Prices and theater are great! We originally came to the theater to watch a movie scheduled at 4PM.(We rushed with our 3 children immediately after school.) When we Attempted to buy tickets, we were told that there was no movie because the theater Projector was broken. As we are expressed disappointment to the young cash register attendant, she became a little rude. The young managerstepped in to help out and offered us passes for a movie on another day. The owners and managers of this theater have gone to great links recently to improve the quality of the movie experience. And we normally enjoy watching movies here. I highly recommend this theater. But I’m getting frustrated with poor customer service by many customer service industry employees. The manager acted quickly and correctly to correct the situation. He saved a potentially negative experience and review and can teach the employee through a real situation. I’m sure the young lady working there will improve.

Once again, SWFL benefits from an out-of-towner’s successful business model. Frank arrived, providing the area with an affordable, alternative venue for family and others to enjoy food and a movie. Cine Grill is a mere, open partition away from the Frank Theatre lobby. About 14 patrons can sit at tables and order simple burgers/fries/hot dogs/salads from a waitperson who must keep the area clean as well as manage orders. Prices are cheap: $ 7 burger; $ 3 fries; etc. There is also a standard food concession in the lobby, so be prepared to sit inside a dominant cloud of freshly made popcorn perfume. Also be prepared for the bad habits of groups, couples, and families who obviously don’t get out much. A lot of food is dropped on the floor and abandoned, kids are up and down from the table like feral animals, and occassionally an old guy will take a seat and yell across the lobby to his wife that he’s «Over Here!» The theatre seats took a hint from the bad-boy airlines. Rows are close together, so those same critters who were last in the Cine Grill could be behind you and within kicking range of the back of your seat. Seats are upholstered in a kind of material reminiscent of naugahyde. Seats are considerably more narrow than the Frank’s toney competitor to the south, Silverspot. But they are comfortable. Frank knows the power of a bargain, too. Summer matinée ticket are only $ 6.

It was our first time here and we decided to give this place a shot after reading the 2 reviews. Let me tell you, we’re glad we came! The place is very well kept, bathrooms and general walking areas were all kept clean. There wasn’t that musty smell you smell whenever I’ve been to other theaters. The leather seats were very comfortable to the point that a 2hr plus movie felt like a breeze. We didn’t try any of the food items from their menu because we had already ate but I did have a couple beers at $ 3 each, premiums are $ 4 each; not too bad in my mind, since Silverspot charges you $ 5. We live pretty far away from this location but have already made up our mind that the 45 minute trip is WELL worth it. UPDATE03/08/2014 This is a quick to inform that unfortunately this place is no longer part of Frank’s Theatres. That means that the restaurant and the great food is no more. :-( The place has kept the same movie pricing but with the food gone, I really don’t have much incentive.

My new favorite theater in SWFL.(Silverspot Cinema sucks) I’ve been coming to this theater for 15 years and I’m in my late 20s. Back when it was Regal… then a few years ago when that train wreak bought it and… made it into a train wreck. Frank Theatres(odd name) has saved the day. New seating(good high backs that rock… no I mean like a rocker chair), 4k projection(that’s calibrated correctly), great sound(that’s calibrated correctly), decent food with some choices, beer, wine, seating out front. Even dyson hand dryers in the restrooms. And… $ 6 for a Matinée. $ 6! I haven’t paid that for probably 15 years. Though I have been living in New York and LA so this might be my problem. But really… good theater, or theatre.(whatever) PS. Only thing is I think they need to get some automated ticket machines out front. I didn’t have to stand in line behind some old far… I mean, some older more mature, slightly slower people, but I know that often happens in Naples. So automated ticket machines out front would be nice. THOUGH I know you can buy them online but I’d rather not put my CC info into a little indie website. Maybe if they used PayPal? I’d say Fandango but I hate the surcharges. That would prevent me from buying them online anyway.

We went to this theatre for the first time and were very happy to see it is not a café with a movie playing. It is just a regular movie theatre. The food part is in the lobby. Too bad they don’t advertise as a regular theatre. I would have started going there when it first opened.
