The address is not correct on the listing, ste 213, but the store is in the strip mall just next door. It’s a nice store, and we shoppers do appreciate that they’ve tried to arrange things by size. Lots to look at, allow plenty of time. The book selection is nice. It’s a big, well stocked store.

Books! Books! And for unbelievable prices! When you can find Marcella Hazan’s «The Classic Italian Cookbook» for 50 cents — grab it! This is a large store with a lot of stock. I’ll grant you that I walked the periphery of it to check out what they had with not a whole lot of intention to purchase items, but merely to show my shopping companion what Goodwill had to offer. The items that we found were of great quality, nicely labeled and extraordinarily reasonably priced. I did not look at any clothing items, as a matter of reference. Furniture items were clearly labeled from various stores like Robb & Stucky and Ethan Allen. Some had no labels on them, however, but they were of nice quality for the price that was on the tag. Lamps and other household items were also abundant and reasonably priced. Dishes and china sets were beyond reasonable(my college-aged child would have had a literal«field day» with the offerings). Loads of knick-nacks and household do-dads priced on the cheap, too. A modest-sized display of cards was also available — nothing fancy — priced at 2 for $ 1. Jeez. Haven’t seen greeting cards THAT cheap in years! Clean store, well run and very friendly employees. I’m deducting a star for 2 reasons, though: 1. Books were not sorted in any way at all. They were all thrown together: fiction, non-fiction, reference, hardcover and paperback were all mixed up and jumbled in 4 to 5 very long shelves. You really had to LOOK hard to find titles. Worth the time, though. 2. None of the upholstered furniture had any kind of labeling on it that it was certified bedbug-free. I don’t know how much of a bedbug problem there may be in SW Florida, but I know in other parts of the country, this is a prevalent issue that would certainly deter me from purchasing any item that did not have this certification, and I do know that it is provided in GW stores in my hometown in Texas, for I have seen it.

Hit or miss but always for a good cause. Large store, clean, big aisles. I just missed a whole set of Legos… timing is everything. Inventory varies, depending of course on donations. From gold clubs to Furniture, mostly clothing organized in colors. Lines were long to check out. But it is season here. Nice semi covered outdoor sitting area in front. Plenty of parking, in a strip mall just off of highway 41. Behind McDonalds.

Goodwill continues to serve the community by providing employment for those who are challenged elsewhere. It’s easy to donate at this facility because it is operated as a drive-through at the back of the retail store. Inside, the retail store is arranged by color for clothes rather than by size which makes for a much more attractive presentation. Staff makes good use of the floor space and provides wide aisles. A visit in household goods can payoff, for purchase price, for charity supporting Goodwill’s mission, and for your own feel good moment. eg, I found a small, colorful ceramic container for a potted plant that will go to someone who loves flowers but has to be housebound for a while.
