Found this place on the way to bakery across the way… I tried their pizza slice & hot wings. Pretty good. This place looks family owned & operated which is great(Love local businesses) The second time I went back, I had the fish and chips, also pretty good.

Ordered queen size pepperoni with SAUSAGE not mushroom. Either give me my money back or take the pizza. Kids NOT happy but kept the pizza. Why not get it right the FIRSTTIME. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Loved this place until they sent me half of a container of batter instead of shrimp…

I’ve always enjoyed this location. I’m uncertain if the other locations in San Diego are all connected in regards to being family, however, the wife and husband are cordial and provide friendly banter. The pizza is always on point(pepperoni, extra cheese), the Philly cheesesteak is my personal favorite combination, as well as the meatball sub, the 10″ sub sandwich is also a pleasant cold dish and, yes, do not overlook the lasagna and spaghetti plates, each sold separately. The gravy is a blend of sweet, tangy and zesty flavors. Some other cozy-ass items are the garlic squares and buffalo hot wings are extremely satisfying. You are invited!

Couldn’t be more satisfied with the calzone I had. Fair prices, friendly owner, and delicious food… what’s not to love?

Had GIANTPIZZAKING last week while visiting family in SD… PRO’S: BIG and cheap. We had the«Queen» size and it was bigger than most XL pizzas. CON’S: Not a very delicious pie. The sauce was not very tasty, and the pizza itself was a bit under-cooked. Best way to describe GPK is that you couldn’t taste the«love» from the cooks. Poor quality of ingredients. 2.5 stars.

I don’t get why some reviewers act like this place was amazing, It was okay at best, the pizza was nothing special, the servers were blehh, and the place was too loud, there was no way you could hear the person or people you are with talk but overall it was okay

WHERE’S THECHEESE??? This place used to have good pizza at a fair price but the accountants took over to the point that I’ll never return. I was looking forward to making a carne asada pizza(with help from a Lolita’s burrito). I paid $ 14.03 for a 16″ extra cheese pizza that was missing a lot of cheese but had a lot of extra crust. See the pics and decide if this is anything close to having extra cheese.

This is our go to spot for me and a couple buddies of mine. Grab a slice of pizza and just hang out. Owners are great, known them throughout the years. Local mom and pop shop. Nothing too extravagant, just great giant pizza.

This one has the best dove pizza if you enjoy eating pizza and yet will not making feel heavy and guilty. It is good pizza.

Besides the fast delivery, everything else was very disappointing. First I paid $ 20ish for almost a personal size pizza with 2 toppings on just half, 6BBQ wings in which were no bigger than half my pinky(no joke) they weren’t even BBQ they came with a side of BBQ sauce what the heck is that? Oh and side of fries. And… Nothing was good at all, not even decent. Not recommended.

My husband wanted to try a giant pizza place and we found this on Unilocal.Decided to try it and we weren’t disappointed. Apart from definitely being GIANT, The crust here is super flavorful which was a pleasant surprise and is the main reason I give this place a high score. That plus the service was great, we’re definitely going back and will recommend it!

My husband and I love this place. I’m a huge pizza fan and could probably eat it 4 times a week or more if it was waistband friendly lol. When I first moved into our apartment coming from Northern CA, I had no idea where anything was but I had a houseful of helpful family and friend movers that I needed to feed! I asked my new neighbor for a recommendation and she gave me some coupons and said Giant Pizza King Bonita was the best around. Well, turned out we loved their pizza! Crust is light and chewy and crispy around the edge, great sauce, great toppings, and the overall flavor is wonderful and it’s always fresh. You can order a HUGE pizza if you need it and I can’t say enough about how good the pizza is! As far as the staff, I love them! It feels like they are family and after ordering several times one of the men even came to recognize and and know my husband’s name by voice and face when he went in. Talk about personal service! Always friendly! From the guys that deliver to the man and ladies that take orders and serve the customers, these people are so nice and friendly. I worked in customer service for years and I notice good service immediately. The staff at Giant Pizza King really make my day :). We have since moved to Spring Valley, however the Bonita location is just way better and their pizza tastes totally different to me, it’s just all around better so we keep going back time and time again. Keep up the good work, we love you guys!

The pizza here is the best in town. The philly cheesesteak and hot wings are also awesome. I love that it’s a mom and pop shop. The husband and wife are always there unless there is some sort of family event. The giant party pizzas are always a showstopper!

I’ve been ordering from this GPK for ages. I’ve tried darn near all their pizza sizes, toppings, hamburgers, sandwhiches, etc. The good; Real cheese, real quality dough, and real pizza sauce. They have some decent sandwhiches, cheese steak, and an italian sub. The bad; spaghetti, spaghetti w/meatballs, side bread, meatball sub, and fried shrimp. This is my main stop to order a real large pizza, or just a medium size one. The toppings are ok, better than the chain pizza shops. All in all the pizza is a four star, everything else is three or less.

In addition to their ingredients being fresh and delicious, the owners and employees seem to be genuinely nice people. When there was a blackout not too long ago, they found their ovens to still be hot and operational. They stayed open and in business to help people in the neighborhood feed their families.

This is a quiet little pizza place in Bonita hidden across from the post office. Its owned and operated by an elderly couple from what seems like somewhere in Eastern Europe. Love the hand tossed dough, and oddly enough the wings from there are also really damn good. The prices are steep compared to the $ 10 Pizza Hut thing but you can taste the quality. Also the bigger the pizza the cheaper it becomes, basically it comes out to about $ 1 and inch. Apparently this place has been around for years and hope it sticks around cuz its damn good.

I was initially leery of this place because of the reviews that I had read on here. Fortunately for me I decided to give it a try anyway. We were greeted by a very friendly older couple who turned out to be the owners. They quickly took our order, recommending the perfect sized pizza for the number that I had to feed, and assured us it would be ready in 15 minutes. Sure enough, 15 mins later the lady was waving at us as we crossed the parking lot while exploring the strip mall area. The pizza was hot and pretty darn good. I’m starting to figure that the previous complaints came from individuals who expected top notch ingredients for a $ 2424″ pie. These are probably the same people who complain about the quality of food at an all you can eat chinese buffet. The next time I need a giant pizza I will be sure to stop here!
