My husband and I ordered for delivery, from the Meridian Panda Garden on 5÷4÷16. We were so hoping for a good experience. We have tried several Chinese restaurants for delivery, and haven’t found any place we would ever order again. Either our order is wrong, or something will be left out. Happens every time. Well, once again, a huge disappointment. One order(the most expensive on the menu) was for a House Special, «Neptune Blessing», which according to the menu was lobster, prawns, and scallops with veggies. Well, there was no lobster in the dish. There was some imitation crab, some nice size shrimp, and a couple of tiny little scallops. The other meal, King Tso’s chicken was totally tasteless. On the order form we could choose white or brown rice. Guess it didn’t matter which we ordered, because we didn’t get either one. We ordered vegetable spring rolls and shrimp spring rolls. Pretty bland, and we did find one tiny shrimp in one of the two«shrimp rolls». Wouldn’t even give it one star, but have to give it something to be able to post.

Do you want your food now or within the next century? It took an hour and a half for 3 dishes to get delivered. Order in you say? It took 40 minutes for two dishes. Food is not bad but speed of service is a large aspect of a restaurant’s quality. No tips for good reason.

I have been here quite a few times. This is my favorite sushi place in Boise. The food is always amazing. Today I got the mixed veggies in garlic sauce as well. I really like how all the flavors mix well. Highly recommend you give this place a shot for the food. The service can be interesting at times but I enjoy it.

This place was awful! We went in at lunch time(around 12:30). not overly busy. I think there were 3 other tables. It took 45 minutes for our lunch to get there. I ordered the broccoli beef. It was ok but not hot. My husband ordered sweet and sour chicken and it was the same thing. Not hot. We also ordered an egg roll that never came. The waiter was pathetic. When we told him we didnt get the egg roll he mumbled something that we assumed was sorry I will get that. Obviously it was more of sorry you ain’t getting that. It never came. We were given the most God awful egg drop soup. Sorry to be gross but it looked like snot. The only thing that was warm and tasty was the brown rice. BROWNRICE! Seriously, we never ever stiff the wait staff but that guy got 3 cents from us and I still felt like we overpaid him. Once he delivered our food he never came back. Someone else gave us the ticket. I would never go back. Ever.

They’re not the fastest in town, but I find their food of good quality.

Panda Garden was the only place open on the night of Christmas Eve. I wasn’t able to make it to the store since I work all day and so that night my boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner. The egg rolls have a ton of pork. The sliced chicken with spicy tea sauce is my favorite. Lots of spice, flavor, and green peppers. Tempura shrimp is delicious too. Try it!

Best Americanized Chinese food in Boise. Fresh veggies, prepared well. The prices are a bit higher than my #2(Guang Zhou), and the portions smaller. But, the overall quality is higher.

You know, the food is whatever and just tastes like the rest of the food these places have. But when that’s the case, these dudes NEED to learn how to work on their English speaking skills if they want to succeed. No, I’m far from racist, but I’m thick with business, and this makes it difficult when I say — ordered using paypal. That word paypal is so damn far from their understanding that they throw the phone back and forth, not maybe thinking that the Internet exists and cam be used to search up what I’m talking about. This indicates when they try to solve problems, they throw the phone back and forth and bicker with eachother and get louder and louder, and nobody solves the problem. So yeah, food kinda sucks when you think about it… boring same old shit some foreigner comes up with to chase the American dream that long died ago… next please …

Always awesome. My go to for Chinese in the area. Always super nice and friendly and I just love all the food especially the house fired rice. And they have a drive through which is really cool.

I ordered the Crispy Sesame Beef(Hunan), a «house specialty», for $ 9.50(served with white or brown rice). Here is the description of this dish from the menu: «A delicate & remains(this is their typo, not mine) Hunan Dish, Thick slices of Prime Beef dipped in Lotus flour, Fried & Cooked in an exquisite Sesame seed Sauce.» I say, «In your dreams.» The dish held-out promise when it was delivered to my table by a very friendly young fellow; very cheerful. The more I ate the meal, the more I disliked it. I suspect it was loaded with monosodium glutamate(MSG), because my tongue now feels like a piece of cardboard and I fear my taste buds may have been annihilated for life; I also have the telltale MSG headache at the back of my neck. The slices of beef were anything but«thick» and it certainly was not«prime» at all. Also, what the Hell is «lotus flour»? Furthermore, the«…exquisite sesame seed sauce» that they describe has the consistency of Gorilla Glue. I now know how the Great Wall of China has managed to remain standing since 210BC; they used sesame seed sauce as mortar. I also ordered iced tea, $ 1.65. There may have been some tea in there but you could not prove that by me. It was weak and tasteless. However, it managed to wash-down the MSG. As to ambiance, the place is as comfortable as the Baltimore Greyhound bus depot and, like so many restaurants of this ilk in Boise, Idaho, it needs a deep scrubbing. In addition, the place appears to have once been a Mexican fast-food place … you know … arched windows and the«adobe look». This clashes with the menu, to say the least. They also serve sushi. Go ahead, give it a try. You can write your Unilocal review from your hospital bed.

Had the Dragon and Phoenix, which was delicious. Their sashimi pairs, while not the best I have ever had, were as good as anywhere in Boise. Very nice surprise!

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but the food here was horrible. Even the soups just tasted like thick gooey grease. The great reviews here were very misleading. There are so many better Chinese food restaurants to eat at so I will never have to resort to eating here again.

When a person has to exit the restaurant in order to take a leak it is understandable that his suspicions are on high alert. This is my second attempt at this little joint and I have to say it is likely my last. Not only is the layout weird, the service is friendly but clueless. This place is unsure if it’s place in the world. Japanese/Chinese food? Even with my limited knowledge of history I know that the Japanese and Chinese hate each other… Most importantly, the food confuses the white mans pallet. The Mandarin chicken is more like chicken in pineapple sauce. It’s not bad but certainly not what I’m used to when I order Mandarin chicken. However, if you add soy sauce to the pineapple chicken mixture it is actually quite good. Incidentally, if you want soy sauce it’s not going to be found on the table, you actually have to ask for it… Overall, I can’t recommend this restaurant… It just has too much to overcome. 4 stars for the service 2 for the food.

The best Chinese food in the area hands down. It looks a little sketchy from the outside but it’s definitely worth it. We got the sliced garlic pork, moo shu chicken, and the curry chicken. All three options had a nice ratio of meat to vegetables so you got a little something with every bite. I typically don’t order pork but I’m glad that we did. The pork was in small bite sized pieces and not overwhelming with the garlic sauce. Overall we would order it again. The curry chicken has some kick! I love curry and it was a very well balanced yellow curry. The food wasn’t drowning in curry sauce which was awesome because I have had some where it’s just drowning in sauce and no actual food substance. Definitely would recommend this dish for those that like spice. The moo shu chicken is just an all around favorite of mine. The pancakes they use here are sturdier than most I have had in the past and it’s nice to not always be dropping your food. The portions are BIG so plan on taking home leftovers!

Thanks for being open late and delivering, but please advertise your food correctly. Every time I order something, I don’t get what I expect. Want Chow Fun? Well, if you order here you’re going to get angel hair noodles with some sauce. Chow mein? Hope you’re not expected noodles because you’re going to get cabbage Only thing I’ll order from here is fried rice.

We looked up «nearby Chinese food» using the Unilocal App. and picked this place because of its proximity to where we were, its star rating, and because it was open at 9PM on a Sunday. My wife got garlic shrimp with brown rice, my father ordered sesame beef, and I got orange chicken. We ate family style and everyone enjoyed each other’s dish. Although I liked both, my dad’s «sesame beef» tasted very similar to my «orange chicken.» I thought at first they gave him sesame chicken instead of beef, but we confirmed it was beef. Both mine and his were fried, breaded meat and had a sticky sauce, and although they weren’t the same, they weren’t as different as I’d hoped. The service was alright. There weren’t a lot of customers while we were there and I felt like the wait staff was busy doing closing duties and not as attentive as they could have been. I had to get up and wait for someone to come out of the back to ask for soy sauce. We asked for tea during our seating/drink order, then they asked again when they took our food order. I think we had different person seat us and take our order so maybe they just got their signals crossed. These were small flaws, but I noticed. The staff was great at fulfilling our requests for chili sauce and extra plates for family style eating. The place was clean and the people seemed to care about the restaurant and the quality of the food. We liked what we got and saved the left overs. It seemed like a good value, good variety and good portion sizes. They serve white or brown rice with no extra charge, which we found not the same as a nearby Thai restaurant in Boise.

I have been craving some good Chinese food & this place was just okay. I got the shrimp & mixed vegetables for lunch and it didn’t really have much flavor. I would probably try Panda Garden again, but would order something different. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with the food and am not dying to go back anytime soon.

My office and I ordered from here yesterday for the World Cup match against Belgium. Based upon my order, I will not go back here for the quality of food. I cannot talk about service since I didn’t place the order. My order was Chopped Garlic Chicken with Brown Rice. First of all, there were so many vegetables in my order that I couldn’t even taste the chicken. If I order chicken, I want to eat chicken and want my salad on the side. Plus, I already had a side of brown rice. The chicken itself was very rubbery and the sauce added no flavor whatsoever. After conversing with my office, we were not impressed with the quality of their food.

Wasn’t happy with them. Their teriyaki is gross! The orange chicken was decent but no better than what I can buy frozen at the grocery store for a fraction of the cost. :(
