Jack In the Box

I stopped here on the way to work the other day, early, like around 4am. I just wanted an iced mocha. I gave my order at the talk box and pulled up to the window. The guy inside, probably the only one there, was counting money or something. And he just kept on counting like I wasn’t even there, like I had not placed an order. To be polite, I waited patiently for a minute or two, but he didn’t stop to make the iced mocha, he just kept on doing whatever he was doing with the cash drawer! So finally, without a word, I just blew it off, drove out, and stopped at another JITB that I knew was on my way to work — where they gave me an iced mocha — immediately! Now, isn’t that kinda strange, what happened at the Bonita Road Jack In The Box? I am not going back any time soon!!!

We have gone here twice so far. I got the burger with the buttery sauce which was delicious, the second time I got the chicken sandwich, which is also delicious. I love the churros! The staff was so friendly and patient. It was our first time at this restaurant so it took a while to look over the whole menu. I plan on eating here again before returning to Pennsylvania.

Don’t go here. Their onion rings are overcooked. I wasted my money on a cheeseburger and onion rings on Sunday and it waS DURING LUNCH!

I ordered a chicken salad. Got back to work… opened it and a long black hair was laying right on top of it… seriously…no
hair nets??? Lost my appetite for a few days…

I haven’t had ice cream in almost a week. I was having withdrawals and needed some ice cream, STAT! I tried to go to another spot to get my fix but there was a line of about 300 high school kids out front. No thanks! So I head back towards the freeway and see this on my right. Jack In The Box has good milkshakes so I pulled in and got in the drive through. Here is how it went down… (My thoughts below will be in parentheses)
Worker– «Hello, welcome to Jack In The Box, can I take your order?»
Me– «Hello, can I please have a large Oreo Cookie Shake?»
Worker– «Is that it?» (Well, JITB tacos are delicious, I might be able to eat 2 of them but I am pretty full from my burrito from earlier… I think I’ll pass.)
Me– «Yes that is all, thank you.»
Worker– «You don’t want to add a slice of cheesecake to that order?» (Damn…how big of a sweet tooth do you think I have? I would LOVE a slice of cheesecake but I’m trying to avoid getting diabetes during this 2 minute drive through order… I’ll pass on that one too… nice recommendation/​upsell though. A sales person at heart.)
Me– «No thank you, I am good.»
Worker– «That will be $ 3.99, please pull around.»
Paid the lady my money and got my shake. I’ll be damned if this wasn’t the best Oreo Cookie Shake I have ever had from JITB. The whole thing could be sucked through the straw, the Oreo pieces were crunchy, it was super big and very refreshing.

I love Jack in the box but this one was just great the food was on time they werent stingy with there butter milk i asked for 6 and they have me 8 Espically for the large order we had !!!

Food was on time. Everything looked great. Tasted great. And that’s coming from a person that doesn’t like jack in the box. Kids meal comes with apples wit caramel

Went here this morning to get the only thing that cannot be screwed up, I ordered breakfast jacks (6) I got 3 in addition to the (10) tacos and soft drinks that I ordered, the clown that was working the window when I called back, talked to me and said the bag felt heavy, it must have had the correct amount of food I think…
You can come back and pick up more, we will review the camera footage…
The hell with this place I only get food here when grand kids are with me, I hate all of their food, told the grand kids we will not go back to get the food that they owe us and will not come back again ever.
THEY SUCK!!!

First time here. I walked in and I was greeted as I walked in. The young lady was and nice professional. She took my order and I received it where I sat. My chicken sandwich and curly fries were delicious and fresh. The location is nice and clean. Location is a little small though, but thumbs up overall!

I’ve been going here for fifteen plus years and the last month has just been a disaster!
My last two orders have been wrong! And I don’t want to have to drive all the way back to JIB to exchange it… especially with the price of gas. My husband is British and speaks proper English. He has to repeat his order ten times because they don’t understand English or have a crappy intercom. This is really disappointing.

Why do you guys have to be so greedy with the ranch?

This Jack in the Box isn’t the best. It has the standard JITB food… however, on two separate occasions they messed up my order. I wanted two breakfast jacks one time… I didn’t check the bag (my bad) with my drive through order and when I got home I had two tacos instead in my bag. The other time I ordered the mini pancakes (this is the day I realized they no longer served french toast sticks, LAME!) with a breakfast jack. What kind of sauce do they give me with my order of mini pancakes? Marinara sauce… yeah because it goes really good with mini pancakes! So moral of the story: check your order before you leave the drive through and 50% of the time you’ll get the right order here.

Very friendly service every time I’ve been there. and its conveniently on my way to work on bonita road, so I tend to go here often since the service is also very quick :)

We used a coupon I found on their website to get some chicken sandwich. It tasted like a 3 star. It was lacking flavor. I’m used to Chick-​fil-​a so it wasn’t anywhere as good. My son really liked it for some reason, though. But, sorry, Jack in the Box! I think I’ll stick to your burgers and churros. As for speed, it was kind of slow waiting for our order.

This Jack is so centrally located in the CV/​Bonita area that everyone comes here… especially after late night. I have seen the drive thru about 10 cars deep at 2am.
I have never had complaints about the food, although I dont really like their fries. I have noticed that this Jack is cleaner than others I have been to.
The service here is pretty good, every time I go in through the drive thru I always get asked Did you receive good service today? I figured that I have said yes enough times to give them props on Unilocal

pros… it’s close to the clinic.
cons… walked in on saturday after a long day at the clinic, and was just hungry. the moment i walked in the super strong smell of raw sewage. in fact it’s so strong that it smells like a swamp in there. the worst part what that i went to the bathroom and it didn’t smell at all.
and the service sucked too, food was so slow to come out, but perhaps they actually cooked it right when i ordered it.
i guess i have to change my review of this place, especially for actually eating in vs. using the drive thru. but i think i will not be going here again!

I don’t usually rate fast food places, but…
This place is not bad, clean, well lited, quite friendly, got quite a lot of parking as well as a Drive — Thru.
But 1 thing I don’t understand is that — You get a number and they bring the food to you. After I paid, they gave me a number card, and I was like «what’s this?» The lady told me that it was a number and we should put that on the table, so they will bring over the food. So we did, and 5 mins later, our food arrived ~
Sorry, still no tips tho, but we cleaned up.

Another $ 1 Chicken Sandwich disappointment.
Re-​constituted chicken, and obviously so. C’mon, at least make it *look* convincing so that we can fool ourselves and pretend we’re eating real food. And doused — and boy, do I mean doused! — in mayo.
Perhaps the kicker is that I almost *liked* the fact that it had so much mayo because at least it added taste. Without the mayo, this would have been completely tasteless.
