I was recommended by my little girl — Ann who come here often. I love my nail tech — Thao I believe. She is the most patient and detailed person that I used to work with. I got my fingers painted in a black red zig zag with some little pink balls. Her ideas are well paired with my wedding dress. Will come back again soon

I feel obligated to write this review since Unilocal was what got me in to the place in the first place. I had a mani and pedi. I also had an appointment.
Pros: Clean, good music, no acrylic smells (only b/​c they do not do acrylic), they sat me right away
Cons: The nail tech was very rough and pushy with my feet. She never gave me eye contact. She pulled and tugged at my feet the entire time. There was nothing pleasurable about it.
A younger tech came over to do my nails simultaneously. She asked if I picked my color out, and then told me ‘that is a ugly color”. What? really? It was a neutral, light pink. I mean really?
I told her I did not want her to use the drill to get the previous gel off. She started using it anyways. I asked her again and she held on to my fingers tighter so I couldn’t get away. Really? I finally pulled away and angrily told her to stop.
She asked if I wanted rounded or square tips, I told her rounded. She squared off two nails. Two of my real nails. Now all of my nails had to be shortened to match. I stopped her. WTH?
I pulled my hands away at that point. I grabbed my things and told her I did not want to continue. They acted as though there was a language barrier. I think not. When it was time for me to pay for my toes, they spoke perfect English.
I get 10 – 12 mani/​pedi a year. This was by far my worst experience in Boise. Will never return.

Love this salon! They are amazing, hot stone massage with your pedicure, great music, and friendly technicians! The owner was so nice, we had a fabulous conversation. Thank you for being minutes from my house, bonus for me!

Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, exceptionally clean, great attention to detail. I stopped by this place on my way home from Repeat Boutique because I saw their Wednesday $ 20 gel manicure sign on the street. I was immediately blown away when I entered the space which was so modern and peaceful. A lot of nail salons feel hectic and thrown together – the owners at Ideal clearly take pride in their business and in their work. This is an awesome business for the Bench. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ — will definitely come back. Plus they serve wine!

Saw the reviews and checked it out. They had an immediate opening and were friendly, service-​oriented and in a location that was clean and beautifully decorated.
For $ 25 I received a great pedicure with scrub, stone massage, and the normal services on top of that. Technicians are friendly, use cleaned/​sterilized tools for each client, and offer wine, Vietnamese coffee (which is awesome), or water with your service.
A great deal for an inexpensive, quick pedicure!

This place is awesome! I had an absolutely wonderful pedi here! I recommend Tao who is fabulous. I got an amazing leg massage which included hot stones along with all the regular scrubs and pampering plus a free glass of wine. She was very meticulous and my cuticles and nail polish were perfect. They were having a summer special and I got all this for only $ 25! I won’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend Ideal and Tao for a great pedicure!

My friend Ivy and I visited Ideal last Thursday and had a great time! We were treated to free wine while we were given an amazing pedicure: soothing foot soak, sugar scrub, and hot stone treatment. The two ladies doing the pedicures were friendly and outgoing; the four of us were laughing half the time! Pricing was reasonable and the environment was calming. We will definitely be back!

Did not have a good experience here. They were busy and I was told it would be 15 minutes. No problem. The wait was actually less. However, I don’t believe the man the did my mani-​pedi was actually certified. My toes still have the color from the previous polish, he did not use the tools correctly. When it came to my mani, he did not use the cuticle softener and did not trim my cuticles well at all.
I would have been happy to wait for a qualified technician. Prices were reasonable, but I won’t be going back. :(

Holy amaze. After an 8-​hour shift, I arrived for a typical mani-​pedi and was treated to a bodnanza! (I don’t know what that even means, but it sounds accurate.) Buffing rub, incredible leg massage (my poor feet and legs sorely needed it), hot stone treatment and a truly fantastic polish job. I’m Unilocaling in the chair and haven’t even gotten to the manicure yet. Prices are reasonable, environment is soothing, and employees are kind. Thank you!

Today I found the most awesome nail spa. Absolutely the most comfortable, beautiful spot. Experts at what they do, the techs at this place were not only professional but also so courteous. Will never go anywhere else for a pedicure! I want to get a group of my friends and come here for a party! Highly recommend!
