I truly am not one to leave negative reviews and am not picky about customer service as I know what it’s like to work in such an industry. However, I am incredibly disappointed in the customer service that I was shown by this boutique. As a natural lover of small, local boutiques and a loyal customer to Swank for the last couple of years, I have spent a lot of money at this store, even brining my mom and friends in when they visit from out of town. I was always pleased with the clothing and the customer service. Here’s where my dissatisfaction comes in: On Saturday I tried to return a pair of shorts for my mom that she bought while she was here because they ended up not fitting her. They wouldn’t return the shorts because it was passed their return date. I understood and the lady gave me a 20% off coupon because she felt bad. I tried one some things in the store and after shopping around for a bit bought a couple of things. Last minute, I decided to buy a jumpsuit. I didn’t want to retry on anything so I asked the lady what size I would be and she told me small. I bought the small, used the coupon she gave me(in which she took 20% off the $ 30 jumpsuit and not the $ 70 dress) and I was on my way. 3 days later I was trying on my jumpsuit in hopes to take it on a trip. It did not fit what-so-ever, and now knowing the return policy, I knew I needed to return it before my week was up. I headed down to the store and when I got there the lady said she remembered me and said it was too bad it didn’t fit. She then says that she is unable to return it because«it was on sale». I said it wasn’t on sale, you used the coupon that you gave me because you couldn’t return my other items? She said sorry it’s technically considered on sale and is a final sale. I said had I know it was going to be a final sale I would have tried it on before purchasing it, not just taking your word for what size I should get. She not so nicely responds, «Um you did try it on didn’t you?». Yes, you’re right, I bought something that doesn’t even come close to fitting me. I politely tell her that this the second time this has happened and that I have been a loyal customer and will not be returning. The only response I got was«Sorry Taylor». Moral of the story: Don’t buy something unless you are 10000% sure you won’t want to return it because chances are you wont be able to regardless of how much you shop there or how kind you try to be during the process. Swank lost me as their customer this afternoon.

While this store has cute clothing beware if you buy anything. I was a first time shopper and trying to support local business I went to exchange something I bought there and then was told about their very limited exchange policy. I wanted to shop here instead of online but I will be going to other boutiques in the area or back to online. Customer service was ok but it’s been better at other boutiques in Boise.

I absolutely love Swank Boutique! They have unique clothing that I used to have to go online for, and at affordable prices too. The customer service is amazing. I’ve always had a room started for me and always feel welcome. This boutique has become a staple in my shopping rounds!

My daughters and I love shopping at Swank. They have unique and fun clothing, things you can not find at a mall! It is our go to store! Service is awesome, if they do not have your size they almost always can find it at another store! I highly recommend checking it out, you will not be disappoint:)!
