Overpriced lunch. I got the all you can eat sushi from a limited menu while my wife ordered stir fry. My food was served twice and I was digesting before my wife got her order. Her stir fry was boring, bland, and had an almost burnt taste. I thought we were on candid camera. WEWERETHEONLYCUSTOMERSTHERE! No excuse. We laughed, left, and will never go back

We love coming here for the sushi! Noah, the sushi chef, is wonderfully talented and friendly. He always remembers our favorite things. We have not had a bad meal yet! The only thing is that we have to tip both the server and the sushi bar separately… when we should really only have to tip the sushi bar. We would definitely recommend this place!

This is by far the best Sushi in Naples and Bonita Springs. The ambiance and décor are awesome. Koi Lounge which is outside surrounded by a Koi pond. The Tiki hut bar with Tv’s and music while you lounge around is just great! Ask for Dennis or Paul and tell them Kevin sent you. I’m a twice a week visitor now, I can’t seem to stay away! If you don’t fall in love I’ll buy you a drink somewhere in your travels:))

it’s the height of a crazy season … so we went out for dinner early … 5 p, m, saturday chose the«menu side» so can’t comment on hibachi … waitress was nice enough — a little ditzy — she got the job done — i think we were smart to go early beef negamaki for appetizer — tasted pretty good … entrees: steak terriaki w/sushi — the sushi was really fresh and delicious, steak dish was good, served w/mixed veges — had to ask for the rice which was brought promptly … chicken vege tempura combo — huge dish — nice tempura and variety of veges — good dipping sauce salad was nice and cold with classic Japanese ginger dressing … miso was hot and tasty as well … nice dinner at Tokyo Bay — but again we went super early for dinner on saturday in the middle of season … you locals know what I mean … we would go back …

We are here for the first time today. They took great care of making sure the chicken and fillet were clean. No gristle or fat. I can’t stand biting into a piece of meat and getting a big chunk of gristle. The food overall was very good. The service was good also.

Sushi is fine for those who are not connoisseurs. But, if you’ve lived in Japan, sushi is sub-par. It’s absolutely edible, but not the melt-in-your mouth kind.

This is one of the best sushi restaurants we have ever been to… Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious!!! The sushi chef and the wait staff were very engaging and attentive! If we lived here, we would be regulars!

Food was okay… Table Service was horrible… Will not return. Manager was busy watching tv and on his cell phone to care about service.

We are newer to town and were excited to find a new hibachi place. We walked in a three pm and no one was there. The waitress forgot everything and had to go back and forth to get menus, silver wear, plates etc although she was very nice. the edamame looked old and so did the salad it was not fresh. The sushi rolls were just okay. We ordered hibachi at a table and it was just okay also nothing special. I just wasted 80 dollars and we basically left all our food there. I most likely would not return. Just is not good. Is rather travel a little further and eat in Naples

I came here for my birthday and they did not disappoint. I loved the atmosphere and the lobster and scallops were delicious! I will recommend this to my friends and family who visit southwest Florida!

The waitress took away from the experience. She was more interested in a coworker who was having lunch on her day off. The food was ok and after the interaction with her I lost my appetite.

We enjoy going to this restaurant. Food is always good and the servers are great. The Chefs always perform well and keep you smiling. I would recommend it to anyone; however, I wouldn’t recommend bringing kids that don’t eat too much. They simply don’t get the monies worth.

One of my favorite restaurants! I love coming here. The staff is friendly and the hibachi chefs are funny. The food is amazing and the portions are large. I always get the Filet Mignon with scallops and it comes with fried rice, broth soup, house salad, and fresh veggies. It’s all so good. I wish I could buy their salad dressing. I never go home without leftovers. I love it! Now I’m hungry…

This is by far the worst service I have ever experienced. We sat at 5:40 for the special and waited 15 minutes for someone to ask us our drink order then 10 minutes later tr waiter came to take our order and tried to tell us we can’t order the special after 6 pm. The staff was rude and the hostess was mean, complained that we only waited 12 minutes for a drink order. I will meet come back because of the poor service and disrespectful staff. I have no idea how they are still in business. I’d like to request a manners class to the staff.

Genre for rating: Japanese I suppose Tokyo Bay wins best food in Bonita by default. That said, it’s actually not bad at all. The hibachi is pretty standard, both in quality and performance. The standard seating and food is as well. If you are a real fan of the classic Japanese steakhouse experience, you may be disappointed. That said, I think there is enough on the menu done with enough quality and taste to satisfy your itch. What I have: chicken/steak hibachi Best bet: if its closer to you than da ru ma, and you are in the mood.

We went here for the hibachi on my birthday. It was pretty standard. It was nice, but nothing spectacular. When we both ordered the waiter routinely asked if we would like fried rice. I assumed this was included in the dinner. I was pretty pissed when we got the bill. We were both charged an additional $ 2.50 for a side of fried rice. Not a huge deal, but I had felt like he pulled a fast one. It left a sour note for me. Our chef was decent, but he could have definitely been more entertaining. We went around 5:45 and had a table just to ourselves(my fiancé and me). I suppose this could be a reason why he wasn’t as entertaining as he could have been. The food was good. All hibachi dinners come with soup(very light broth with one paper thin mushroom in it), salad(very cold with ginger dressing, good sized portion), veggies(a nice blend of carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, red and green peppers, zucchini), and of course rice. The chef asked if we were celebrating any special occasion. After learning it was my birthday, nothing special was done. You can order a birthday cake for $ 10, but who really wants a whole cake after eating such a huge meal. It would have been really nice to have a free dinner(like so many other hibachi places I’ve been to). The décor of the restaurant is very nice and clean. I gave 3 stars because of the excessive price. Nearly $ 10 more per dinner than other places in the area. Don’t think we’ll be coming back.

I was the only one in the entire place so that made me quite nervous at first. I decided to sit at the sushi bar and made sure all looked fresh. It did. I pre looked at the menu on line and wrote down some rolls I thought I’d enjoy. Prices were not online. When I saw the prices they were pretty pricey. I ordered the Brazilian roll and the Empire roll. The sushi chef was very friendly as well as the kitchen staff, they all came out to say hello. It was taking a little longer then I thought it should however, I was given a cucumber salad that was refreshing. The cucumber was very crunchy. I did not mind the chef teaching another one how to make the rolls I ordered. It was worth the wait! I enjoied both rolls the tuna was fresh in the Empire roll and the cream cheese was a perfect pair with the crab and shrimp in the Brazilian roll! When I got the bill I didn’t mind that it was a total of $ 31 with tip … For just me. But it was definitely a treat that I wouldnt get every day. or week!

We come here every time we are in town. Sushi presentation was beautifully done. The rolls were great although a little on the small side. Rhody’s Haruki has spoiled me. Get the octopus salad to start — cucumbers, octopus, topped with chukka!

They have a NEW sushi chef! He is AMAZING!!! It is refreshing to find a true sushi chef in SWFL. His name is Kobe– trust him, ask him to just make you something delicious and you will not be dissappointed. He is creative and talented! The sushi bar also has a really good all you can eat lunch– similar to Blu’s but more options. The hibachi portion of the restaurant is also good– if you have a large party they have a private room with two connected tables. I had my last birthday dinner there and we had 22 people in the room. It was tight but really fun! The two chefs were competing against each other, very entertaining! On a side note, during the winter when the weather is cooler, they have a cute little outside bar. It was nice to go out there after the party and have one last drink before going out!
