I have been to several Taco Times, and as a northwest company that prides itself on freshness, this was a location with an experience exemplifying that the least. I went in at dinner time, and even though it was still far before close, their fresh salsa bar had already been put away which was disappointing. The staff was fairly friendly, however it is clear that they were not the happiest to be there, but everyone has had bad days at work. When the food arrived, the crisp bean burritos had been crisped far too much. Instead of being a nice tan in color, they both arrived dark brown, borderline burnt. I order two soft shell burritos as well, both of which were not thoroughly heated, leaving a cold inside with cheese unmelted. The interior was nice and clean, the staff seemed to be working hard, and I appreciated the ability to watch television while I waited. I will go back and give them a second chance, perhaps during lunch time, however this was not the best taco time I had been to by far.

When and for breakfast for a change yes they are open for breakfast ordered a country breakfast burrito which has sausage, eggs, hash browns, and country gravy. Service time was fast which is important in a breakfast establishment and food was tasty.

YES! I am not much of a fast food fan; however, if you must Taco Time on Fairview is great! The service is always friendly and efficient. They go out of their way to let you know that they appreciate your patronage. Specials, new menu items on a regular basis and smoothies. They are clean, they use gloves and they work as a team, I really do appreciate that. Food, well it is fast food, but its fresh and always served hot. I also want to mention that you will find that even the drive thru experience is a friendly one.

Good food, but I don’t like not getting what I ordered and paid for. The guy repeated the order back to me — perfect. Then I have items missing. How hard is it to read off your printout? Not happy!

Clean Taco Time. The dude behind the register was very polite. The supervisor was very nice as well, and helped out in all aspects including delivering food to peoples tables. Will be back.

I’ve been coming to this Taco Time since the early 80’s. Long time customer and prior Taco Time employee. The original hot sauce has been my favorite and hasn’t changed, under the guise of new and improved, in all that time. The location in Meridian and West Boise have recently been renovated, menus refreshed. They have added a salsa bar with jalapenos and other fixings. My favorite menu item is the crisp meat burrito. Back in the eighties, Taco Time had $ 3 all you could eat crisp meat and crisp taco days. While that deal is long gone, on Monday’s they reduce the price by almost a dollar. I also love the mexi-fries drowning in nacho cheese sauce and original hot sauce. When we come to visit the grandkids, our first stop is the Taco Time in Meridian. On our return trip, we buy and freeze 50 of the crisp meat burritos to take back home. Pop a burrito in a convection oven for 3 minutes and presto, as good as restaurant fresh.
