Flat Rate Movers

Keep looking for someone else. I’m with the previous reviewer (Ani M) said, 3 hours Late first day, second day «we will be there first thing», 4 in the afternoon they show up. after I recruit friends, family, anyone i can find, to bail me out of the mess they created. Lies, Lies, Lies. They throw your stuff down and go. and roll their eyes as you need the 250lb chest on the other wall. AVOID the stress and keep looking.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! The guys were suppose to move us at 9am, they never bothered to call us. Kept lying that it would be another hour! They didn’t end up coming till 2pm. To make matters worst the guys came being extremely rude to us and one of the guys was under the influence. They also told us it would be 5 hours to move a one bedroom apartment. We ended up moving ourselves and only took us 2 1\2 hours!
To make matters even worse my family saw these two guys at a service station and these two guys continued to harass them. We will definitely be making a report to this company. Do not deal will Marco or Brandon. Save your time and hire someone else. If there was an option I wouldn’t even give this place a star! HORRIBLE SERVICE!

OMG you must call this company!
So I moved last week, but I only just now got internet access at my new place and I just could not forget this company. I needed movers to unload a 26 foot moving truck full of furniture and household items that was full to the brim. Our move was especially stressful because my husband had surgery just 2 days before our planned move. That took him completely out of commission and I was forced to do the moving with my teens and their friends alone. It took forever to get the truck packed in the city we lived in so to unload I decided to hire some movers. I called Flat Rate Movers because they came up on the search for the town I was moving to. I called in a panic just a day and a half before my move asking if they could assist me. I spoke to a woman named Mindy who was wonderful. She was very nice assuring me that they could indeed help me even though it was short notice. I was elated. She explained that they had a job before mine, but would show up at around 2. Well they didn’t because the move went longer than expected… it happens and I understood but as time started ticking by I began to worry. What if they didn’t show up. What if they flaked. It was me and 4 teenagers and we were all exhausted. It had taken us hours and hours just to load the truck. I called Mindy who immediately contacted the movers who then contacted me and very soon after they arrived. Three guys showed up. I was happy to see them. I was concerned that after such a long move they may be tired and might perhaps drag their feet in getting my move done. I had contracted them for 2 hours, but figured I would probably need them for 3. Well don’t you know that in less than 1:15 mins they had already unloaded everything and set up the things I had requested!!! I couldn’t believe how amazing these men were. They were fast and strong and you wouldn’t have know that to look at them necessarily. All I can say is wow what a great company!!! Use these guys they are worth the money trust me!!! I will be moving again within a year and I can tell you that it is a no brainer for me I will absolutely use flat rate movers!!! :D
