Yong In Master Lee’s Taekwondo

My husband and I are so very impressed with Master Lee’s Taekwondo. They are highly organized, extremely attentive to each individual, and very skilled in this martial art. In the short time that my son has been going, he has reaped much benefit from this program. They emphasize the importance of focus, respect, integrity, goal setting, respect, etc. I have seen a noticable change in my child’s self esteem and confidence level since he has started the program. I can not say enough about the instructors, they are absolutely amazing, talented, committed people who have their students best interest in mind.
This program, like most aroud town, require a year contract, and one attends twice a week. You have your choice of days and times, so it is a very flexilble schedule for anyone. It might seem a little pricy to some, but I can assure you that it is worth every penny. I see this as an investment in my son’s future, as it is empowering him like nothing else I have ever seen. If you are considering and comparing different organizations, look no further, this is the place to invest your time and money.

Master Lee and Mrs Mia are amazing. They truly care about every student. They have assembled an incredible staff that shares their same values. The life lessons and discipline they instill on their students are priceless.

This place is wonderful! Children are treated with the most amazing, patient kindness. Through repetition, consistency and personal attention (there are sometimes 15 – 20 kids in a class and the instructors know each child’s name, they look them in the eye, they are always genuinely joyful) children learn about honor, respect (for themselves and others) and integrity.
This is as much for you, the parents, as for your children. I cannot express enough how enlightening we have found this experience. It is a time and $ commitment. Do it. It’s worth it. There are very few opportunities these days to make such a valuable investment in your family.

My daughter has been in TwaKwan Do for 5 years. She is now working on her 3^rd black belt. This will be her «real» black belt in the World TwaKwanDo Federation. (She’s been in three different programs!) The first program she was in. accepted her at just 2&½ years of age, we will always be greatful to Mike and Kurt for their extreme patience in working with such a tiny tot full of energy & giving her a wonderful foundation to build on.
But now, Master Lee’s YongIn is a true school for TwaKwonDo! The Masters that come from Korea to teach are just amazing. A combination of strict, yet patient. With my high energy child, I do wish they were a little more strict! They have a wonderful student to instructor ratio — my child is never lost in the class. She never goofs off– they are watching! Okay, she goods off, but gets called out on it!
If the class is large; out comes another instructor! No student sits on the sideline of class watching, EVERYONE participates!
Another thing I really enjoy is a sense of community. The children make connections/​friends outside of their normal social sphere. That’s really important these days! They also have outside activities, fairs, movies, camps, for the children to enjoy.
The school also teaches respect to one another, parents, teaches, oneself– self control, self respect, some life lessons that don’t come from mom and dad; yet are so vitally important. It seems sometimes that society has lost some of these lessons; it is nice to have them reinforced outside the home.

I highly recommend Yong-​In Master Lee’sTaekwondo School for all ages but especially for the youth. I see children, including my own, grow through their experience at this school. The whole staff is amazing with the students. I have seen wonders in my child with his self esteem and confidence. You can see a difference at home and at school (grade school) It may seem like a difficult commitment because of price but I promise it will be the best commitment you’ll ever make for your child. Give your child the tools to succeed in life by giving them the chance to be a part of Master Lee’s Taekwondo School!
