I found these guys on Unilocal and am glad I did. They were able to get me in quickly and fix my computer problems in one day. Reasonable pricing too. Would definitely recommend them for computer repair. Nice location in the north end too.

Ok People. I write good ones and bad ones with equal gusto. This is a big Fiver Star! Local(A real Northend Charming location with new owners putting big effort in to new landscaping, etc.). My Dog Groomer is in the back and my Vet and Insurance Agent are on the other side of the Alley. I am such a Northender! Anyway, to the business. I had used some other place a year ago with a Groupon Deal and it was a disaster. Couldn’t fix anything and never answered the phones. Bah! Why bother to be in business? Northwind gets this is spades. Pleasant, Enthusiastic and detail oriented Customer Service provided by Kevin(superstar!) and others who pitched in to Frankenstein my old Toshiba back to one more life. They stayed in touch througout the process which was somewhat lengthy due to all the Downloads necessary from Microsoft to switch from Vista to Windows 7. I Can’t say enough about Northwnid Computers. Oh, and there are two cute Boston Bull Terriers there to great you so what’s not to like? I recomend that you use them to the power of 10.

Last year they replaced my laptop display and did a great job. This year I went back when I was getting mysterious crashes that seemed to indicate a failed CD/ROM drive. Cody recommended that rather than spend a lot of time tracking down the problem, he reinstall Windows. He saved all my data. I did need to reinstall some applications. But whenever I had a problem or a question, he used remote logon software to instantly fix the problem. He knew a lot about my Mozilla apps and where they store the data. And he tracked down every little thing that wasn’t exactly right — all part of a very reasonable flat fee. It did turn out I needed a new CD/ROM, which Cody ordered. I was impressed to watch him open my Toshiba Portege quickly and easily to put in the new drive. Just opening this model is not common knowledge, but he obviously has a lot of hardware and software experience. I would go to Northwind for any computer problem and would recommend them to any individual or business. They are often out at their customers’ sites and seem to be very busy, but they made me feel as important as any corporate client.
