Being from MA I enjoyed the Boston themed atmosphere. I had the«The Monster»(pronounced the monstah) hot pastrami sandwich. It was all I could handle. The portions are very generous, the cole slaw was very good and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely have to return for the corned beef!

Great food and a great vibe. I love this bar. It has a great outdoor patio with nice seating. There’s a large beer selection and the sandwiches that I’ve tried have been delicious. It’s a really nice place to hang out for a drink or even for lunch or dinner. Staff is quite friendly as well.

What a great, authentic(i think), Boston themed pub… My wife and I ate there this weekend for the first time, the food is great and tasty but be warned it is not for the organic type !!! Every once in a while we fall off the wagon from our organic diets and have a craving for good hearty, but not always healthy food, and this was our weekend!!! The feeling when you walk in the door is very unique, and it is very comfortable both inside and out, the food was good and the happy hour was reasonable, we were there for a late Saturday afternoon lunch but I’m sure this place rocks at nights and/or weekends I would be very interested in what my Boston friends think of this place!!! So next time I’m going to bring a few…

12:46am and you are closed. !! The only reason I decide to review is because this is certainly not the first time.

We had a late lunch here and sat outside. They have a really nice outdoor patio and bar. I ordered a Reuben and the meat was nice and lean and the bread was not greasy. It was very good and I took half home(it was big). My wife got the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Both good. the cheese was not fully melted but still all good. Overall service was slow. Maybe a shift change and short staffed that day? We will definitely be back to hang out in the evening and give the service another shot. I say 4 stars for price atmosphere and food. Probably 3 stars for the service on this particular day but will give that another chance

Definitely better atmosphere & drinks than food. We ordered Beacon St sandwich… a lot of tomatoes & not warm, and the Hanover… lots of meat! Very cool outside patio, but seemed understaffed. Not a great place for young kids. But we appreciated the theme as visiting Massholes.

While the décor in this restaurant is quite trendy and the sandwiches are wonderful the service is so bad that you forget all of that. Being a former server and bartender myself for over thirty years I was appalled at the lack of professionalism shown by our bartender(female) last Sunday the 18th. While the bar was not busy she walked by us several times without glancing in our direction and when she finally did address us it was short and curt. To top it off my credit card was charged twice. When I called the restaurant to report this I left a message for the manager. I received no response. I can say with certainty that I will not be patronizing this establishment any longer.

Hey it’s one of those places where you feel comfortable. Have had apps and tonight ordered the smoked fish dip. Cocktails are just ringgit, that is they have booze in them

As a rabid Red Sox fan, I can say that this is the perfect place to come to for a game, particularly with the décor and the atmosphere. However, that’s where it ends. Aside from that, you’d probably also want to come for the food, right? The problem here is, the food just isn’t that special. Don’t get me wrong — it’s not bad by any means, it’s just… Boring. As others have mentioned, the lobster roll is good(Obviously a requirement for any Boston-themed place). In addition to that, the Big Dig burger is very good — Juicy, good toppings and definitely will fill you up. However, pretty much everything else is just bland. The sandwiches admittedly have fresh ingredients, but of any of these I’ve tried, none of them are very special or bursting with flavor or anything. I never find myself craving any of them, or feeling very satisfied after having one. They’re just forgettable and unremarkable. One final note is the service. The staff is friendly enough, but consistently SLOOOW. We’ve been here a half dozen times, and besides boring sandwiches, the slow service is the only other constant here. Landsdowne is a cool spot for a beer and a baseball game, but that’s really about it.

I stopped in here at lunch time Sunday on my way home from Coconut Point Mall. There were a few people sitting at the bar. I took a table booth because I don’t drink. Waiting 5 minutes for menu — 5 minutes for water then the waitress never came back. I guess she was disappointed that I don’t drink. Left after never having the waitress come back to take my order. We don’t all drink alcohol!

Best lobster roll around hands down. Heck everything on their menu is delicious! Definitely a place to check out. They have live music, great outdoor seating and bar. Awesome staff, Dana and Dion are great!

We were visiting Bonita Springs from Tampa, and I can honestly say that Landsdowne Street was one of the highlights of our trip. The smoked fish dip was top notch, very fresh and came with an assortment of garnishes(fresh chopped jalapeño, onion, and capers) and delicious mini pressed toasts. Smoked wings were also awesome, as was the clam chowder. The half size chef salad was huge, very fresh, and loaded with high quality cold cuts. My boyfriend got The Monstah sandwich, which is hot pastrami with cheese and pickles on a sub roll. It was decadent in the best way. Draft beer selection could be better, but they had draft Guinness so I was happy enough. Really nice comfortable bar atmosphere and a great place to watch a game. Our server Dino was was funny and friendly. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

This is a solid choice for a weekday lunch but it is also a definite happy hour spot for after work! Great themed atmosphere. Not much parking in the front but no worries, lots of space in the back. I had a lunch meeting and enjoyed the massive sandwich: Plymouth Rock. Impressed with how much turkey was stuffed in between the multi-grain toast. And the coleslaw was ok, not as creamy as I usually like. It was a $ 15 lunch plus tip. Service was good. Food came out fast and food was tasty! So I am a fan!

Came here on a random Tuesday night while on vacation. Fun place, they were having a trivia night and we had a blast even though the questions were super hard! Tons of beers on tap and very friendly staff — we had a great time!

We sat outside which was a nice large patio area. I like Boston theme bars because it reminds me of home. The bartender was pretty funny and was at least a Sox fan(though he was quick to call Brady a cheater). The bathrooms were decorated like different T stations and the menu items were named after different streets or places(Comm ave, Mass Pike, Newbury, Storrow.) The menu was pretty big. We got buffalo chicken chips. The chips were very good but a little too much buffalo sauce. They had a very large craft beer selection. On the way out we noticed that there was a fire pit outside that would probably be nice to sit by next time.

Friend took us to lunch here recently. My husband had been once before and raved about sandwiches. Pretty big. If you don’t have a huge appetite, share your meal. No kidding. I enjoyed the Ipswich Street sandwich… turkey, sliced granny smith apple, brie, and raspberry mustard. I’d do it again, too. Two Monstahs(hot pastrami, provolone, spicy deli mustard, mayo, red onions, and pickles on a sub roll) were delivered to my husband and our friend. I can’t believe they ate all of each sandwich. I had to take half of mine home. But first we shared the fish dip. That was very good! Next time, I’m having that for lunch and that’s it. Or maybe my husband and I will share that and a sandwich. Or I might go for the BLT. I do love my bacon.

This place was so cool! I’ve never been to a Boston style bar before, so this one was definitely an experience worth having. The clam chowder is an excellent appetizer. Their Cuban sandwiches were so awesome! It’s called El Tiante.

Lansdowne is great. Beautiful outdoor seating available and cold beer. One can easily drive by the place unaware of it’s existence because of a dark sign and tiny appearance. Nice crowd of casual people hanging out and the sandwiches were just what we needed after a few beers and ok… a few shot as well. One and only complaint is the service… one dude from the bar took our order, then never came back. Food was dropped off and never checked up on. Halfway through our visit service switched hands and now we have a girl whose name escapes me. She was better than the first guy but we still had to wave her over a few times. It seems to me that making bartenders service tables never seems to work out well. Overall we had a nice experience and will be back.
