I love La Quinta, but I hate bad customer service. Tried calling around 2pm to book a stay and was asked if I could be put on hold, being the reasonable person I am I said«no problem», five minutes later I was hung up on. Tried calling back 5 more times to book and someone picked up the phone and slammed it right back down. Guess they don’t like making money or filling up rooms at this location. I’ll drive another 40 minutes to the La Quinta in Kerrville and I’d advise everyone else going west looking for a place to stay to also do so.

Arrived on a hot day to find the ac in our room turned off. The room had a deodorant smell which made us and the dog sneeze. I could tell the rug wasn’t clean as the dog smelled the door frame and bed skirts. Sheets were old and smelled and pillows were hard. We left ac running all day in both rooms(we had the 2 room suite) and it barely kept it cool. Why is there no consistency in hotel quality with la quinta. We had just left a great la quinta in mobile Al.

Basically nice & clean room. Had all needed but only adequate. Breakfast was also adequate but noting to brag about. Staff terrific; management leaves lot to be desired. Arrived on Thursday & hot water was issue… shower early Saturday & again on Monday. No hot water after 9:00 am till about 5:00 pm. No management response. Poor customer service!

Guess I am just a Hampton Inn kind of guy… sheets that lost all sizing, uncomfortable pillows, indifferent air conditioning with little dehumidifying ability and Aggressive Air Freshener to make one gag! …and if I wanted leftover crispies from some Kashmiri refugee camp I would have stayed at a Comfort Inn !! Nice Breakfast dump ! Yuck.
