Plus, I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant(I’ve been to a lot) that had such perfect Thai Iced Tea. Today when I came in there was a new girl working there, and let me tell you, I have never had such amazing service! She was adorable, so perky, and sweeter than the tea! I can’t wait to come back and back and back again: D
