Update: I called the salon to request a refund following my horrible experience with Chuck and the awful job he did on my hair. They worked around my schedule to get me back in with another stylist as quickly as possible. This visit was completely different from the first. Kim did my hair this time. She was very nice, as were the rest of the ladies at the salon. She really listened to what I wanted, and did a fantastic job fixing the mess that Chuck made with my hair. I am pleased with my hair, and feel that, had she been the one to do my hair in the first place, I would be giving 5 stars for my review. I would visit this salon again, though it certainly would not be with Chuck. Original review: Nightmare. I had my hair done today with Chuck, and to say the experience was an absolute nightmare would be an understatement. I had beautiful blonde highlights, but needed to have my roots touched up. The result was a horrible, splotchy, disaster of a mess, so bad that I actually cried. This was not a situation where I simply did not like how it turned out, it was actually over the top bad. I had to return and asked for it to be fixed, something that I have not had to do in the 20 years I’ve been having my hair highlighted. Rather than be apologetic that he had so terribly screwed my hair up, Chuck seemed genuinely annoyed. After wasting most of the day getting my hair done and then«fixed» I ended up going from a highlighted blonde to a brunette, nowhere near what I wanted for my hair. The entire situation was horrible, and so is my hair now. It was a complete waste of $ 160

Recently moved here and was worried about finding someone. I was really blessed to find Danielle. I haven’t had a cut this good in 15 years. Cut all dead ends off and showed me a number of great ways to wear my hair in this high humidity! Very, very precise in her cuts. Spent 2 hours with me — well worth the $ 70! I’ll be back. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the shop is a bit dated(plastic covers on seats, old posters, etc). If that doesn’t bother you, than Daniele at Jean Nicole is where you want to be.
